  1. You started it sparky If anyone's making people out your way look bad it's you Don't hate me just because i'm better at insults than you are. Sorry you're getting angry about it - i was finding it quite amusing. If you don't want to get 'demeaned' don't demean any more and you'll be fine. If you do then be prepared for others to demean you back And i can't imagine why you'd think anyone else anywhere in the country would care what someone like you thinks of them That would be like worrying what a beetle's opinion was when you stepped on it.
  2. Well i think we've already seen your political acumen and knowledge is slightly less than that of a squirrel, so it's little surprise to find you wrong again Right now the ndp is bleeding to the CPC for that very reason. And that's multiple polls and multiple pollsters. Jaggers has done nothing since he sold his party for pennies on the dollar to the libs, and the libs have hurt the working class horribly. So the CPC has stepped in and scooped that position now and is entrenching. The average person wants to be able to afford a home, eat well on their paycheque, afford the odd luxury and have some hope for the future and the only party offering that at the moment is the CPC. It's also worth noting that the cpc won the popular vote in the last two elections. it was the elitist areas in ontario that put the libs in power. And now they're done with them as well. Tell you what - we'll talk after the next election and we'll see whether the ndp or the CPC comes away with the most seats
  3. Well they're unelectable. And so you have to ask the question - is the ndp a serious political party that intends to get elected to represent people? Or are they an activist organization parading as a political party? Either way they're kind of failing at the moment.
  4. The reality is it is extremely controversial and as i just posted there's more than enough to disprove many of the 'studies'. It's a sad fact that there is a LOT of money to be made telling people they are victims when they are not. There is a tonne of evidence to suggest that there isn't anything holding anyone back from a very positive outcome in either country. Nobody has it "Harder". There are people who will have one challenge or another. But by and large everyone has the same chances to get ahead especially if what you're talking about is a medium to high middle class lifestyle. The whole "you're a victim" thing is just an industry, the latest in snake oil peddlers.
  5. Not where they started this war. The people of gaza made a decision today. Not in 1948 or any other time but it's where we are. I hear that isreal is already floating papers about where to resettle the people. Canada came up of course
  6. @Hodad @Perspektiv https://ottawacitizen.com/news/canada/systemic-racism-data-canada Data on education and wages don't show systemic racism in Canada: study Lau said. “I mean, there’s always discrimination in society, but the idea that our institutions are rigged or set up in such a way to disfavour minorities, I think the evidence is not there.” Lau - that's a bit of a white male overlord privileged name isn't it? Probably bias. I doubt things are much different in the states. I suspect a deep dive would show that racism isnt' nearly as 'systemic' as they say.
  7. You gotta love it when the left tells you what you mean and how you feel in order to justify their cheezy narrative
  8. It's a problem, but it's deeper than that. the way our system exists, it pretty much forces developers to build slilghtly fewer homes than our population growth requires. So no matter how many immigrants we bring in we're going to be hooped as it is, But - increasing immigration makes it worse. And a sudden sharp drop would at least take the pressure off and help a little bit for a short time - the buildings already underway would still be finished so for a little while new supply would keep up with new demand. If you used that time to solve the deeper problems then you might get back on the road to recovery.
  9. So if they can't find a way to live together - one's got to go. And that seems to be where they're at.
  10. The conservatives often have been the people's party and have taken that spot again recently. The left has screwed the middle class so badly it isn't funny, and only the dumbest of the dumb fail to realize that in this day and age. Times are tough and when times are tough people turn to the tories. By the time the next election rolls around we could be looking at a tory super majority.
  11. Well of course you would - i mean you were going to anyway so.....
  12. Sure - Paper routes are absolutely a real job and they help build character too so you keep going little guy!! Oil? ummm ... i'm not an albertan. ROFLMAO - wow swing and a miss kiddo But - prior to oil alberta did in fact pull it's own weight in confederation and was hardly a burden. Wow - you were wrong twice at the same time! Very efficient of you How did you screw THAT up so badly? Ohh.... right... forgot where you were from for a minute there. Sorry. Not remotely close. You'd have to be 7 different kinds of stupid to think it was. If i have to explain the difference between a person who isn't even the prime minister saying that a province has an attitude problem it needs to over come to be successful and the actual gov't saying they'll collect people's taxes but they'll only spend the money on people who vote for them... well if i have to go over why that's different then i'm afraid you're just not educated enough for this conversation. Oh i think everyone realizes what a dumb thing it was to vote liberal or ndp. Even people as slow witted as the atlantics seem to have figured it out at this point I mean, your people are SLOW - but they're not THAT slow...
  13. True. And there's also this weird idea that only large groups face hardship and they all experience it more or less equally, which is ridiculous. Disabled people can face horrible prejudice and hardship. Dyslexics, aspberger spectrum etc all the neurodivergents out there can find the world horrifically challenging and frequently be discriminated against. Really fat people are discriminated against, etc etc. And all those can be white or male or both but.... sure, no white male ever faces racism or discrimination or challenges succeeding. We just don't throw pity parties for them.
  14. I suppose that's one way of looking at it. But don't kid yourself billy, if a deer ever got the chance it'd kill you and everyone you care about. (dun dun duuuuuuun)
  15. Two things can be true. Anyone who doesn't needs to ask themselves who the premier is. She had a perfect storm that should have taken her out of power and she dodged it. Don't think she's stupid just because she panders to the nuts a bit. It's not even remotely close to the same thing in the slightest. One is an opinon about the state of a region - the other is a threat that if you don't vote our way we will punish you and in a democracy that is utterly unacceptable to the extreme. A prime minister and the gov't are supposed to act in the best interests of ALL canadians, not just the ridings that voted for them The CPC likes you - mckay was number 2 for ages. it's the REST of us who don't like you LOLOL (Kidding!) Says the people who only live because the rest of us hard working people give you equalization hand outs and now tax breaks You're the political equivalent of living in your mommy's basement Call me when you've got a real job But amusing regional jabs aside, this issue will tend to resonate. The people who like the carbon tax will be very pissed at this, the people who don't will feel ripped off. The CPC will beat them over the head with it being unfair and the left will beat them over the head with it selling out carbon taxes and the environment. We'll see how bad it gets but i swear that guy can't go a month without finding a new hornet's nest to stick his head in,.
  16. "Smart people" is code for "brainwashed co-echo-chamberists" it would seem. You couldn't even refute his points.
  17. Tell me you have no political acumen to speak of without telling me
  18. Pretty smart i'd say. Ask the recently re-elected smith about that Fact is he'll probably win this one. The ndp federally is running scared for whatever reason and totally in the pocket of the libs so they won't stand up without permission from their master and justin is a bit of a coward. And this isn't stopping there - they really screwed up when they said that if the west wants perks it needs more liberals. That will come back to bite them. Westerners hate that kind of crap. John Ivison: The carbon tax is collapsing and could take Trudeau down with it https://nationalpost.com/opinion/carbon-tax-collapsing-and-could-take-trudeau-down
  19. Nope - it's old and irrelevant. Today isreal exists and is not going anywhere. The fact someone remembers a day when that wasn't true is utterly meaningless. Live in the present or die in the past. Unfortunately many many Gazans have chosen the latter it would seem.
  20. Yes. Wars are bad. Lots of people lose their lives and more have their lives and possessions destroyed. Whenever it's practical to do so peace is a better option. But that's not the option that was chosen this time. Are you seriously claiming that you know better than all the world's courts? Just because YOU decide YOU feel something is a 'crime" doesn't make it a crime.
  21. LOL - dude you vote liberal you could vote ndp but that's basically just voting liberal these days anyway. You won't be voting conservative regardless of what trajectory they're on ( unless michael chong becomes leader!!)
  22. The final 'logicl' of all lefties - You hate children and want to play hero and live in fear. That's all they've got. And then they wallow in their own hatred of others. Maybe they're afraid for people to have guns because they know THEY'D hurt someone if they had them?
  23. You can own a car and even drive a car without a license. You just need a license to use it on a public road If you want to give out licenses to use guns on public roads and you don't need it anywhere else then sure
  24. You'll take it as a compliment because you're a bit of an !diot,
