  1. Of course not - or there'd be no need for the investigation. If someone's finger prints are found at the scene of a crime and that person had a grudge against the murdered victim, and they can't account for their whereabouts - thats generaly not enough to convict someone. But it's sure as hell enough to start investigating That's where we're at. Your claim that they have 'nothing' is pure fibbery. They have a great deal that implicates biden and warrants further investigation. And investigations is how you get the rest of the evidence.
  2. I mean, you're right. And yes if not nazi's then commies for sure. The nazi's rose as a response to commies. But - i think you missed a bit of a point there. Authortarianism breeds authortarianism. The nazis were still very authoritarian, they believed in a form of market socialism and sociatal socialism where the market and the people were tightly controlled in order to advance the interests of society specifically. They were about using the force of law to promote THEIR version of 'utopoia', which involved military expansion. Basically - nazism and communism are just extreme examples of the same thing with different flavorings. And historically - when one authoritarian group rises to political power another authortarian group will also rise to meet it, with a different brand of authoritarian. Consider the russian revolution. The pesants changed one group of controlling elites for another. Consider the fighting of the various church groups in countries throughout history. It's not even necessarily the 'middle' we should strive for. - it's more about reducing authortarianism and gov't overreach in people's lives. The us response to obama (who was all about intersectional politics and telling people what to do) was trump, who really isn't less of an authortarian.
  3. Wow - YOU'RE not a hate-filled bigot with a very thin grasp on reality at all are you LOL!!
  4. well - to be more specific they need proof of it before they're willing to PAY for it. They're happy to accept it if it's free. Gotta be afraid of SOMETHING after all, and it's not legal to burn witches anymore.
  5. Well those stats are out there and they're not zero. I have seen nothing that indicates that mutilating kids is a net benefit. You would have to make that case or show some species of reasoned argument that was compelling, and so far i've not seen anyone even try (not that my research is exhaustive or anything) I'm sure there's going to be suffering either way. It's an illness and there's no easy fix. And for those who are genuinely dysphoric it's going to be a misery. But the data shows that it's frequently misdiagnosed. That goes up significantly when society tries to make it sound 'cool' so to speak. And some groups, such as teachers, have been seen to actually promote or push kids towards that kind of diagnosis. Thats' the first problem. And the pain of living the rest of your life as a 'fake' or damaged person is probably worse than just a childhood. The second problem is I haven't seen a single long term study showing the results are a true benefit. To be blunt - the studies i've seen suggest more strongly that a supportive family and social network has a bigger impact. And i've seen nothing to suggest that transition surgery at 19 is somehow radically less effective than at 14. I have sympathy for the pain Trans people go through. I know what it's like to be different. And supporting surgeries when the person has reached an age where tehy can make decisions for their own future that are permanent is one thing and i can support that. But mutilating kids "for their own good" just has never turned out well in history and i see nothing so far that compells me to believe that it's a better idea here than letting them get a little older first. If there's specific cases where it would be then i think two doctors certified in that area of expertise should sign off on it as being absolutely necessary, and in that case fine, but i think that should be rare, not the average. It's gotten way too political to be able to consider it as a medical issue only.
  6. Sure, Fair enough. Criticizing is fine. Being happy they're dead on the other hand would not be. Like her or hate her we dehumanize ourselves when we revel in the death of others. We can be happy she's no longer an influence in politcs without celebrating her death right'?
  7. The Left Wing nutbars come up with these terms that THEY think are cool and somehow more inclusive like "latinx" and such, but actual real people always hate them. The reason the left comes up with them is to try to highlight the idea that "We" are seperate from "Them" And that anyone OTHER than white people has been equally oppressed by whitey and they should stand together. Because a chinese person and a black person is basically the same thing. Right? No difference? one label fits all?
  8. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/poll-finds-non-white-canadians-reject-ottawa-approved-bipoc-racialized-label Despite federal assertions that non-white Canadians prefer the term "racialized minority" or "people of colour," almost nobody does The official term for non-white people used in most Government of Canada communications is β€œracialized” or β€œBIPOC” (black, Indigenous, people of colour). β€œCurrently the terms β€˜racialized minority’ or β€˜racialized groups’ or β€˜people of colour’ are preferred by people labelled as visible minorities,” reads one of several β€œanti-racism lexicons” now maintained by federal agencies. But a mere 12 per cent of non-white Canadians polled used either term (six per cent for racialized, six per cent for BIPOC). Most used the term β€œvisible minority” (38 per cent), a hyphenated descriptor such as Chinese-Canadian (16 per cent) or something else entirely.
  9. First - https://www.nbcnews.com/business/economy/home-foreclosures-rising-in-us-where-which-states-rcna88394 Damn you're an !diot And second: a single family home in cali averages $708,936, us or 958,127.00 canadian an average british colunbian homes - including one bedroom etc so including smaller homes - is well over a million. Real estate in bc is far higher than Cali. It's worth more Wow - you're wrong twice in the same post. Very efficient
  10. https://ottawacitizen.com/news/canada/transgender-top-surgery-canadian-children/wcm/ceed8d49-95d4-42ff-b682-d88ddf32aec3 Hospitalizations and day surgery visits for bilateral mastectomies for gender reassignment surgery have risen sharply, from 536 in 2018-19, to 985 in fiscal 2022-23, according to data compiled for National Post by the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Of the 4,071 visits in total involving gender-affirming mastectomies or breast reductions reported since 2018, 602 involved youth 18 and under. Of those, 303 involved teens 17 and younger. The youngest age was 14. The numbers tell only part of the story. That's permanent life altering surgery being done on basically kids. Some of those kids as young as 14. But parents don't have a right to know and there's no concern about later complications or regrets, according to the left.
  11. It's still not good https://www.nesto.ca/real-estate/mortgage-defaults-foreclosures-rising-interest-rates-canada/ https://financialpost.com/real-estate/mortgages/mortgage-defaults-foreclosures-rising
  12. I don't know about germany but the us is definitely showing the signs. Inflation is only dropoing because interest rates are rising and that slows down the economy, Which is what it's intended to do. there's other fundimental problems in the states and the economic news isn't good. That's why biden is dropoing in the polls so bad.
  13. So. Back to the topic at hand. The NDP likely won't do anything till at least spring 2024 - that's when Jagger's pension kicks in However - their bigger problem is that right now they're polling far worse than they did last election and would likely lose seats. Jagger's knows if he loses more seats after a 3rd election like that chances are he's going to a leadership convention if the doesn't resign. As to the mechanics - while some issues aer indeed an automatic confidence vote (Basically any spending bill is for example, or something can be declared to be if the gov't wants to dare the opposition). it is also the case that any party an move for a motion of no confidence in the house during any 'opposition day' - where the opposition parties get to present legislation of their own. That happens fairly regularly although trudeau CAN manipulate that a little. There's a set number which MUST happen each session but the gov't can push them all to the end. At the same time the NDP cannot go into the next election tied to the hip to the libs. They have to break free. But they have to do so in a way that doesn't make them look like opportunists and sets them apart from the liberals. Historically in supply agreements like this the jr party tends to get mauled in the next election - the NDP will have to end that relationship early and theyl'l want a good reason - "Oh, we couldn't POSSIBLY support the liberals after XXX happened!" The thing is - the libs have been so horrible it's hard to imagine what they would spit over than people woudknt say 'but how is that worse than when you stuck with them over xxxxx?"
  14. Sigh - states don't vote on supreme court decisions. I have no idea what made you think that they do. The supreme court was ruling on the constitution, which was federal. The states don't get a say in that, they just have to live with the ruling. Why am i ALWAYS having to explain how the law works to you?!?! Dude - you don't understand ANY science and haven't been able to present any climate science at all. Not sure you're in a position to be throwing stones there, Mr glass house
  15. How dishonest. See - the left has to lie and be dishonest to prove their point. A nickname or shortened name has nothing to do with gender identity. Gender identity issues are often an indicator of gender dysphoria, which is a serious medical issue. Are you trying to claim that if little johnny got a concussion it would be ok for the school to treat him and never tell the parents? Are you trying to suggest that a person's preferred pronouns are just a 'nickname' and have nothing to do with gender? This kind of twisted bullcrap is precisely why we need laws - left wing lunatics will justify their actions in the most ridiculous of ways if given a chance.
  16. so it would seem - you're clearly confused
  17. We're never forced to choose based on religion and we don't get along. I feel this kind of proves my point about your not fully understanding things. But hey - whatever delusions float your boat.
  18. Or to invite them to parliament tot thank them for their service. That's literally kissing the hands of nazis. Oh wait - that was the libs Of course there's also their actions - like when the conservatives declared the emergency act on peaceful protesters. That' was pretty nazi ish of them. Oh... wait.. STILL the liberals. Or when the CPC passed internet censorship laws - that's pretty nazi -esque. Oh.... crap... wait.. Hmmm
  19. Why don't you ask the first nations how integration went for them?
  20. Who are you even talking to? Every time i think you've gotten as pathetic as possible you find a way to prove me wrong. But sure - leftie types NEVER think judicial appointments are political *Cough*Kavanaugh*Cough*
  21. Well at the end of the day i think that it's pretty obvious that he gave too much weight to the idea that somehow if parents know their kids are struggling with their gender identity the parents will slaughter them in cold blood and burn their corpses in a pizza oven. Because that's what parents do. Meanwhile teachers NEVER abuse kids so they're perfectly safe being allowed to hold what is apperently black mail quality information over the kids. But - that's judges for you. With the notwithstanding clause being invoked that ends the debate.
  22. I guess that's your way of saying "you're right and i can't argue against you but it really makes me angry so i'll just spout bullshit" without saying it Listen carefully ,,,, At this time there is evidence indicating joe biden committed crimes. But while the evidence is substantial it is not conclusive proof. Therefore the committee and investigation and the effort to dig further into the matter to get to the truth is entirely valid. It's that simple. Sorry little leftie - i know it must be crushing for you but it's really not complex
  23. The fact is the day will come when conservatives get tired of playing by the rules while the other side doesn't and starts stacking political positions with right leaning people. Expect to hear a caterwauling from the left the likes of which has rarely been heard, and if it's pointed out that they've ALWAYS done that they'll complain about whataboutism
  24. He might very well. These two !diots know they're in the wrong. They immediately turned to attacking you and conservatives rather than discussing the issue. When left wingers get THAT smarmy and desperate it's usually because they really don't have any defense for the actions. Putting the law aside like that IS IN FACT a judgement about the rights of the parents. The judge essentally ruled that the rights of the kids to privacy was stronger than parental rights and therefore allowing this could lead to harm. He says it right here" Justice Megaw wrote that the public interest expressed by the government in introducing the policy β€œis outweighed by the public interest of not exposing that minority of students to exposure to the potentially irreparable harm and mental health difficulty of being unable to find expression for their gender identity.” That is a ruling on parental rights. It is a clear statement that it's more important for kids to be allowed to hide information from their parents. That it is in the 'public interest' to allow schools to keep information from or lie to parents. So Treebeard is - as usual - full of shit and doesn't understand what he's reading while accusing others of the same thing.
  25. How do you know that the judge DIDN"T rule that way because of 'muh feels'? Judges have their rulings overturned all the time for making bad judgements.
