That is horrible parenting. It's well known that people that own weapons (especially firearms), are more likely to use them on themselves, or friends/family members, than any intruder. It is absolutely sick that one would go against the community like this. Nationalist should be ashamed.

The Ukraine War will be over in 2025. The Russians will conquer their land, since Trump is going to abandon them, just like he abandoned the Kurdish people in Syria, and the Afghani Government to the Taliban.

I can see the MAGA hyenas are riled up. Perhaps I should throw them a raw steak, so that they will be preoccupied with eating.

In a year or so, I just hope the American public rises up against people like Musk and Ramaswarmy. The last thing America needs is two unqualified narcissists to gut America's social security system. The MAGA hyenas are once again simping for Billionaires. Bookmark this thread, and come back at the end of 2025. It will not be pretty.

Health care spending immediately dropped from roughly 8% annually when Harper took office, to 4% annually when he left office, with spending bottoming out in 2013, around 2%. Health care spending remained constant at 4% annually from 2016-19, until COVID hit, when it went over 10%. It does not show it on the chart, but health care spending (while not quite at 2020 levels), has risen dramatically in the last 3 years. Conclusion: There are three certainties in life: 1. Death 2. Taxes 3. The MAGA hyenas lying on internet forums.

Climate change is real. It cannot be disputed. There was overwhelming scientific evidence back in the 90s, and things have only gotten worse. What is wrong with inclusion? However, I know where you are going with this, and to simp for billionaires like Musk, Ramasharmy, Trump, and others, is to bow down in servitude of your masters. You can either be a part of the machine, or fight it. Do what you think is best for your children.

From what I have read, woke was slang that Black Americans used for "awake." It was used infrequently during the civil rights movement, then during the Black Lives Matter movement. It only became prerogative in the past 5 years or so. There is not really much connection to Marxism. It is more accurate to describe greed, and the gap between rich and poor, that has been growing since the 80s, and accelerating at a dangerous pace for the past 20 years. We saw this week how disgruntled Americans are towards the rich 1%, when a CEO of a predatory health insurance company was shot to death. If it is "woke" to come together, and rise up against the rich oligarchs that control things (Trump, Musk, Koch, etc), and get the people unified, and rise up, then count me in. Why should my taxes be increased while I slave away working 50 hours per week, in order to give multi millionaires tax breaks. If that makes me "woke" than I will wear that badge with honour.

Yes, let's take away social security and kick senior citizens to the street. All in order to give Billionaires more tax breaks.

'"The Canada Health Transfer (CHT), the main federal financial tool for funding provincial health care, has increased from $34.0 billion in 2015/16 to $52.1 billion this year (2024/25), a 53.1 per cent increase in about a decade. Moreover, the federal government has committed to increases in the transfer at a guaranteed 5 per cent until 2027/28." source: https://www.fraserinstitute.org/commentary/endless-spending-increases-will-not-fix-canadas-health-care-system

America cannot even get it's act together, to at least do background checks on persons that want to purchase firearms, and you call us f**ked? Stay in your lane, Yankee boy.

Sorry, the definition of "woke" has never been established. It's arguably the most overused word in the English language over the past five years. The truth is, you have no idea what woke means. Woke seems to have evolved into a pejorative, that can be used to define anyone who happens to disagree with you.

Jesse Watters is a terrible human being. The kind of individual who gets off on bulling people, and cries about it when he is given his comeuppance. Watters has a long history of abusive behaviour (stalking, racism, sexual harassment, etc). Sean Hannity is just as bad. I'm beginning to think it is a pre-requisite to be of bad character to host a show on Fox News.

They Lied...Go Figure...COVID

Considering it has been nearly fours years since the vaccines for COVID-19 were introduced, and the fact that there have been very few negative outcomes to the population who have received COVID vaccinations, especially compared to the negative outcomes of persons who are not vaccinated, I have faith in our medical establishment. Keep in mind mRNA has been around for decades, vaccines first used on animals decades ago, and finally on people in 2013. lol....you may want to pose that question to one who has obtained their degree in Virology, or works in infectious diseases in some capacity. -
Unsure why I am addressing this, considering I have addressed this point numerous times, and gave references, but her it goes. Per-capita, Americans pay over twice as much for their health care system, as opposed to the Canadian system. MAID is controversial, but I agree with euthanasia, in some cases. Is it not a good thing to control one's destiny after being diagnosed with a terminal illness, or a condition such as Alzheimer's? I know that the consensus in my family, is that they would rather die than live out the last few remaining years of life, in a retirement home, with dementia.

The Americans are electing politicians that are cutting health care, social security, etc. The real difference is Canadian are more likely to push back against the Government, if they try and reduce health related services. Not only that, but the talk about implementing a health care system more like the Canadian one, has been ongoing for decades. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/how-canada-got-universal-health-care-and-what-the-u-s-could-learn

Bernie was the man. One of the only modern day politicians that fight for the people, and was willing to take on the corporate bigwigs. He should have been President in 2016. Unfortunately all the super delegates screwed him out of the Democratic nomination. We need more people like Bernie Sanders, and less people like Donald Trump and Elon Musk. It always amazes me that working/middle class people would choose a couple of corrupt Billionaires over a man who fights for the working class. It also shows everything that is wrong with America today.

The Canadian system is very stressed, and is in need of some overhauling. However, to suggest the American system is superior, is a ridiculous take. There are tens of millions of Americans who are uninsured. Even when Americans are insured, they have to deal with predatory insurance companies like the one the CEO was in, with a 32% claims denial rate.
