Are Alberta Separatists Committing Treason?
Barquentine replied to TreeBeard's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Can't wait ! -
How generous of you! You think we shouldn't have had Gen X, Z and millenials...? Every generation does and should. Nothing new about that. So you elected yourself spokesperson for about 75 million North Americans? Btw, saying "they" over and over just shows lazy generalizations on your part. You're talking about right wing information bubbles now. Truest thing in your post.

You haven't even mentioned ONE regulation. Why are you avoiding the question? Lets try this: Example: Would you eradicate water course setbacks for clear-cutting? Now for your homework see if you can think of an example. Sadly I expect only childish insults, bragging and cute little emoticons. That's your schtick.

I guess you're not old enough to understand peoples' political arcs as they age. The vast majority of people become more conservative as they get older, especially as they acquire money and property. Boomers just don't like lickspittles like Poilievre. When the Cons get an intelligent leader they might have some success. And as for that video from that rabid Infowars-loving extremist? There ain't enough cheese in the world to go with that whine. Yours either. At one point she complained about refugees. Wasn't she a Serbian refugee? She's free to go back if she doesn't like it here.

Is Avi Lewis Dangerous? Only to the NDP and Conservatives. So it's a glass half empty, half full situation.
-
Firstly: RIP NDP Secondly: Will this prompt more floor-crossers? But we can't ignore every idea: Landlords can get greedy and arbitrarily jack up rents, especially through reno-victions. Severeal cities in the states are trying state run non-profit grocery stores. We only have a few large chains here and they've been caught colluding on prices. A little competition might help. Unions have brought about changes that have helped all workers. Why all the complaints about keffiyehs? This is Canada. You can wear whatever you want. (Except maybe in Quebec.)

The Only Thing Dems Win at is Corruption.

So what? Millions of people doubled their investments in recent years. AI Certain specialized ETFs have shown rapid, high-level growth over the past five years, with some doubling in value. -
HaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHAHaHaHaHA.... You're always good for a laugh. (Hint: I'm not laughing WITH you!) Did that 'psychiatrist' do any of those things? Good SNL skit: Psychiatrists in a bar fight - the Jungians vs the Freudians. It's all about your insecurity. A psychiatrist said that!

Except I already did answer about those 2 laws. They will be amended or dropped when private industry steps up for projects. But you couldn't answer my question about what regulations to ditch. You just parroted yourself about "TWO Laws", claimed some kind of childish victory and and ended with your usual Grade 3 insults. I'll give you one more chance: What REGULATIONS would you do away with?
-
You mentioned 2 LAWS. AI Laws are broad, legally binding rules enacted by legislative bodies (parliament/congress) to establish rights and obligations. Regulations are detailed, technical rules created by executive agencies or departments under authority given by a law to implement, enforce, or explain that law in detail. So what regulations would you do away with? - Construction and fire codes? -Setbacks from waterways for industries? -Safety regulations that save worker's lives? -Runoff and tailing ponds regulations that protect irrigation and drinking water? -Food ingredients? -You want to bring back flammable baby clothes? -Transportation regulations? Road, rail, and aviation? -Top countries for high, effective regulatory enforcement include Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany. And yet they're among the most efficient and happiest nations. Singapore! When you start looking at regulations you find they are there for good reasons,: safety and improvement.

That's a very relative assessment. Rich is a comparative word. I have a roof over my head and enough to eat. Does that make me rich?

This is where you have imprecatory psalms. This is where you pray strongly,” he said. “The psalmist is not shy. God, destroy them. Make them as dung on the ground. Haymes repeated that he wants “death and new life” for Talarico. “And if it would not be within God’s will to do so, stop him by any means necessary,” he said. At one point, the podcast host said Talarico “is the kind of guy you pray imprecatory psalms against. And I mean that actually.” An imprecatory psalm is a biblical song or prayer that invokes God’s judgment, curses or destruction upon enemies. But yeah, I guess they only had his best interest at heart.
