  1. Antisemitism has been ingrained in Judeo-Christian society for centuries, going back to Medieval Europe, where they were not allowed to own land, and confined to living in ghettos. Jews were blamed for pretty much all the problems in Europe- from capitalism to communism. Even in Manitoba in the 20th century, Jews were not allowed to own cabins on the east side of Lake Winnipeg, and were not allowed to live in a wealthy Winnipeg suburb, until the 1960s. It's not surprising at all that the worst literature on Jews were imported to the Arab World from Europe (mainly Nazi Germany), and in many cases, were taught in public schools throughout the Arab World. Antisemitism has intensified for the past 20 years, as a result of the increasing number of Arabs and Muslims in Western countries, especially Germany, France, and the UK.
  2. lol @ Communist overlords. Do you even know what Communism is?
  3. My experiences with Jews, growing up in Winnipeg, were always positive. I lived in a predominantly Jewish area of the city in my late teens/early 20s, and worked one summer at a Jewish camp. I was always impressed to see a group of people that has been persecuted so much throughout history, always remain positive, and have such a good outlook at life. I'm not a fan of the Israeli Government, or what they have been doing for the past year. However, it's very telling that 99% of the protests in the Western World are against Israel, and the attacks on Jews have increased dramatically. Yet conflicts that have been arguably more deadly (Ukraine, Syria, Kurdistan, Armenia, Sudan, Yemen), and barely are even mentioned, let alone have people marching against Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc..
  4. The United States spends over twice the amount as Canada, per-capita, yet they still cannot provide health care to tens of millions of Americans. It should also be noted that Canadians live an average of 4 years longer than Americans (82 vs 78 years). Needless to say, for all it's issues, our health care system is better and more cost effective than in the United States. Countries like Sweden, Germany, and France have better health care systems than North Americans do, yet they are more left of centre than we are.
  5. I would ignore Nationalist, or "Russian Imperialist" as I call him. He is not as educated as some, and needs to learn basic history.
  6. "I declare martial law to protect the free Republic of Korea from the threat of North Korean communist forces, to eradicate the despicable pro-North Korean anti-state forces that are plundering the freedom and happiness of our people and to protect the free constitutional order," Yoon said. ----- What bullshit. The South Koreans parliament opposition has declared that Yoon Suk Yeol "no longer runs the country,: and the people are starting to revolt.
  7. Several hours ago, the South Korean leader imposed Martial Law over the country: South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declares emergency martial law Yoon made announcement during televised briefing The Associated Press · Posted: Dec 03, 2024 7:02 AM MST | Last Updated: 25 minutes ago People watch a TV screen showing South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol's televised briefing at a bus terminal in Seoul on Tuesday. (Ahn Young-joon/The Associated Press) Social Sharing South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared "emergency martial law" on Tuesday, accusing the country's opposition of controlling the parliament, sympathizing with North Korea and paralyzing the government with anti-state activities. Yoon made the announcement during a televised briefing, vowing to "eradicate pro-North Korean forces and protect the constitutional democratic order." He declared the step as critical in defending the country's constitutional order. It wasn't immediately clear how the steps would affect the country's governance and democracy. "I declare martial law to protect the free Republic of Korea from the threat of North Korean communist forces, to eradicate the despicable pro-North Korean anti-state forces that are plundering the freedom and happiness of our people and to protect the free constitutional order," Yoon said. It is the first time since 1980 that martial law has been declared in South Korea. The surprise move sent shockwaves through the country, which had a series of authoritarian leaders early in its history but has been considered democratic since the 1980s. The Korean won was down sharply against the U.S. dollar. The Biden administration is in contact with the South Korean government and is monitoring the situation closely, a White House spokesperson said on Tuesday. source; https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/south-korea-martial-law-1.7399501
  8. I've noticed that when you posted this, the MAGA loons tried to justify Canada joining the US, or American involvement into our political system, claiming "Canada is broken" or going on about our healthcare system. This is typical stance for enemy combatants to use, in pretext for invasion of weaker countries throughout history. I suggest putting anyone who cheers for US intervention of Canada's internal affairs, be placed on "ignore." They are bad faith actors, that do not have the best interests of society in mind.
  9. People in North America do not even know what real Communism is.
  10. It is pointless debating with people like this. User has seen his hero, Trump acting like a pompous ass, and wants to emulate him. However, he cannot pull it off, and comes across as annoying and uneducated. Most of the MAGA hyenas are similar. Being in a cult is terrible.
  11. Back in 2019: "U.S. forces left the Northeast Syrian town of Tall Tamr under the cover of darkness. But protesters with signs blocked the convoys. One read, "Thanks for U.S. people, but Trump betrayed us." In the Kurdish held-town of Qamishli on the Turkish border, residents hurled potatoes. As they follow the president's orders and drive away, America's troops are leaving behind men they fought side by side with against ISIS. This weekend, U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said most of the 1,000 troops leaving Northeast Syria are headed to Iraq to press the fight against remnants of ISIS. That came despite a tweet from President Trump saying he was — quote — "bringing soldiers home." Today, he added some U.S. forces will stay in Syria to protect Kurdish-held oil fields from ISIS and to fight ISIS." ---- Turkey knows that Trump is weak, so the Turks have ramped up their ethnic cleansing campaign against the Kurdish people in the region.
  12. Her husband Vince McMahon is facing multiple accusations of sexual assault, going back to the 80s, The McMahons also paid off victims they employed, after it came to light that two of his workers were pedophiles.
  13. Trump just posted this an hour ago. This could mean Gaza's days are numbered. I bet all those Muslims who voted for Trump, to spite Harris, are feeling quite foolish.
  14. You do realise there is a high probability, that we have spent months debating with a Russian backed troll farm?
  15. HIV rates in Alberta are up 73%, nearly doubled since 2019 Sunday marks World AIDS Day and doctors, researchers and community advocates are raising the alarm over the significant rise in HIV rates across Canada, including Alberta. According to an annual report by Alberta Health, the number of reported HIV cases nearly double since 2019 and increased 73 per cent between 2022 and 2023. “Our clinics are busting at the seams. We’re doing more work with much of the same resources,” said Dr. Caley Shukalek, a Calgary physician and the co-founder Freddie, a company offering treatment and medications across the country. “It’s a struggle to get patients to be seen immediately on diagnoses and that’s just because we don’t have enough doctors experienced and interested in being the clinics. We have a shortage of a nurse supply and shortage of in-house pharmacists to help us manage these patients.” https://calgary.ctvnews.ca/hiv-rates-in-alberta-are-up-73-nearly-doubled-since-2019-1.7129919 All the cuts to funding for Alberta health, and driving away Doctors from the province since 2019, has dire consequences for the public.
  16. It would probably be better, if you were not to converse with the MAGA hyenas, or put them on ignore. It makes for a more enjoyable forum experience.
  17. I'm warming up to some of your ideas. This is a Canadian political forum being overrun by pro-MAGA loons. Like nearly every Western country outside America, Trump is pretty much despised by 3/4 of Canadians. I am doubtful that the forum members believe what they are even posting, and it's plausible that a few may even be agents of Russia. There was a Twitter account I subscribed to in Edmonton called "YEGWave." YEGWave has been critixized in the past for posting inflammatory material, meant to increase racial tensions, and their pro-MAGA political positions. There are similiar sites across Western Canada, for Calgary and Vancouver. One poster had pointed out that the location of the account originated from Russia, as did the accounts in Vancouver and Calgary. Within hours, the location settings were changed to "Private," once people started to take notice. If we did an IP location search for every account on this forum, I guarantee a few would originate from Russia. Perhaps it is time to ignore all MAGA loons, and just communicate with ordinary Canadians. The last straw for me, was people claiming they are Canadian, defending Trump's 25% tariffs.
  18. lol....I guess you have not studied Asian history.
  19. Excellent. Hunter has been through too much for the past 5 years.
  20. Vikings win! A come from behind win. Two late touchdowns. They advance to 10=2
