This week is not going well for the hapless left. First, they "shutdown" the government. Only problem was, no one noticed. The government was shutdown for three days and virtually no one knew. The news spent precious little time on it. They ended up voting for a spending bill that got them almost nothing they asked for and zero credit for anything they did get. Then Harry Enton took a huge left wing issue and torpedoes it: CNN’s Harry Enten Torpedoes Schumer’s Claim Voter ID Is ‘Jim Crow’ Legislation: ‘The American People Are With Nicki Minaj!’ 81% support voter ID legislation. 75% of blacks support it. Voter ID is about to become law. Opposing it will just show the world who is guilty of fraud. The VAST majority of Americans want voter ID laws. VAST MAJORITY. Those that don't want it? Why? Because they benefit from it. They want voter fraud. They NEED voter fraud. Democrats lose the budget battle. Democrats lose the voter ID battle.

Gee, so why are there laws against it and judges that rule that it is illegal? -

From the reporting, it appears that most of what wasn't k ow was just old rich men planning dinners with women (of age) that might accept money for sex. There might be some prostitution charges...maybe. Did anyone else notice that it is mostly very wealthy democrat donors that were exposed? -
They set up a "checkpoint" under the assumption that they have the legal or moral authority to override government officials performing duties enforcing properly enacted laws that are supported by the majority of voters. They are terrorists, attempting to force their political beliefs through intimidation.

From my investment manager today: "One of the more notable features of January was the coexistence of very strong equity inflows alongside steady bond demand. Investors are not rotating wholesale out of fixed income — they’re layering growth exposure on top of existing balance. Momentum: January’s flows suggest investors are carrying risk forward into 2026, not de-risking after a strong multi-year run. That behavior is consistent with a soft-landing mindset rather than late-cycle panic." If countries are selling bonds, they are taking profits as demand increases.

FoxNews: Trump considers legal action against Michael Wolff and Epstein estate after latest document release Turns out Michael Wolf asked Epstein for compromising information. Epstein told Wolf that he did not have any. Two things: 1. This exonerated Trump 2. This implicated the press Wolf should be drummed out of the media. -

Do you understand that in both cases you are arguing that the law abiding should be held accountable and the law breaking should not? This is why the left should be ignored. -

Read the allegation. The allegation calls him President Trump. What does that mean? That means at the time of the allegation Trump was President. This is a new allegation. Further, it is hearsay. This is not from the supposed victim. The accuser lists an unnamed friend that performed the act. Despite all that, they investigated any way. They found no evidence that it happened. It is more likely that @robosmith called this in than it actually happened.

Tail lights on modern trucks can cost $1500. It depends on the systems. If they have the trailer camera system, it is pricey. If not, it is a minimum $200 on amazon, more at the dealership. -

So one guy went to protect businesses from unlawfulness and the other went to protect criminals. I wonder what the difference is?
