We need to destigmatize mental health care so that those that care for people with problems will feel comfortable getting them health. Pulse night club? Let's be clear. Our laws do not support such behavior. Our laws prevent such violence. However, Muslim oriented countries' laws do support violence toward gay people. As such, Muslim on gay violence is profoundly higher. Countries that are predominantly Jewish or Christian don't have such violence. To say that Catholics persecute gays more than anyone else is flatly ignorant. Also, you don't see trans people in Islamic countries shooting up children at schools. Despite the fact that guns are far more accessible and the persecution is far greater, they don't resort to violence. Your assumption that it is the guns and the persecution is just you applying what you hope is true because it would support your own bigotry.

We saw, during the Biden era, distractions on a mass scale. His administration allowed millions of illegal aliens to cross the border. They promoted DEI. They pushed trans acceptance in locker rooms, sports and restrooms. We had to defend against all of that. While we were chasing illegal aliens, defending girls from men in their sports, restrooms and locker rooms, and trying to prevent race based discrimination, Iran was developing nuclear weapons, terrorists were plotting to wipe out Israel, Russia was invading Ukraine, the economy wasn't being managed and other areas of legislation were being ignored. I am glad the adults are back in charge and these distractions are being out to bed.

And then what happens? The assumption that the military would even carry out orders to kill civilians is not necessarily a given. After all, you might literally have family members in that uprising. Do you think an officer would order troops to kill people that are in his family? He might. But there is a good chance he won't. The aftermath would be even greater. The purpose of 2A was to expedite training of civilians to fight. If civilians knew how to shoot, then all they needed to know was how to fight. The added benefit of an armed civilization is invasion is absolutely impossible. Imagine Mexico trying to cross the border into Texas. They'd get mowed down in every town by civilians that can shoot and have more ammo than the Mexican army. The Constitution is supposed to defend us from tyranny. If tyranny were to happen, 2A wouldn't be relevant because the Constitution wouldn't be valid.

If this is a letter from the shooter, this confirms what I've been saying. Trans is a symptom of poor mental health and not the condition itself. He admits to being depressed, suicidal and self destructive. If we want to stop these tragedies, the goals must be destigmatizing mental health help and de-glorifying mental illness symptoms like body disphorphia. If I would have thrown this guy out of a women's restroom to protect my wife or daughter, I would have been labeled a Hitler. All the while, he was planning to kill people based on their faith.
