150,000 immigrants? Ontario got 185,000. The year before it was 200,000 Welcome to the reality of a Liberal government with a Quebec leader. McGill is certainly one - which your province is trying to destroy. What's the other? Concordia? A lower cost of living because of all the money you suck out of the rest of the country to pay the bills, you mean? I envy you. I wish we could. Unfortunately, we have a Quebec PM who says we have no culture and are not a nation. I proclaimed no such right. But if the Jews needed a nation it was to stop people from killing them because they were Jews. The French already have a nation. It's called France. You are not oppressed, son. Besides, if the rest of us can't be a nation why should you be? Used to live in Quebec. South shore of Montreal. I know all about the hypocrisy of Quebec and it's Francophone nationalists.

Has it ever occurred to you that parts of your religion are really dumb? Now, don't get me wrong. I'm a fair guy and willing to admit that all religions have lots of dumb things in them. Christianity included. But we in the West have managed to kind of weed out most of the dumb stuff and pay little to no attention to the rest. Most of our Jews have too. You guys from the more backward parts of the world have not. And that's why we have trouble with you. "My religion says I can't cut my hair!" Seriously? You can't cut your hair? That's the dumbest fukin thing I ever heard of. You have holy hair or something? Incidentally, I knew a sikh in college. Dave Singh. He cut his hair and dressed like a normal person. It's possible. You could do it too! You don't have to have a great big pile of hair up on your head wrapped around in bandages! Because honestly the rest of us think that's totally goofy. I mean, you want to wear special underwear, eh, okay. Whatever. The Mormons do that too. I don't have to look at it so I can pretend you're normal. But the hair thing has got to go. And I feel the same way about Hassidic Jews and their weird hair and stupid old hats. God did not demand you wear special clothes! No, he didn't! And the bracelet is dumb too, just less obvious. God made you naked just like everyone else. Whatever cultural or religious laws you follow about wearing stuff came from men. Old white men have learned a lot, have a lot of money, a lot of guns, and vote a lot.

Citation? You don't have one. In fact, Quebec told the feds they didn't want refugees and the feds obligingly shipped them to Ontario. And, in fact, even the ones who first get to Quebec soon drift west because they don't want to live in a backward province where their language is treated like their religion. Furthermore, the reason we have so many refugees is because of Quebecers, specifically Justin Trudeau and his open embrace of the world's rabble. You mean Quebecer Justin Trudeau doesn't want to control our borders. And to repeat, those refugees leave for Ontario soon enough. And your premier hates anglos and makes little secret of it. All these anti-English bills aren't designed to protect French but to push the English out.

So if 'chud' is the opposite of 'woke' does that mean everyone who opposes woke is a chud? Because... that does kinda sound like you given your devotion to noble white knighting. No it mustn't. And if Gaza were defenseless they would have already gone in after all the Hamas people. Unfortunately, it's not defenseless. You might have known that from the thousands of rockets they fired at Israel already.

Hmm. I don't suppose you'd welcome a little context on this narrative, would you? Well, I will provide it regardless. Mulroney inherited an economy in shambles in the midst of double digit stagflation. Both unemployment and interest rates over ten percent, with a forty billion dollar deficit thanks to Trudeau quadrupling spending. Okay. What do you do? You're now the boss. Do you drastically slash spending in the middle of a terrible recession? Because if you don't, you'll be borrowing tens of billions at sky-high interest rates. Mulroney did gradually cut back on spending as best he could But he wasn't able to go too fast. You mention Chretien reducing it, but you fail to point out Chretien ran deficits his first four years in office. He was able to reduce it only when the US and world economies turned around( and through the funds pouring in from the GST he had campaigned against), and even then through the kind of hard decisions people hate conservatives for - like slashing health care funding, education funding, welfare funding, etc. Harper ran surpluses his first two years, then came the financial mess produced by Wall Street and others and the world sank into another big recession. Harper seemed all set to just bull his way through on the strength of our oil industry but he had a minority and the Liberals, NDP and BQ demanded a huge economic incentive spending program more threatened to take over the government. They got what they wanted. However, Harper did cut his deficits every year thereafter until he reached balance.

Your analogy is deeply flawed. It's not one guy who can be carefully separated from the rest. It's thousands of guys who are deeply buried in the population and are getting aid from that population. Would you have banned the allies from attacking Germany because civilians would die? Would you have banned them from freeing France and Italy and other countries because civilians would die? Would you have banned Russia from bombarding Berlin? How many civilians died there?

Refusing to provide the food, water and power your enemy has not seen fit to set aside of provide themselves is not a war crime. Israel provided them with water pipes. They dug them up to build rockets. Hamas has gotten hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign donors. Why have they not built up any infrastructure with it? Because they used the money to build thousands of rockets and by thousands of automatic weapons and RPGs? Says who? Says Hamas? Sorry, not buying it. And bombardment is not illegal when an enemy refuses to surrender. It's been done in just about every war. Unfortunate that civilians die, but perhaps they shouldn't elect a terrorist group as their leaders, eh? So they can fight back as long as the terrorists are on their soil, but once they retreat to Gaza Israel isn't allowed to attack them? Have I got that right?

I don't think you have the ability to intelligently answer those who question your silly, whiny beliefs. Experts? Ideologically motivated experts, most like. There are few unbiased agencies left in this ideologically woke world.

This is the way Canadian politics work. Voters put in a left wing party that offers them nothing but cake and flowers which racks up huge bills and eventually the voters get worried and put a conservative government in to get the books in order. Once the books are in order they want their cake and flowers again.

Should Hamas support rallies in Canada be stopped?

Maybe if outfits like the Aryan Nations weren't a bunch of drooling, mouth-breathing sister lovers more white people would join up. But since most white people are sane and have a higher level of intelligence, and at least some education, we don't see much point in supporting, much less joining organizations run by the violent, ignorant dregs of society. The situation between Israel and Hamas is a war between the civilized and the barbarians. I put the Aryan nation types in the latter category. -

You want to see live video of women being gang raped and having their throats cut? TV doesn't show deaths, especially murders in action. Anyone normal would know this. -
Any evidence, any policies showing conservative 'suppressing brown people"? Or are you just talking about out of your ass? Do you mean he reacted to the economic circumstances he faced? If so, yes. If you mean he told you what he would do in the election and once elected he did it? Then yes. He didn't face violent opposition from everyone or he wouldn't have been re-elected with a second majority. He faced violent opposition from those who worked for and got their money from government and government agencies.

When Mike Harris took over one tenth of Ontarions were on social assistance and the deficit was enormous. He solved both issues, which had to be solved. He did so against the unanimous and sometimes violent opposition of all public sector unions (of course) as well as activist groups, many of whom were government-funded, and who lost that funding. He got the province's books in order. Many of the things people ascribe to his government, like cutting funding for healthcare, social welfare and education have to be seen in the context of the federal government of the day (Chretien) which was slashing transfer payments to the provinces even while downloading things onto their backs. One thing you can say about Harris is he didn't lie about his intentions during elections. He told the voters exactly what he was going to do and did it.

They will demand huge concessions or else will likely refuse to take on any portion at all of the national debt. In fact, they might refuse anyway, saying it's not their problem. We've seen their accounting games before that seem to have convinced the majority of Quebecers they actually pay more into Canada than they get back.

What we have in Quebec is essentially slow motion separatism, as the Quebec government takes over more and more powers and ethnically cleanses anglos and other undesirables from their population. There is little affection for the notion of 'Canada' among Quebec's Francophones. They want their own ethnostate where those not of the pure blood are denounced and expelled. There are those who think putting an end to religion would put an end to this sort of ultra-national chauvinism and hatred of the 'other' but Quebe demonstrates how silly that is.

I think they should all be shipped to Gaza. These protesters were from far Left Jewish groups. I'm sure that Hamas will warmly embrace them as brothers and sisters. Just like they warmly embraced those young Israelis at the 'peace' dance. Well, they warmly embraced the young women anyway, until they cut their throats.

Somalis prefer not to work, it seems. If compared to other refugees, even other refugees from cosmopolitan middle east countries like Afghanistan or African gems like Ethiopia Somalis stand out for their lack of employment. 81% of Chinese refugees are employed after five and ten years. For Vietnamese and and Columbians its about 71% It's 74% for Pakistanis. For Somali men - a meagre 41% are employed after ten years. In fact, the longer they're here, the less they work. They're the only group whose employment numbers fall from their first year to their fifth year to their tenth year. Maybe they're just all out selling drugs and shooting each other down in the streets. I'm given to understand they do that a lot. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/11f0019m/11f0019m2019007-eng.htm

And so? What we saw from Hamas was utter barbarism. The same sort of thing the Huns or Vandals might have engaged in centuries ago. Russia is very little better in some of the things it's done, but they too are barbarians hammering at the gates of civilization. Most of the third world wars are barbarians against other barbarians.
