Did i say anything like that? If you lefties actually learned to listen instead of just making crap up you'd be a lot more likely to actually achive something on the file. Did you not just see where i noted fuel and energy expenditures were no where near as elastic as originally hoped? If it has no impact on climate they won't notice a difference in their lives climate wise one way or another. What they will notice is that they have a substantially lower standard of living due to excessive taxation and lack of productivity and they will have lost the ability to adapt or affect the climate at all. So if it is 'hell' - they're stuck with it because people like you couldn't get their head past an ineffective carbon tax. Snake oil con men who sold them a carbon tax as a solution to the problem. It's impossible to take you seriously on the issue. You litearlly wholeheartedly support something which not only doesn't work to address the issue but will severely weaken any future effort to do something else that might. I guess you were part of that 'uneducated electorate' you mentioned? How very self aware.
-
No, the purpose of the carbon tax is to allow liberal gov'ts to raise more tax money in a way that is accepted by a bunch of 1diots because they falsely believe it will have an impact. The majority of the money stays in the hands of the gov't. THe carbon tax does almost nothing for cliamte change. In bc it was found over the years to slow the growth of carbon emissions by about 5-10 percent. Slow the growth - not reduce it at all as had previously been believed. And the math shows why this is obviously the case It was originally hoped that energy costs would be more 'elastic', but they're not. So if we don't do it future generations wont' notice a difference. But it distracts us from having to do something that might ACTUALLY make a difference but would require work and might not be popular. So if anything the carbon tax makes things worse for future gens Don't kid yourself. You're doing nothing good when you pay that tax, and it's just plain lazy to think you are.

??????? Yeah..... that's pretty much what i said right? I mentioned god saving us, i'm sure i did..... You know - some places let you sue your mother for drinking while she was pregnant with you. You might want to look into that. Completely unrelated of course.

Shows her stuffing mutliple ones in, and anyone can see that. Except you who can't see anything you don't like. Better yet - what do you think she's holding the other ones for? You figure she just really likes holding envelopes and had no intent to deposit them? honestly robolie - we both known this is pure desperation on your part. THis is ballot harvesting - she shoudln't be putting in more than one and she obivously is putting in more than 2. Remember what i've tried to teach you - if you have to lie to make a point, it's not a very good point. This is why everyone laughs at you when you make claims about trump.
-
Well you have to write for your audience You're clearly petrified he won't. For the same reasons robodolt is. I understood to begin with. You're petrified that trump will delay or dodge the charges and win the next election and make them go away, and you'll have 4 more years of trump which in your mind is the end of the world as you know it. So you're trying to comfort yourself by posting this stuff like a mantra - "trump will get convicted trump will get convicted oh god let trump get convicted" Fact is he's got a very good chance of dodging it. Which is what's got your weenie bent
-
I understand everything Thats why you get so frustrated. You are petrified he won't be. Your whole life will be ruined if he isn't, and it's 'been 7 years of being disappointed. You're scared he'll get elected, become president, blow all this stuff off and walk away scott free with another 4 years in office. I get why - for 7 years you've been insisting that he's going to get arrested and convicted next week - and it just never happened. What if it's the same this time? OOOOOooooooo. It's not like you're all that hard to read bud. You're a very simple person. If someone can figure out ikea instructions, they sure as heck can read you.
-
It's pretty much as simple as that. No problem. If they had reason to believe it was a military target, but got it wrong, well that's the way war goes. But they still weren't targeting civvie's, they were targeting something else and turned out to have made an error. That's expected in war. The claims are usually very easy to verify. Well if we can't 'know' then we assume they are not. There's no evidence of it, and lets be frank - there is NO point in doing so for them. There IS a point in blowing up military targets. Sometimes mistakes will happen, ordinance gets away from you and hits the wrong thing, bad intel leads you to believe there's a target where there isn't, etc. War sucks But this really is simple. Did they have reason to believe it was a military target? Yes no? I can't stress this enough - war is a really really bad thing where a lot of people lose their lives who shouldn't. A LOT of people. It's REALLLY bad. Which is why we don't start wars if we don't have to. Gaza chose to start a war. Now really bad things will happen to them. That was their decision. Whatever israel has to do to win and eliminate that threat permanently is what they have to do. It's that simple, there's no point in thinking beyond that.

Try reading the law. THe helicopter ride was actually a crime. The RCMP actually considered charges and has stated outright that they felt it was a crime but that they weren't sure if the prime minister has the right to give himself permission to commit that kind of crime SNC was most likely a crime - but a lack of cooperation from the PM's people hiding behind parliamentary privilege prevented them from doing a proper investigation. "corruption' frequently is a crime. Proving it when the culprit is the pm is harder. That doesn't mean he didn't break the law.

HAHAHAHA - oh dear, triggered commie is triggered LOL - kid, we both know if you believed that you wouldn't get so emotionally wound up. So looks like you and Barbie BOTH have serious doubts about him going to jail next year IS that because you've been saying he's going to go to jail for one thing or another for 7 years now and it hasn't happened? Is that what's causing you to doubt now? I could certainly understand that

The last time swasitka's appeared on parliament hill Jaggers and Justin declared the emergency act and pointed out that's what you do when you start to see nazi symbols in protests. I'm sure they're just about to leap into action to condemn these people as well and have them arrested!! Right Justin? Justin? Jagmeet? Guys? .... (Side note i see the terry fox memorial got desecrated as well - silence from the left).
-
So - here's how that works barbs If you REALLY believed it, you wouldn't feel the need to say that. You'd just let them stew and rub it in when it happens Frankly i think the election will come before any decisions are made in court - but whatever. But clearly YOU feel he's going to get away with it and you're trying to desperately convince yourself while you convince others. LOL - careful - if you let trump stay in your head THAT much your brain might get searched for documents by the FBI

More tax dollars for the Native Indians.
CdnFox replied to taxme's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
well he did say millions rather than billions and it feels like you're trying to split a hair or two there. Methinks it's not I who is perhaps being slightly petty They'll derive a benefit from this deal. So he's "right" in that respect. I thnk that's a little dismissive of the deal without looking at it closely but they will 'pocket' money as a result of this for whatever that's worth -

CdnFox replied to taxme's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Ummm - you literally just said he was right, that millions of those billions will go for "compensation". If you're going to say he's wrong, maybe you should wait at least one post before admitting he's right? Just for appearance's sake? -
Not really. It's as simple as "don't aim for them, aim for the military target". Whoever happens to get hit is collateral damage. It's a simple principle. Attack the enemy target as if there were no people there. If there happens to be people there then that's unfortunate. But it's very easy to say if someone's got a legit reason to think something was a target or not, and if the way they attacked it is what someone might expect. This is VERY FREAKIN' Simple. The israelis just shot an ambulence. The world authorities went to them and said "why?" And they said 'they were transporting soldiers here's the evidence. Pretty straight forward. They believed they were using it to transport combatants, they shot one missile at the ambulance, they didn't carpet bomb the place or anything . Contrast that with the attack on the 7th from Gaza. You're taking something very simple and trying to complicate it and it isn't. The numbers proved you wrong chuckles.

No, the topic i raised here was that 'mail in ballots' and the like can be exploited for voter fraud AND voter fraud happens, and both stories demonstrate that this is true. The woman in the video certainly appears to be committing voter fraud by ballot harvesting, she's dumping a tonne of ballots into a ballot box. Sorry - i'ts not "two". The very fact you'd have to make that up shows you know there's something fishy going on here. This very strongly appears to be a violation of the laws and thus voter fraud. The other case involved the same sort of thing and was found to be fraud. So when people like YOU claim "ThErE iS No VoTeR FrAuD" - well yeah there is. ANd yes mail in ballots lend themselves to this kind of fraud. so - i'm afraid your belief isn't worth anything. Remember?
-
Ahhh yes - the common left wing tactic - when you have no intelligent response and you've been called out, instead try to downplay what was said and pretend they're "worked up" over nothing. Kid - I'm sure that kid of cheezy trick just slays them on the elementary school recess playground. Not so much here. You obviously did not. But hey - don't get so worked u up about it. I do. It's pretty easy. Determine if they had plausable reason to believe they were attacking a military target regardless of the presence of humans, determine if the means of the attack was reasonable given the assets they have on hand at that moment and the nature of the target, and determine if they stopped attacking once the target appeared neutralized. That's all actually fairly easy to do. Pretty much. There is always going to be evidence. "Show me why you thought an enemy general might have been in that hospital". If they can't, then there's a problem. If they had a reason there must be recon, photos, satellite, SOMETHING to say "this is the info we got, this is where it came from and this is why we came to our conclusion. Wrong question. "what is necessary to take out the target? How many died as a result of doing what was necessary?" - That much. Nagasaki and hiroshima killed 200k or there abouts but it ended a war that would have lead to millions more deaths. Mission accomplished.
-
Tribalism. We've become tribal. The far left has come to believe that they must all agree 200 percent with whatever positions "the left" have decided to take to the point of death. Right wingers can disagree. National and I disagree on various elements regading the war in ukraine for example. And we can discuss it passionately and we can both NEVER agree and still consider each other right of center and agree on a dozen other things. But - for the left, if you disagree you are evil. You are to be cast out and you must never be allowed to speak again It's like some of the old school religious horror stories about how priests would threaten to excommunicate people who disagreed with their church and cast them out of their communities. that's why. It's kind of sick.
-
Exactly - and the truth is Hamas and the people of gaza who supported them are absolutely terrorists, murderers and complete scum. They must be irradicated and wiped off the face of the earth so that they can never commit such crimes again.
-
If you choose to disguise your support as 'attempting to be understanding' then prepared to be called on it. Nobody believes that bullshit. I can understand the motives of a rapist but you'll never hear me say "well i understand why he did that, even if i don't support it'. I would say his reasons are invalid and he had no right to do that. See the difference?
