  1. Please read the thread I started about CRT, and ask yourself if the US Government or Supreme Court have always done the right thing.
  2. Was it a “far left looney” who released the social security numbers, or was it a small group of possibly overworked people who were asked to review over 1,000 pages of documents in few days who may have made a mistake? Maybe you think you’re Superman, but here in the real world, we have human beings and they make mistakes. It doesn’t make them loonies.
  3. Can you name one single employee of the agency that released the ssn’s?
  4. Critical Race Theory is a complex legal concept taught in graduate-level law programs. It’s usually above the JD level, and taught in some PhD of Law programs. CRT cannot and is not taught in grade school or high school. A short forum post cannot encompass it. But here is a taste of it. 1857: Dred Scott v Sanford established that black people were not “people” under the U.S. Constitution. 1865: The 13th Amendment abolished slavery. That should have been the end of Dredd Scott, and black people should have become fully equal under the law. 1866: The 14th Amendment established that all persons born or naturalized in the US were citizens and guaranteed equal protection under the law. Despite this, black people remained unable to vote in most Southern jurisdictions, and they were defined equality in most other respects. 1870: The 15th Amendment guaranteed the right to vote to black people. It should not have been necessary; if you read the 14th amendment it should be clear that all people should have equal protection under the law. 1896: Plessy v Ferguson established that “separate but equal” was Constitutional and it made nearly 100 years of brutal segregation legal throughout the South. And segregation was separate but it was never equal. 1965: The Voting Rights Act was passed to ensure that the 15th Amendment was applied. For the first time, black people throughout the South voted in numbers. These are only the most clear examples of how hard-fought laws were passed and subsequently ignored. A more thorough study shows how discriminatory practices in real estate sales, banking, employment and education discriminated against black people nationwide, North and South. So what is the purpose of CRT? The purpose is to educate legal scholars and future lawmakers in methods to analyze laws and policies to ensure that they are non-discriminatory, and that they close loopholes to prevent attempts at discrimination. CRT does not seek reparations nor to shame anyone. The purpose is to ensure equality, because it posits that when we base laws upon pre-existing precedents and texts, they enable institutionalization of racism.
  5. Why don’t you take personal responsibility? According to the article, “The Government Publishing Office (GPO), which was responsible for publishing the file, does not appear to have notified any of the individuals whose private information was released, the report said.” You don’t know the political affiliation or opinions of the people in the GPO who made this mistake. You don’t even know their names. So take personal responsibility and admit that you’re mistaken.
  6. The police are heroes but you blamed them for the riot.
  7. Dude, their entire purpose was “Stop the Steal.” If there were no Congress, the resulting crisis is whether the US military would obey Trump’s orders. Legally, he remained President on January 7. That much we know. Would he have remained in power past then? What we know for a fact is that Trump believed, and still believes, he should have remained President, and that’s what he was trying to do. So, yes, there is a possibility that Trump would have held onto power beyond January 20 if the rioters succeeded. For a fact, storming a legislative or Capitol building is how revolutions have happened throughout history.
  8. BULL! I quote you: ”If only they had done their job.” I’m not twisting your words one iota. You blamed the police for the riot. That’s BS.
  9. Well, the opening post in this thread comes from the US Department of Defense. Here’s my question: Why did it take Trump’s Acting Secretary of Defense a full hour and a half to agree to move the National Guard to the Capitol? Seems to me that he wanted to give the rioters a chance to succeed and he deployed the Guard only after it was clear the attempted coup d’etat had failed 1: 26 PM - USCP orders evacuation of Capitol complex. 1:49 PM - Commanding General, DCNG, Walker phone call with USCP Chief Sund. Chief Sund communicates request for immediate assistance. 3:00 PM - A/SD determines all available forces of the DCNG are required to reinforce MPD and USCP positions to support efforts to reestablish security of the Capitol complex. 3:00 PM - SECARMY directs DCNG to prepare available Guardsmen to move from the armory to the Capitol complex, while seeking formal approval from A/SD for deployment. DCNG prepares to move 150 personnel to support USCP, pending A/SD’s approval. 3:04 PM - A/SD, with advice from CJCS, DoD GC, the Chief of the National Guard Bureau (CNGB), SECARMY, and the Chief of Staff of the Army, provides verbal approval of the full activation of DCNG.
  10. If you beat somebody up in a bar fight, and that person dies the next day or the next month as a result of their wounds, I assure you that you will be charged with murder, not assault. Not making that up; it’s law. Those five officers died as a direct result of injuries they sustained as a result of attacks made to them on January 6.
  11. The leadership that refused was Donald Trump. They were calling him over and over and he refused to lift a finger to send in military or Guard troops which he commanded.
  12. 1) Can you honestly say, with a straight face, that the mob definitely wouldn’t have harmed a single lawmaker that day if they reached them? 2) If they occupied the Capitol Building and got all of the lawmakers to evacuate, preventing Biden from being named President, would Donald Trump have attempted to insist he would remain President? Wouldn’t Donald Trump have attempted to maintain control of the military and stay in office, claiming that the election was “stolen” from him? And wouldn’t that be an overthrow of the elected government?
  13. Riiiight… the mob wouldn’t have bashed in police officers’ heads with fire extinguishers, and they wouldn’t have bear-sprayed all those police officers and smashed all those doors and windows… if only the police were doing their job! You just lost a lot of respect from me. Come on! It’s not the cops’ fault that those people smashed barricades and engaged in all that violence. Trying to look at a frame by frame breakdown of Ashli Babbitt getting legally shot to death is pointless. The officer was properly exonerated. The rioters erected a gallows and said they would kill Mike Pence and they were screaming that they wanted to find Nancy Pelosi and “get her.” You’re literally insane if you think there was no reason to believe there was a significant threat to the lives of lawmakers during that riot.
  14. Biatch get plenty of compassion: “Ma’am, please get out of the street. If you do not get out of the street, you will be arrested. I will not give you another warning, if you do not more right now, I will arrest you.” The woman obviously wanted to be arrested.
  15. Hey loser: If a cop tells you to get out of the middle of a street, and then he tells you he will arrest you if you don’t get your fat ass out of the street, what happens if you keep standing in the middle of the street? Man, you guys are all about law and order until you’re the ones breaking the laws.
  16. I saw the video. They told that dumb biatch to stop blocking traffic and that they’d arrest her if she didn’t move. She wanted to get arrested and she did. Good for her.
  17. He knows all this. He’s just laughing at getting a rise out of people. Everyone knows that they’ll shoot you if you attempt to harm members of Congress or the President. The Capitol Police should have gunned down all of them that day.
  18. So now the US Bureau of Labor Statistics isn’t credible?
  19. What is Florida’s biggest tourist attraction, and what state did it come from?
  20. Mass extinction is already well underway. Most biologists acknowledge this. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocene_extinction#Contemporary_extinction Will this lead to human extinction? Doubtful, but possible. We don’t fully control all of the complex biological mechanisms which create life. My thinking is that the bee is the biggest threat to human survival. No bees, no humans.
  21. We all know what you think: “Caveman hate-um liberals.”
  22. Oh! I get it! You just make shlt up and create your own personal definitions of everything. In other words, you are very obviously an ignorant fool who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You do not understand what Communism or Nazism are, so you just throw out the words as insults in any way that suits you. Maybe if you knew what you’re talking about, you would find that people with different ideas are not so different. Instead, you just fuel your ignorance with hatred. Pretty sad way to live your life, to be honest. Hating people because you refuse to take the time to understand them. You must be miserable all the time.
