No, if people are coerced then by recognized legal precedent they've been forced to do something. And as noted there was much coercion. So it's not an inaccurate statement. The gov't did apply force to everyone eligable to take the vaccine. They didn't just ask. Now - if you want to try to argue that coersion isn't a type of force then be my guest but that's a hard argument to make. They don't need to - simply standing up on national television and saying "Those guys are terrible, Don't tolerate them they're a waste of space" is adequate to do the job. And the gov't DID do that. Soooo - when did britains prime minister stand up and say that anyone who's unvaxxed is a bigot and a misogynist? I must have missed that, point that out to me. Where did biden fire all gov't workers who were unvaxxed? Could you point that out perhaps? No? hmmmmmm, Yeah - no, Sorry but what you're claiming is untrue. And if you have to lie to make your point, you probably don't have a very good point

Truth. And as pointed out you don't 'troll' people by calling jews nazis. You literally did say that and i think we all know where the mental health issue is. Nobody jokes around like this. You very clearly hate jewish people and feel they're nazi's in the same way you consider pretty much everyone on the right 'nazis'. And as i mentioned this is common enough on the left, tho i have no idea why.

So - you haven't started any threads. So you don't have anything new or interesting to talk about. yeah that checks out. You've got 8 times as many posts here as i do, you've contributed nothing but to complain about other posters, and you bring nothing and add nothing to the forum. You think it's OTHER people sucking up the oxygen?

Nope. Check bitcoin lately? Anyone who bought before 2021 still has a profit and it's going up at a good pace. Soooo yeah - actually not bad advice. People who bought at the peak may have another year to wait but it's heading that way. Stocks and bitcoin, which are about the same thing risk wise for the most part, are one thing, .But a credit card is a guaranteed loss.

Canada wrongly supports a "two-state" solution for Israel
CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Every time you lie you make it more clear you know the palestinians are guilty. I haven't said a single positive thing about the IDF. But you feel the need to lie every time about that. And alll to doge my questions. Answer the question or admit you're just a jew hater who backs hamas -
Well there's a fair number of independent orgs doing research on it - you can always check them out. I don't think there's any doubt that the russians will take bakhmud but - what have they paid for it? In the last 3 months they've only advanced about a km and the losses have been bloody. We get less about what ukraine has paid, but indications are they've experienced a reasonably favorable loss ratio. Bakhmud is going to be a phyrric victory - the kind were you say 'a few more victories like that and we'll have lost this war'. We'll see. The ukraine offensive is just about due in the next few months or so and we'll see how that goes. well i think russia wanted that but wanted the whole ukraine back in the fold. And there is (or was) a certain level of russian sympathy everywhere in the ukraine. It was russian territory for a long time, there has been endless problems with corruption and scandal with the various gov'ts, some people like the idea of being part of russia. So i think putin thought that he could make a quick stab and gain control of the country and shoot the leaders, and then people would kind of say "meh - well, it is what it is" and he'd control the entire region including the pro russian ones. And that probably would have been true if he'd won. And it was close. I don't think he'd have JUST been interested in the donbas because he would have been in the same pickle he is now - ukraine would resist it and the allies could pour in resources. I think he just wanted to take the whole thing in a week and then nobody could have said anything.
-
I don't think it really shifts much. Now that its become an insult as well as a description people will throw it around when they're mad. And there are some people who will just abuse it, just like there's losers who go around calling everyone a nazi. But by and large if pressed i think everyone has roughly the same idea of what it is.

I haven't heard of any new ones well that's kind of mandated by law. Sure - there's lots of good politics. politcs that seek to unite, or to empower the people instead of empowering the gov't. etc etc. Or, y'know, govt announcements that they're considering something While i find the idea that "We can trust the liberals to be lying" somewhat believable, it's still bad politics
-
Wait - what land deals have happened recently? you mean the spending that's been going on forever? That's not really new. No, this is always bad politics. Dividing the people of a country and pitting one group against another is bad politics. Well - it would seem we're going to disagree here. I think ripping the country apart and dividing people is bad. You very clearly are more comfortable with it. I guess it's another case of agree to disagree.

Canada wrongly supports a "two-state" solution for Israel
CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Sorry bud. I've already provided more than enough proof to show Palestine does use it's people as human targets. Too late to provide lies from a bias source to cover it up now So the question again is why did you lie? And why do you support them given their crimes? Do you think it's ok for them to kill their own people? -
Well i think you're on the right page sort of. People can't pay their bills or get out of bad situations right now. And they don't have money. Politically thats a problem. So he's saying if you pay for school with a credit card so you can get a job that's ok. The problem is that it's not ok but he's making people feel like maybe it's a valid way out of their situation. that the gov't helped put them into. He also is worried about recession. He wants more spending to avoid it. But what he doesn't get is that this just fuels inflation and then the interest rates go up and things get far worse. It's just a terrible thing to recommend.

By 'We" - i assume you mean you and the other voices in your head? I haven't posted a justification of anything. Ive posted proof that palestine uses it's people as human shields and asked you to explain why you think that's ok. You refuse to answer. Apperently you're afraid that the truth is the Palestinains are the cause of the problems here. Why else would you refuse to answer? Did you want to explain why it is you support this behavior now? -
Well it's certainly A point - but the main point was more that we have a prime minister that's recommending it to people as a good choice. He made fun of PP for investing in bitcoin - which has climbed back up again recently - and instead recommends they invest in credit card debt as a better choice Why lose all your money when you can lose all your FUTURE money too!!!
-
How? Not really. Most of the time they don't even really care what the others are doing. Quebec might be an exception - and sure that causes a lot of problems but it's only one province. So - why turn it into open hostility with ALL the provinces? This is just bad politics and despite you saying you're not trying to downplay it, downplaying it by saying 'well provinces are always mad and this guy won't really follow through" is still downplaying it. This will make provinces far more hostile and will create far worse tensions between the first nations and both levels of gov't. This is far more serious than you're suggesting.

I haven't. I haven't said either side is good. YOU are the only one defending a side here. I actually said there's serious problems with both. you however defend palestine - and you refuse to answer simple questions like why you support hamas using palestinians as human shields? More and more you're convincing people the palestinians are in the wrong, IF they weren't, why wouldn't you explain these actions? What are you afraid of? Do you actually believe the isrealies are right? -
Awww poor guy This is pretty common - someone gets an inferiority complex because they see someone else as superior, so rather than address them directly they try to bad mouth them to others. Talk about someone looking for attention I guess i live rent free in your head these days. You don't seem to be able to stop thinking and talking about me Kinda creepy but whatever.

Well regardless of it's history, telling people to borrow to do renovations on their house at 20 - 30 percent interest is beyond insane. And let me point out what he's REALLY getting at there - "I know many of you got caught in the interest rate hike and can't sell your home for what you owe the bank. If you spend money fixing it up then you can sell for more, and the extra will be on your credit card which you can pay off over time". He's telling people who got screwed by his bad monetary policy that they can go into credit card debt instead of mortgage debt if they have to. Yeash.

Nobody's defending the IDF - i haven't even really mentioned them. We're talking about hamas and palestine - why are you afraid to answer simple questions about them? Why do you defend palestine killing it's own people for international support? Do you believe that such behavior is acceptable? these aren't complex questions and you've been afraid to answer them all along. Why is that? Are you ashamed of your position? Do you feel the isrealies are right, but you hate jews or something? What possible reason could you have? You realize your refusal to address this just makes the isrealies look like the good guys here. -
well making an announcement like this is indeed 'doing something'. It creates division and tension even if they don't take another step towards it. It's bad for the country. Fine, but in this case the meat of the article is legit. i feel you kind of are downplaying what the liberals are doing here. It's bad. Even if this is as far as they go. If that's all it is- and thats best case - it's STILL divisive and harmful. Having the provinces at each others throats is BAD for canada. Like - really bad. And this dumps a whole bucket of gasoline on that. There is NO call to be this divisive and tear canada apart like this.

As a rule he who holds the capital holds the country. It's a symbol, the seat of power, the nexus of communication, etc etc If you want to control a country control the capital. I think you and the chinese are probably the only ones advocating that right now Ukraine wont want peace especially before their next offensive. Russia won't admit it lost so won't be negotiating anything immediately. The allies are happy with russia getting drained and sucked dry so they're not going to push for it. I think we're a little ways off. Possibly but unlikely. THe poles won't do anyting to cross the US, and russia by that point will be too far gone to worry about it in the short term.

CdnFox replied to blackbird's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Of course - that's the whole point of hamas using human shields and putting rockets on hospitals. When the irealies shoot back civvies get kileld. SO - why are you refusing to answer why you support hamas doing this? Why are you in favour of them deliberately getting their civilians killed? Why won't you answer simple questions? What are you afraid of?
