It must be different in Ontario, since there is actually an auto insurers chart that lists the increase of premiums. It's 250% for a DUI, however that ends 3 years and a day after the offense, so it will drop back to prior levels, even with a suspension as it's a mandatory 90-day suspension regardless. Another thing to consider, is Alberta passed laws mainly decriminalising drunk driving, which means it's an issue with the Highways and Traffic division. I received a "administrative penalty." Even though it's pretty much the same penalties as a DUI, it does not go on a criminal record, and in Alberta, does not affect insurance premiums as long as Ontario.

It's 10 in Ontario. I believe it only affects your car insurance in Alberta for 3 years. " While driver's licence demerits only stay on your licence for two years, minor and major convictions stay on your record for three years. Three years plus one day past your conviction date, your insurance premiums will no longer be impacted. Criminal code convictions will remain on your insurance record for four full years" source: https://www.armourinsurance.ca/blog/how-tickets-in-alberta-impact-your-insurance-prices#:~:text=Three years plus one day, will no longer be impacted.

So does Putin. One can argue that the GOP is composed of people who are fascist in nature. And no, Zelensky is not a Zionist. What is with your antisemitism? Russia is certainly not winning the war. Since September 2022, the Russians have lost territory and the casualty rate is over 300,000 soldiers. And again, your hatred of Jews is concerning. What is next, are you going to preach from Mein Kampf?

It feels better when one is uncircumcised when having sexual intercourse. The head of the penis is very sensitive, and sticking it in a warm naturally lubricated hole feels good. The unfortunate thing, is it is easier to catch diseases like chlamydia, gonorrhoea, and even HIV.

Vivian Silver was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was in Israel for nearly 50 years, trying to fight for equality for the Palestinians. How do they repay her? They murdered her, than burned her body beyond recognition. What is ironic, is that the people in the villages had a greater percentage of civilians that worked along side, and wished for better living conditions for Palestine. At the end, it did not matter. Hamas killed and tortured them anyway...since they were Jews. LOL. I take it you are not familiar with the British. Arabs have enough land. The truth is, that the Islamic religion religion cannot deal with failure. Ultimately, the British reneged on their deal with the Jews, and by the time the UN took it over, 2/3 of the population was Arab. And still the Jews won the war. That is what happens in wars. The victor increases it's size. It's been that way since the beginning of time. The Arabs should have just made do of what they had, but they keep starting wars. As a result, Israel now has control of the entire area. We also cannot overlook the fact that Egypt and Jordan have trapped the Palestinians from migrating, and are using the population as political pawns, to make Israel the bad guys.

You sure have much to learn about history. For starters, the British had promised a Palestine to the Jewish people in the Balfour Declaration in 1917. Due to the rise of the Nazis, and Arab countries threatening to align with Hitler, and supply him with vast amount of oil reserves, the British repealed the Balfour Declaration, and introduced the White Paper of 1939. The Jews had no choice but to do nothing, as war was about to break out. However, by 1944, when it was obvious the Germans were about to lose, the Jews organised fierce resistance to the British. The Haganah (future IDF) was formed in order to combat British rule, and to attain statehood for the Jews, as promised. Guerrilla warfare for two years convinced the British to abandon Palestine, and had the region over to the UN. In 1947, the UN Partition Plan was created, splitting the region into a Jewish and Arab region. The Jews accepted the UN plan, while the Arabs rejected it. Once Israel declared Independence in 1948, Arab countries in the region invaded the country. They lost. Then in 1967 and 1973, the Arabs once again declared war on Israel. Not only did the Arabs not succeed, but Israel captured the West Bank (Jordan), the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt), and the Golan Heights (Syria). This is where the Occupation started. It has been 66 years since the occupation began. Eyeball is clearly arguing in bad faith, but this is precisely what happens when a weaker enemy declares war on a stronger military. The superior military usually wins, and usually gains territory in the process. This is what happened in the Holy Land.

Simple. I have the ability to think critically. For some strange reason, you seem to have a very "black or white" view of the World. The reality is that most intelligent people could have done some research in regards to the history of the Middle East, and easily determined that many of the best interests of America are not compatible with the interests of the local Arab population. Were you one of the those "you are with us or the terrorists" people? It has absolutely nothing to do with Bin Laden. As most people who actually have studied history, and can do critical thinking, it's obvious that America has not exactly endeared itself to third World countries. Well then, maybe stop sniffing gasoline at the pumps, and you will not accelerate the damage to your brain.

It's crucial to do critical thinking in situations like this. Q= Why are Arab groups launching attacks on US bases in the Middle East? A= too may reasons to list. The United States is hated by virtually every single person in the Arab World, And there are legitimate reasons for it. America has destabilised the Middle East for nearly a century, and treated it's civilians like savages. Let's not forget that the US launched two unnecessary wars against Iraq, that created Al-Qaeda in the 90s, then ISIS after the second invasion. Let's not forget that 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians perished from hunger, disease, etc. for the past 20 years. It's too easy to paint Iran as the boogeyman. America needs to treat the Middle East nations with respect, and work with the population to improve the region in terms of human rights, standard of living, and economic opportunities. We did this with Germany, Korea, and Japan after WW2, and they are eternally grateful for Americans enjoy full democratic rights. How did America lose it's way?

Arrest in ice hockey fatality

I apologise if I insulted you. However, it's the internet, and for you to question me about ever playing hockey is ridiculous. Hell, we can both say that we were top ranked elite hockey players, and there is little others can do to counteract this, even though we may both be full of shot. It's the internet man, chill. At any rate, I did play hockey up until age 15, when I excelled at a different sport. However, whether one plays hockey or not is irrelevant in this topic. -

I don't believe you have ever played hockey. You strike me as an armchair QB. Also why are you so condescending? -

If Petgrave is not convicted, it just means the prosecution failed to meet the threshold of the burden of proof. It certainly does not mean he is innocent. It's going to be an uphill battle legally to convict him, because there is no clear consensus towards his guilt. However, there is a pattern of recklessness and at least one of his former coaches has gone on record, stating as much, and the fact that he hated having to coach Petgrave, due to his wanton disregard for the rules. Additionally, there have been four ex-NHL players that have spoken up, and believe the kicking motion was intentional. We can agree to disagree. You think it was accidental, I think it was intentional. -
I was not a fan of the MSM until people like Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson somehow gained a massive audience. Now I realise how important it is to have media that reports on actual events, and does not try to manipulate the viewer with ridiculous populist appeal. Other than being paid off, I seriously cannot understand being on the side of the historical enemy of North America, especially when they invade a smaller nation, while committing war crimes. People who are pro-Russia need to step back and analyse the situation. Has Russia ever done anything positive to help the Western World?

What rabbis have been "cancelled?" Try being Arab or Palestinian, and being critical of the Palestinian leadership. Better yet, try being a woman or gay person speaking up against them. You will not last long. The fact that rabbis are even allowed to speak up against Israel, and not be persecuted or killed for it, is a sign of a healthy democracy within that community. There have always been rabbis critical of Israel.

Should Hamas support rallies in Canada be stopped?
NAME REMOVED replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
As it stands today, the whole idea that Israel is committing "genocide" is absurd. Even if 10,000+ Palestinians have been killed in this war, that is only 0.2% of the population. If Israel wanted to commit genocide, they would have done so years ago.
