Nope, never said it did...just putting things in perspective and to let folks see it is not a"Woe is me, I am Canadian and cannot afford to eat" syndrome and it is not all the liberal party fault LOL Considering we import most of our food... we pay what it costs. The thing to take away is the inflation is a world wide issue as is cost of living. Food prices are very high (in comparison to the past) in the entire world so, it is what it is...everywhere.

All overnight?? I think the thing I am trying to say is that it seems every ethnic MP seems to be getting the third degree about association with some foreign actors. A MP is invited to many many events and meetings with many different associations and people. They pretty well have to attend but, that does not mean they are secret agents for them. Ho was vetted and even parachuted into the riding by the Conservatives (that ousted the person that was selected to run) but when he decided the conservative vision was not for him and the liberal one was...he is immediately designated a chinese agent by the conservatives?? Also, lets talk "Chinese-friendly". We have been "Chinese-friendly" for many decades. We chose to buy things cheaper and allowed our products to be made in China so we would spend less. This is not a liberal conspiracy, this is all political party issue. Harper, if you remember, allowed the sale of our oil producers to be sold to china so... "Stephen Harper's government significantly deepened economic ties with China through multiple trade missions, securing deals in resources, agriculture, and finance and growing Chinese state-owned investment, like the controversial Nexen oil deal"

You are very wrong. Your graph below shows Canadians do not fear conservatism...they like it...the problem is with leadership. They do not like Polievere. Ha, blaming over 60's is a poor conservatives blaming some other than themselves. https://angusreid.org/federal-politics-poilievre-favourability-hits-lowest-point-of-his-leadership-carney-approval/

Yup...Canada is the only country in the world experiencing large increase in grocery prices due to inflation ...NOT!!! LOL We are actually quite reasonable in comparison to other countries. https://www.theglobaleconomy.com/rankings/food_price_index_wb/ https://tradingeconomics.com/country-list/food-inflation https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings_by_country.jsp?title=2025&displayColumn=3

And why do you think that is?? Is it lack of leadership of the conservatives? Is it because of unbelievable policy of the conservatives? Is it because of the constant complaining and whining and never helping Canada? Is it because of conservative "party direction and leadership"? Is it because the conservatives cannot convince all Canadians that the conservatives can govern Canada??? Seems to me that even if, like you say, Canada is failing and doing bad, the conservative party and conservatives themselves have to look inward to fix internal problems if they expect Canadians to choose them?

Funny take on things. Hippies generally stayed away from the cities as there were too many cops and even getting caught for vagrancy meant a free ride home. They came across a free border...there was no questioning going over the border, in either direction. They did make it into the Fraser valley, interior of BC and especially Vancouver Island. Most were draft dodgers. I am very familiar with them on Hornby Island, Denman Island, Quadra Island and Tofino where they became squatters and even homesteaders because I lived there in the 70's... You are right, it was not as bad as it is now but, we also had less than half of the population we do now. So really, the problem in Vancouver, generally the Downtown East End, was very bad, even back then. Oh and Nirvana never became popular till early 90's.

Nope, not at all. The real problem with you, and conservatives in general, for the past 4 elections is that it is never me/us...it is always someone else that is the problem. You have excuses for everything. You complain about everything. You blame everyone else. You even turn on each other. Perhaps you folks need to look inside of yourselves and your organization. But hey, blame me. Blame others. Call me names. Call anyone names that do not agree with you. Tell me I am wrong. Anything that will excuse you and your conservatives for failing time after time after time after time. Not being insulting to you at all, just trying to put some perspective to this.
