The Olympics Alienated Billions
Fluffypants replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
In pop culture the Last Supper has been parodied but it usually was done to signify someone is getting in trouble. Like if it is a guy in a bar whose wife called and yelled at him it could be shown to be his last supper because his wife is going to kill him when he gets home. This is offensive because it was made to mock Christianity not as a parody, there was no story there, there was no purpose other than be shocking but not enough to get beheaded. -

The big fat one in the middle is supposed to represent Jesus? Does that mean we will see it crucified during the closing ceremonies? -

I can see the woman "misgendering" someone if she was distracted. I actually had did that once with a little person assuming she was a child because all I saw was a short person and I was in a hurry. Same things happens with fat people being mistakenly called pregnant and vice versa. Ive misgendered people who weren't even trying to be a different gender. Lets be honest most men trying to be women look like men trying to be women, some pass pretty well. Women seem to be able to pass as men a little bit better when trying for some reason. And all the non-binary and dumbass fake genders that require all kinds of different pronouns can just f off. Luckily for me I just call everyone dude doesn't matter male or female or whatever. -
That is not how that works exactly. They only get a certain amount vetoes to remove jurors without cause and the same goes for the prosecution. The judge decides whether cause based removals are justified. If you have a judge that is pro-prosecution they could let a number of jurors through by saying there is not enough cause even if they know there was and force the defense to use their vetoes. This was why everyone said the choice of venue was unfair to Trump since it was the bluest district one of the bluest states. They voted almost 90% for Biden there is a definite bias there. We can get into the how the case was run and how the jury instructions were ridiculous. Either way Trump was screwed no matter what. We will see what happens on appeal.

Harris Is Not The Border Czar?

Who says he is afraid, that debate was between Trump and Biden and the rules were negotiated with that in mind, which greatly favored Biden because Trump knew it would be the only way Biden would debate him. Now the shoe is on the other foot and its Kamala that desperately needs to debate Trump, so Trump gets to renegotiate on his terms. -

That is complete BS he agreed to debate Biden not Kamala under those terms, if she wants to debate Trump she needs to negotiate with him on the time and place and rules. -
Fact check sites are completely useless. I have seen fact checks where they fact checked false but if you actually read the article below it, it literally should of been fact check true or they twist things to be like well its true if you look at it this way. Like they would take something Biden said that was false and then proclaim it mostly true because the administration corrected the record afterwards. They put fact check in big font at the beginning of the article knowing that people aren't going to actually read the article and question their methods

This is how Kamala could win.

They are chosen by the primary process not just handed to them because their primary candidate was going to lose and big donors were pulling out. You can't claim to be the arbiters of Democracy and then just say screw it when things don't go your way. You all spent years trying to convince everyone and their grandma, Biden was perfectly fine and actually better than he ever was. In no way what has happened within the Democrat party and this situation makes them look good. It would be one thing if Biden was diagnosed with a disease and had only a few months to live and had to leave office but he is staying in office and as far as we know he has nothing wrong with him, health wise. In 2016 and 2020 Republicans knew they were behind the 8 ball with Trump but he ran in the primary and won and was the candidate even though his polls were worse that Bidens now are. -

Honestly I don't think the leaders of the Democrat party are playing to win at this point, they are playing to not get destroyed and keep campaign funds flowing this isn't all about the Presidency this is about the down ballot candidates as well especially in blue states. If Trump can come in within striking distance of turning a blue state red like New York even his losing in that state could benefit the Republican party as a whole by getting some candidates in the more purplish districts to turn Republican. Kamala is just in there to not make things worse. Biden wouldn't get better as the election goes on and could possibly get much worse. -

He could of registered that way to vote against Trump. Pennsylvania is a closed primary state so you have to be registered to a party to vote in the primary. Tons of Democrats did this in order to vote against Trump in the primary. -

It doesn't matter what you think, most Americans see it as I have said, it is perception. Duh There was nothing ordinary about these court cases. They had create a law to allow for the looney E Jean Carroll to be allowed to sue. Alvin Bragg took a simple misdemeanor and twisted it to make it a felony and was given more than enough help from a judge who backs Biden. Leticia James got a bench verdict, meaning no jury had any say on his fraud case and he announces Trump was guilty before the trial even began.

We have seen for years what Biden was like and your party was just hoping to drag his corpse to the finish line. They would of held a real primary if they cared about Democracy and this country. You have a elderly man with dementia in the White House right now and waited till the last friggin minute because it became obvious he was going to lose. At this point its not about winning for Democrats its about not getting curb-stomped in the next election because they knew Biden wasn't going to get any better and the media couldn't cover up for him anymore. Unfortunately for you Trump is running a much more disciplined campaign this time around and has become a martyr. No matter what it looks like to you, it appears that the Democrats have been trying to use lawfare to destroy their political opponent and there was even an attempt on his life.
