Here are their demands, apparently. Being the POS’ double-talking politicians they are, they are simultaneously opposed to and insistent on tagging one kind of spending with another: Restore any member’s ability to make a “Motion to Vacate the Chair” and force a vote on removing the Speaker. Former Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), a founding Freedom Caucus member, helped propel former Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) toward retirement by making a motion to vacate the chair in 2015. Require at least 72 hours from release of final bill text before it gets a vote on the House floor. Bar House GOP leadership and leadership-affiliated PACs from getting involved in primaries. The McCarthy-aligned Congressional Leadership Fund was active in many House primaries boosting McCarthy-friendly candidates in the 2022 cycle. Increase the number of Freedom Caucus members in committee chairmanships and on the House Rules Committee. Decline to raise debt ceiling without a plan to cap spending and balance the federal budget in 10 years. Do not “return to the blind embrace of earmarks.” The practice of directing federal spending to a specific recipient or project was brought back in this Congress as “community project funding” after a decadelong ban. The House Republican Conference last month overwhelmingly voted against an internal proposal to ban the practice. Use “must-pass” bills like the annual defense authorization bill and the farm bill as leverage to secure conservative priorities and “check the Biden administration.” Create a “Church Committee”-style panel to target “weaponized government.” While McCarthy and House Republicans have promised extensive investigations into the Biden administration and alleged politicization of federal agencies, some, like Roy, think the plans do not go far enough

We have an elected, democratic government. It’s designed so that no single person can have all of the power. This small faction of 20 should not have all the power; they clearly do not represent the wishes of most of the American public. If this continues, there is a strong chance the Democrats will throw their full support behind a moderate Republican. If they can find one.

I don't think there is anything liberal or conservative about it. Here is what I understand: First, Santos had to be seated. The Congress cannot Constitutionally prohibit him from becoming a Congressman, but they can hold hearings and kick him out with 2/3 vote. Second, Kevin McCarthy needs every vote he can get, so he's not going to criticize the guy until after he's elected. Third, some conservatives have called for his removal and others have not, so we will see what happens. A 2/3 vote in Congress is not easy to get. The vote to kick him out of Congress should be unanimous.

Well, they got his tax returns in New York, put his CFO in jail, and the Company was just convicted of 14 felonies or so. I think it's clear that Donald Trump is a lawless individual. I don't understand why you defend it. There are many millionaires and billionaires in America, but Donald Trump seems to be the one who continually winds up in court. He appears to have created a business strategy of cheating people out of their money and then bullying his way to victory in court. I've worked in many businesses and every one assiduously strives to avoid illegal or legally contentious actions, but domestically and overseas.

First, thank you for agreeing that Hunter Biden did not break any laws. Pelosi and the Democrats managed themselves much better than the Republicans have. That’s not a “fan” thing, it’s a “fact” thing. And if you look at the demands they extremist Republicans are making, they’re insane. Basically: “We want every member of the Republican Party to have veto power over everything.” They are also making unconstitutional requests, such as term limits for members of Congress. The courts have already overturned such laws, because they violate the Constitution. This is why the Constitution had to be amended for Presidential term limits. So it’s insane to give veto power to Congresspeople who don’t know such basic things about our laws and Constitution.

You can repeat that lie all you want, but it won’t change anything. The elections were audited, reviewed, the Electors legally appointed and the Congress accepted them. Trump filed 64 suits and lost them all. He asked for recounts and lost them all. Republicans also lost the House and the Senate in that election, so no surprise they also lost the Presidency, considering their disgraced fraud of a candidate was the worst President in history. -

Federal Deficits increased in Trump’s first two years, EXPLODED in Trump’s third year, and was more than triple Obama’s highest in Trump’s fourth year. In Biden’s first year, he cut the Federal deficit IN HALF, and unemployment reached its all-time lowest level. The Federal Reserve continually increased interest rates in an effort to slow down extreme economic growth. So go ahead and tell us which economic metric you use to compare Trump’s economy to Obama’s or Biden’s. Obama inherited a nightmare banking collapse from Bush, and turned that around in an instant.

So according to your own personal, made up, make-believe definition, liberals are rounding up racial groups, gassing them to death and burning their bodies by the millions? Do you honestly wonder why people keep correctly calling you stupld? There’s a reason. -

No, you gave an example of a person who was both Russian and Nazi, not Communist and Nazi. -

You have not explained how someone can be both a Communist and a Nazi. -

In WW II, the Nazis fought the Communists. Over 20 million were killed. So explain how someone can be a Communist and a Nazi at the same time. Thanks. -

Dude, the flaw in the system was Trump. The Acting Secretary of Defense stated twice under oath that he was afraid to deploy soldiers because he was afraid that Trump would invoke the Insurrection Act and seize power.
