Stable Genius Orange Man was right
Barquentine replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Possibly the worst trait you could have as a president. Now if you had compared him to a 'bag of hammers' I would have agreed with you. P.S.: You know what a stable genius is? A horse that can count to 4 with his hoof. -
And that's the beginning of wisdom.

Yes, and you're an under-appreciated genius. Why doesn't the world get that? -
Trump aiding and abetting the enemy?

Yeah, that's been done. Read all about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_geography_of_Nineteen_Eighty-Four In George Orwell's 1949 dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, the world is divided into three superstates: Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia, which are all fighting each other in a perpetual war -
Trump aiding and abetting the enemy?

Specifically? Like the obsevations that Russia losing the Cold War would lead to peace and prosperity? 'The end of History' some called it. I mean if you're psychic why aren't you the world's richest man? Please let us know what the future holds. Yours, with bated breath, B. -
Trump aiding and abetting the enemy?
Barquentine replied to Barquentine's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Trump has always sucked up to Putin. Why? Maybe Putin has something on Trump. The Trump family wants to do business deals with Russia. Trump loves dictators and wants to be one. Putin taught Trump how to amass greater power and wealth, through Oligarchs: AI Late 2025, President Trump approved a deal to sell TikTok's US operations to investors for approximately $14 billion, which some analysts estimated was worth over $40 billion to over $300 billion. The investor group, meant to ensure "American control," reportedly included Larry Ellison and Rupert Murdoch. That's a classic Putin move. -

And you predict this based on...? Wishful thinking? -
If "Most Seniors" spent their time at Mcd's there would be line around the corner all day and no room for anyone else. Actually if "Most Seniors" tried to spend their time at Mcd's, Mcd's couldn't handle the numbers. Reality please!

So Trump even admitted on camera that Russia was helping Iran fight the war against the US, which makes Russia an active enemy in this war. And yet Trump just dropped sanctions on Russia. How is that not treason? Even if you argue that the reason was to help European countries affected by the Hormuz shutdown, it's still just a big gift to Trump's favorite dictator.

Ok. Now I don't know WTF you're even talking about.

Don't worry. The 'Donroe Doctrine' will save them. -
Only by a Cassandra like you. Who was in power in 2008-2009? "The 2008–2009 recession in Canada was a severe but relatively short economic downturn driven by a 3.3% GDP decline, primarily caused by collapsing exports and investment. While Canada did enter a recession, its financial system remained stable with no bank failures. The economy recovered, aided by a 20%+ depreciation of the Canadian dollar and recovering oil prices. The Canadian Encyclopedia +4 Key Aspects of the Recession: Duration & Impact: The recession lasted from the third quarter of 2008 to the second quarter of 2009. It was less severe than the US recession but still caused significant job losses and a 33% drop in corporate profits in 2009. Causes: The main drivers were a steep, abrupt drop in exports (falling 22% in 2009) and a 14% plunge in business investment, particularly in manufacturing and mining."

"Suspected"? And of course there's no bias against brown-skinned people in Swedish police departments, is there? Does this include 'white-collar crime'? https://johnhoward.ca/blog/immigration-and-crime/ More immigration correlated with less crime Jung cites several previous studies that found either no relationship between immigration and crime or, in some cases, a correlation between increased immigration numbers and lower crime rates, using a variety of measures of population and of crime. Her study looks at 32 census metropolitan areas (cities) across Canada over 35 years.
