  1. You sound like a mini-Trump, except that he knows right from wrong whereas you don't. He doesn't care about right and wrong and simply espouses divisiveness for his self-serving political purposes. You're just a follower who has chosen to let Trump do your thinking and to set your standards. To my last comment of not being hopeful, touché...
  2. Yes I have and stayed out of it until your link and post of eradicating bench trials and thinking that meant Cambridge is spreading hate. Please, go ask someone to interpret the summary for you....
  3. No different here... I've said things that I've had to apologize for and am sure I will again. Maybe even today? My 2 cents though.... It doesn't matter what 'we' are average citizens do to bring civility to our society if the persons who lead our countries have no desire to change the narrative. Most things start at the top and as the saying goes, sh*t flows downhill. If our political leaders want divisiveness then we'll be divisive. If our political leaders have some sort of epiphany where they say enough is enough and regardless of your political stripes we're all the same then we may eventually get closer to a more politically sane society. Sadly, I am not hopeful at all for the latter....
  4. I've refrained from referring to you as that, which is why I suggested and still suggest you get someone to help you understand what the summary is about. Maybe at the dinner table tonight ask your parents what this means - 'One simple yet meaningful way we can exercise the community jury trial right is by eliminating bench trials'. If you get the 'you should have stayed in school' look think of this back and forth....
  5. The strawman will be declared a liar soon enough....
  6. Get someone to help you understand the summary. If you even remotely think that 'eradicating' bench trials in any way shape or form means eradicating judges you're going to need someone to help you with that as well. Duh....
  7. You probably want to get someone to help you interpret what you linked and said. The article is purely about trial law and eliminating bench trials, not judges. Good try though.... 😂
  8. Looks like Poilievre was wrong in saying that nobody is at the Major Projects office to get anything done. Canada approves Blackstone-backed LNG project, paving way for $7 billion export facility https://worldoil.com/news/2025/9/16/canada-approves-blackstone-backed-lng-project-paving-way-for-7-billion-export-facility/
  9. I fully understand why she's saying this, but unclear who this applies to.... Trump has spent years labelling his political opponents as fascists, referring to past administrations intelligence community as Nazi Germany, and just last year called the Biden administration a Gaestpo administration. Not to be outdone by himself he mused about Liz Cheney being fired upon, and then in maybe his best attempt at comedy in talking about Paul Pelosi said “How’s Nancy Pelosi’s husband doing, anybody know?” Trump said at one point. “And she’s against building a wall at our border, even though she has a wall around her house — which obviously didn’t do a very good job.” Is any of that hate speech, or just all good fun?
  10. I didn't know much at all about him until a couple days ago and no, I haven't watched any of his 'stuff' and no desire to. I'd rather have a root canal. It's pretty clear though that if you read about his 'stuff' that much of it was about white supremacy, misogyny and homophobia. I said it yesterday. If you like that 'stuff' have it. Not for me though... What garbage did I introduce....his words and data showing the right is more prone to political acts of violence? I get it, facts get in the way of the narrative sometimes. Yes, Canadian and US politics are divided. Voting results prove that and we have a leader of the opposition here and a president in the US who think they're tough guys and appear to enjoy divisiveness. You say we need to learn to sit and have normal discussions that will unite us, but how do we do that when you in particular constantly slag the 'left' as being the reason Canada is 'broken' and for all the ills of the country? That's not a good starting point for any reasonable discussion...
  11. I've seen all your comments on climate, vaccines and anything else Trump wants you to believe. Waste of my time to debate things that are unequivocal, but not in your understanding of facts. Republican violence.... Have you already forgot about the made for TV J6 Insurrection event? Your boy apparently enjoyed the show with his bag of popcorn and friends. Or how about In June, two Democratic Minnesota state lawmakers were shot, one of whom died. In April, there was an arson attempt at the home of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, another Democrat. And in December 2022 and January 2023, a former Republican candidate paid people to shoot up the homes of Democratic officials in New Mexico. Also in 2022, Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was the victim of a brutal hammer attack by a man who said he’d been looking for the then-speaker. There was also the plot to kidnap Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2020. Were you against any of that?
  12. The smart money says he doesn't last until 2028. 79 with clear signs of cognitive decline, out of shape with poor eating habits, sedentary lifestyle.... Only a cheeseburger away.
  13. Where do you want to start.... The climate, vaccines, incites of political acts of violence, etc....? It's all in your mind anyway Nationalist. You have the Maga views nailed....
  14. And you discredited independent data that was contrary to your deep admiration of Trump. Your point here is.... what?
  15. Honestly, I won't care one way or the other what the documents say. The politics of the US have become enough of a joke throughout the last 10 years that absolutely nothing surprises me. But depending on what the docs say, I may very well use the Maga approach of disregarding facts over political leaning.
  16. Chuck's not 142 y/o? No admitting I'm wrong. Trying a new playbook that West reinforced yesterday; 'Yeah thats what happens when the woke have attempted to skew reality. Reality is they have only really counted hate crimes when it benefitted the left wing narrative' This only benefits the right. Fake news....
  17. Fake news. Chuck's 142 years old and gets confused with names and events. Understandable.
  18. Merely a coincidence I'm sure.... What a great way for his admirers like Trump to honour him.... respect his wishes and release them.
  19. So now that this is in the rear view mirror, when are they going to release the full Epstein files?
  20. lol.... Facts do get in the way of the Maga mindset don't they 'Morality' refers to the principles that differentiate between proper or right actions and improper or wrong ones, encompassing a system of moral conduct, virtues, and vices. Consistent with that Maga mindset the improper morals of bigotry, misogyny and homophobia are guiding principles...
  21. How do you say 'FU, we'll think about investments when he's gone' in South Korean?
  22. You can find better sources of information than JD Vance can't you? If you did a simple google search you'd have found the above two links and well as this one from the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism at the University of Maryland. Funny enough this consortium was established as a 'Centre of Excellence' by the Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate. They're not woke, are they? A Comparison of Political Violence by Left-wing, Right-wing and Islamist Extremists in the United States and the World Abstract: Although political violence has been perpetrated on behalf of a wide range of political ideologies, it is unclear whether there are systematic differences between ideologies in the use of violence to pursue a political cause. Prior research on this topic is scarce and mostly restricted to self-reported measures or less extreme forms of political aggression. Moreover, it has generally focused on respondents in Western countries and has been limited to either comparisons of the supporters of left-wing and right-wing causes or examinations of only Islamist extremism. In this research we address these gaps by comparing the use of political violence by left-wing, right-wing, and Islamist extremists in the United States and worldwide using two unique datasets that cover real-world examples of politically motivated, violent behaviors. Across both datasets, we find that radical acts perpetrated by individuals associated with left-wing causes are less likely to be violent. In the United States, we find no difference between the level of violence perpetrated by right-wing and Islamist extremists. However, differences in violence emerge on the global level, with Islamist extremists being more likely than right-wing extremists to engage in more violent acts. https://www.start.umd.edu/publication/comparison-political-violence-left-wing-right-wing-and-islamist-extremists-united
  23. 'My actions'.... If you care to look back these are copy and paste of data articles showing the 'right' being much more prone to political acts of violence. Now you think it's my data, or you just can't get your head of out your bias back end to understand that's it's two US think tanks who compiled the data. Now it's game on... WTF? You say we as in North American's can't even have conversations.....no sh*t. If you chose to read, which is questionable given what I linked for you, you'd find the kids family are all republicans and 'don't even know a democrat'. Who cares right, the kid had to be left to do that. Whatever.... I agree there will likely be more political violence in the US. Divisiveness lends itself to violence and they have a president who has benefitted from it and perpetuates it pretty much daily. Americans a generally a lot more passionate about their politics than Canadians are so hope we don't see that here, but not convinced we won't because there are politically driven *ssholes everywhere... And in these groups you talk about and being the Kirk supporter you are would blacks, women, immigrants or transgender persons be invited?
  24. What's stopping you if it's that bad. You b*tch nonstop about the left and Canada. You're a big boy, pack your bags and go live in the US. You'll assimilate into the Maga crowd seamlessly....
