  1. No, just this Republican president: Patel, Noem, kennedy, Bondi, et al... The most incompetent cabinet ever. What do they have in common? Total fealty and blind obedience to the most incompetent, corrupt president ever. You know you don't have to kiss the ass of every right-wing politician. That's just your choice.
  2. If I have to define 'good' and moral compass for you, there's something wrong or missing with you.
  3. Almost everyone I know is not religious, but they are good moral people. And a lot of so-called religious people are bigoted, greedy hypocrites. Why do you need a priest to tell you to be good? Why don't you have a natural moral compass?
  4. You're just pissed off because the vast majority of Canadians don't share your racist, hate-filled opininions, scared little white boy.
  5. Problem is the FBI is run by Kash Patel, one of Trump's finger puppets.
  6. It is somehow easier to spot a Republican even before they speak.
  7. Must be cozy in that bubble with Deluge. You boys play nice.
  8. Well aren't you a clever little boy. You ask a question then answer it yourself with a childish insult. Give yourself a sticker! Now go back into your grievance bubble and learn why trans people have destroyed your life.
  9. PeePee should have just got a huge blip then. Didn't happen. No election soon.
  10. WTF? Glad to hear you're thinking, but one person's opinion is nothing more than that. Like MTG?
  11. Don't count on it. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/carneys-liberals-soar-to-47-and-a-nine-point-lead-in-national-polls-after-davos-speech-leger "The Postmedia-Leger poll was taken Jan. 23–26, after Prime Minister Mark Carney’s trade negotiations with Beijing and his widely covered speech to the World Economic Forum warning against truckling to “hegemons.” It found 47 per cent of respondents would vote for the Liberals, a significant four-point jump compared to an early December Postmedia-Leger poll. It also shows that satisfaction in the Carney government jumped nine points to 58 per cent and Carney’s own popularity increased by eight points to 59 per cent in the same period. The poll shows the Liberals’ lead over Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives, at 38 per cent, has increased to nine points ahead of the opposition party’s convention that will see Poilievre’s support tested by a leadership review in Calgary this weekend."
  12. Someone who brushes side-to-side instead of up-and-down?
  13. Algorithms can be manipulated to produce wanted results. You can always phrase your questions and sift through the results to pick the answer you want.
  14. So he's got gas. We already knew that.
  15. Historic in what way? Democracy Inc. eoStnsrodpg22hufu1f534a5a0uul0iuh63mu2078a4290t6f06f14122fl0 · THERE SEEMS TO BE CONFUSION ABOUT THE NUMBERS AT THE CONVENTION For the 2026 Conservative Party of Canada National Convention held in Calgary from January 29–31, approximately 2,600 delegates were in attendance. Specific details regarding the delegation include: Total Votes Cast: The party reported that 2,588 delegates cast a ballot during the leadership review. Turnout: This represented approximately 95% of the registered delegates. Theoretical Maximum: UNDER PARTY RULES, THERE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE THAN 4,000 DELEGATES IF EVERY SPOT FOR EACH OF CANADA’S 343 RIDINGS had been filled (each riding is allotted at least 12 delegate spots). For historical context, the previous federal Conservative convention held in Calgary in 2013 saw a record turnout of approximately 3,000 members and observers. SO, BASICALLY, 1400 DELEGATES DID NOT ATTEND. WHY ?
  16. No similarity. Some punk wannabe carries an AR-15 to a protest, kills 2 people and gets away with it. Versus a protestor shot 11 times by untrained, masked thugs. That's the Right these days.
  17. ttps://www.theusconstitution.org/litigation/trump-v-united-states/ In July 2024, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Trump in a 6-3 decision, holding that a former president is entitled to at least presumptive, if not absolute, immunity from prosecution for all official acts. https://www.senate.gov/about/powers-procedures/impeachment.htm The Constitution requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate to convict, and the penalty for an impeached official upon conviction is removal from office. 2/3 almost impossible in the US Senate in this era. And if the Prez sees it coming, like Nixon, he can simply resign. You can't get much closer to total immunity than that.
  18. When I was young I worked for an old carpenter who told me about elections in his small town when he was young, which would have been in the 20's or 30's. Outside the polling station's entrance each party would have a barrel of rum, free drinks to sway voters.
  19. Listened to a few speeches- they're still running against Trudeau. Someone tell them he's not PM anymore. Danielle Smith gets an A+ for hypocrisy.
  20. The UN does good things all the time: World Health Organization (WHO): International public health. UNESCO: Education, science, and culture. ILO: International labor standards. FAO: Food and agriculture. World Bank Group & IMF: Finance and development. UNICEF: Children's rights. WFP: Food assistance. UNHCR: Refugee protection. UNDP: Development projects. But like any large organization, it has bloat, inefficencies, and corruption. That's no reason to throw out the baby with the bathwater. It's a good idea to have a forum where all countries can get together and work on problems. “All will concede that in order to have good neighbors, we must also be good neighbors. That applies in every field of human endeavor.” President Harry Truman
