  1. Golf is really the only sport Trump can play. Just look at him. He's in his mid 70s, overweight, and has no ability for any kind of cardiovascular exercise. Say what you wish about Biden, but seeing an 80 year old man biking 10km, is impressive. Releasing the footage would not hurt Pelosi.
  2. I hate when people post random YouTube videos to make a point, considering most of them either cannot be verified factually, or are nonsense.
  3. It's 11 months from the election. I'm referring to the undecided voters in the final week of the election, who tend to vote for the incumbent.
  4. Hindsight is everything, but if Israel could only go back to 1949, and delay any type of cease fire with the Arab countries, they would have likely driven all the Palestinians into Jordan and Egypt. From my understanding of the conflict, the Jews were barely holding their own in the spring of 1948 after the Arab countries declared war on them in May. However, the tide began to turn thanks to countries sympathetic to the idea of a Jewish state in Europe and North America provided Israel with military aid. By the cease fire in 1949, the Jews were clearly routing the Arabs and had driven 700,000 Palestinians out of the Holy Land. I don't think following the Geneva conventions is of great concern to many countries in the 21st century. The three most powerful countries - the USA, Russia, and China have all repeatedly violated the convention.
  5. When a Presidential race is close, the incumbent has the advantage, since the people who are undecided tend to vote for what they are familiar with. So the advantage definitely goes to Biden.
  6. There was absolutely no evidence of Ballot Box stuffing. In fact, Dominion Voting Machines, a Canadian company, was awarded the largest monetary legal settlement in American history, against FOX News, for their false claims against them. Meanwhile, Trump refused to concede office, and tried to subvert democracy by staging an insurrection. This has never happened in modern US history. So we can once again look forward to an armed revolt if Trump loses the election. Sadly, I think it may be successful the second time around.
  7. It will be a sad day for democracy, and the Western World in general, if Trump were re-elected. I'm praying that his cognitive abilities decline at a faster pace.
  8. Considering they are getting annihilated in Ukraine, I don't blame them. It's going to get a lot worse for your hero Putin.
  9. Russians' Support for Ukraine War Hits Rock Bottom: Poll The war in Ukraine has become considerably more unpopular among Russians since the start of the year, according to a survey by an independent Moscow pollster. Restrictive laws in Russia that criminalize criticism of the war can shape poll results, which are often based on questions that require only yes or no answers. But Chronicles, which was founded by Aleksei Miniailo, a Russian opposition politician, and a team of sociologists, says its surveys, in which a series of questions are asked, provide an accurate snapshot of public opinion. The Moscow-based research group asked 1,199 adults across Russia a series of questions in a phone poll between October 17 and 22. It found that the core of support for the war was only 12 percent, compared with 22 percent in February, one year after the start of what the Kremlin calls a "special military operation." Miniailo told Newsweek that consistent war support refers to the position of those who back the invasion of Ukraine, do not want Putin to withdraw troops and start peace talks without reaching military goals, and believe that army expenses should be the state budget's priority. Russians with a consistent pro-peace position were at 18.5 percent in October, a small drop from 20 percent in February. They don't support the war, favor withdrawing troops and peace talks without reaching military goals, and believe social, not military, spending should be the budget priority. More than half (52 percent) of respondents said they experienced anxiety or depression, an increase from 32 percent in March 2022, a month after the invasion started. A main reason for dissatisfaction with the war is the financial concerns that Russian households are facing. This week, Putin announced a significant increase in military spending. About 30 percent of the Russian budget will be directed toward the armed forces in 2024. The poll found that 44 percent of respondents have experienced a decrease in family income, while 20 percent said crucial medicines are no longer available. Only 5 percent expected their income would improve because of an increase in military spending in 2024. "A decrease in income is one of the core drivers of nonsupport," Miniailo said. "There is a strong correlation between decreasing income and other economic problems and people declaring less support for the war." "So of course people are shocked. They push it as far as possible from their conscience, from their attention, and when they feel the practical consequences of what is happening, it is once again actualized for them," he said. The number of respondents who would not accept withdrawal from Ukraine without reaching military goals decreased from 47 percent in February 2023 to 33 percent in October 2023. "This shows that people are tired. They are dissatisfied and don't want this to continue because their life is becoming worse," Miniailo said. Another poll out this week, by the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center and the Levada Center, found that Russians were getting tired of the war but were divided about how to end it. Sixty-eight percent of Russians support continuing the war, 22 percent strongly oppose a cease-fire under any circumstances, and about 20 percent strongly oppose the war. Meanwhile, 72 percent said they support peace talks, although only 19 percent are willing to make concessions to Ukraine for the sake of peace.
  10. Ukrainians Stand Behind War Effort Despite Some Fatigue WASHINGTON, D.C. -- After 18 months of grinding conflict, Ukrainians remain deeply committed to winning the war with Russia -- although slightly less so than they were in the early months of the war. Three in five (60%) Ukrainians interviewed in July and August said they want Ukraine to keep fighting until it wins, twice as many as those who want Ukraine to negotiate to end the war as soon as possible (31%). Ukrainians’ commitment is slightly muted from what it was in September 2022, when 70% of Ukrainians said they wanted their country to keep fighting, but the majority still staunchly support the war.
  11. Strange how you accept Putin's word as gospel....
  12. There were 43.7 million Ukrainians at the beginning of 2022. Of those, 150,000-200,000 are casualties. That is roughly 0.3% of the population. I guess mathematics was not your strong subject.
  13. I hope not. His Alzheimer's is entering the mid-stage. If Trump is elected, he won't even remember how to use the toilet, never mind deal with his political adversaries.
  14. LOL Where do you come up with this garbage? Did you just write the first thing that pops into your head?
  15. Actually, 99.9% of the population that was living in Ukraine at the beginning of 2022 is alive. The amount of casualties experienced by Ukraine is estimated at 150,000-200,000 with roughly 40,000-50,000 fatalities. Afghanistan did it in the 80s, and the Afghan resistance is not even close to the Ukrainian army in might. In fact, the number of Russian casualties in the Ukraine is 3-4 times more in just 21 months than they had in 10 years in their occupation of Afghanistan.
  16. I can't believe you spent all that time typing out a post that has nothing to do with the Russia-Ukraine war, or at least the reality of the conflict.
  17. You have the best avatar in the history of internet forums.

    1. OftenWrong

      OftenWrong

That's nice. Maybe you two should get a room?

      ;)

  18. For the last time, it's Zelenskyy, not Zelenski. Why do you insist on spelling his name wrong? You seem like the type of person who would have attempted to justify the Germany invasion of Poland in 1939.
  19. lol. Now that is unintentionally hilarious.
  20. Actually, I was planning on taking advantage of you, when you were incapacitated from liquor.
  21. Did you want to come over for drinks tonight?
  22. Jack and Larry tag-teaming Chrissy. Hard to believe they are all dead.
  23. LOL.. Yeah I can still remember at 12, finding the key to my Dad's locked chest, as I knew he had a couple of Penthouse magazines. I later discovered a couple of old blank VHS tapes, and out of curiosity, decided to pop it into the VHS machine, and of course, it was a porno. Needless to say, I was a popular guy, having access to a couple of my Dad's porn movies, when he was away at work, to show my neighbourhood friends.
  24. This was back in the 80s, and in comparison to today, it's obviously tame. There was a time when a man having two female roommates, who were neither family members or significant others, were considered taboo, and most landlords would not accept this. This is why Jack Tripper pretended to be gay. Since that was the only way they would be approved to rent the suite. Believe it or not, I was not the only one who was not allowed to watch the program, as many parents in the day thought it was too "adult" for children.
