That is not what they said. They said "the automatic payment system encountered a system glitch which prevented your compensation to be issued to your credit card." -

While I agree they should get paid from the time they show up for work ,like all other workers, I thunk a few facts need to be thrown into the mix for an 80 hour work month (by CAA regulation). Present pay: https://www.aircanada.com/media/air-canada-and-air-canada-rouge-flight-attendant-negotiations/ Air Canada offer: https://www.aircanada.com/media/air-canada-provides-clarity-on-its-offer-to-cupe/ -

First Nations Summit Ends In Disaster For Carney
ExFlyer replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This entire topic is nonsensical as no government anytime has ever had any success dealing with the indigenous of this country. The indigenous have become a welfare society with the great majority never having worked and gotten whatever they want for free.... and then complaining when they break whatever they were given. " 5% of the population identifies as Indigenous. This includes First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. In 2021, the total number of Indigenous people in Canada was 1,807,250, according to the 2021 Census of Canada". 26.5 percent of the population belonged to a non-White and non-Indigenous visible minority. Yet, we give them more than we give any other sector of Canadian society. So, to say Carney had issues with the indigenous is BS...everyone has problems with them!!! -
Does Canada suffer from the tyranny of the majority?

"You may be entitled to compensation or other accommodation for long delays, cancellations or denied boarding." I am not sure if you took this up at the airport when you were denied boarding and what they gate agents or manager had to say. -

I guess there is more to the story than what you are telling us. The T's & C's of your tickets can determine what you are eligible for. If getting full benefits require effort and it is wasting your time, well then, it is your issue. -
