We are not talking about the general concept of revenue. Workers pay 12%+ of their income into social security. The problem is that Congress uses it as their general fund slush fund, it is full of waste, fraud, abuse and systemic issues with how it has been turned into a welfare system for disability. Add on top of that increasing life expectancy and you end up with a system failing by design and mismanagement, not because we don’t tax enough.
