  1. I am not sure why you are "surprised", "shocked" or even "upset" at the governments stand on this. It has been Canada's policy since "Canada's core equality rights came into effect with Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms on April 17, 1985" There is nothing new about this all. As for "the public service should reflect the diversity of Canada,", well, you have not been keeping up but that has been government policy for decades. I worked there and saw it happening.
  2. Awww poor baby...LOSER baby too LOL
  3. I give down arrows to those that earn them. No fuss, no muss, just as I see it and it is all up to me. So, am I concerned about the feelings or opinion of an admitted pedophile? No, not at all. You are just a LOSER and prove it every whining and deflecting post you make. So, just keep proving you are a LOSER..., not being able to stay on topic too LOL LOL LOL
  4. blackturds post and link are American, MSN to be precise. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/jamie-sarkonak-dei-funding-exploded-under-trudeau-so-much-it-can-t-even-be-counted/ar-AA1Sh0hL?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=693d79a0516949aabe36fc3eb7ff0211&ei=9 Your link was a question in the house...not proof. Your new link is not new. As you should know, Canada has had equality and equity laws, rules and regulations for many decades. Nothing is new, "Canada's core equality rights came into effect with Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms on April 17, 1985"
  5. Awww... poor baby Loser still crying about LOSING.. Move on LOSER HA HA HA
  6. Yup. It has been using both for decades. I was in the Military in the 70's and there was both being used. Standards were lowered to ensure folks got in. Same went for Public Service entry. All Provinces have the same processes and procedures and the federal law is applied throughout Canada. Executive bonuses are not tied to equality and equity.
  7. Awww poor baby...LOSER baby too LOL
  8. Equality requirements have been in the Canadian government in the many decades I have spent in the Military and government. The new term of DEI is really just renaming of equality requirements. We have had diversity rules and laws forever. It is not one political party or the other and trying to blame Trudeau or Carney is being very narrow minded. Mulroney and Harper applied those rules too.
  9. Your quote and link is questions...not a report. As I posted, and even shady acknowledged, our "protections" are already in existing laws. We have no specific DEI initiatives or rules. "Canada has DEI initiatives but they differ from U.S. models and are not mandated by a single law, though they are supported by human rights legislation and policies. Instead of quotas, Canadian DEI emphasizes equal opportunity, fair treatment, and preventing discrimination based on protected characteristics, which are legally required."
  10. Yes, that is why I made the post. blackturds post is what I call stupid.
  11. FFS... Well, now that is the stupidest thing you have ever come up with. First of all "Canada has DEI initiativesbut they differ from U.S. models and are not mandated by a single law, though they are supported by human rights legislation and policies. Instead of quotas, Canadian DEI emphasizes equal opportunity, fair treatment, and preventing discrimination based on protected characteristics, which are legally required." So, here are no facts in your post...your link is an American opinion piece with rambling accusations. If you want to claim fact..prove it. LOL
  12. There s a "potential" but, latest poll I saw indicated 58% still consider him to be and remain the leader. "New data from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute finds a majority (58%) of recent Conservative voters want Poilievre to lead the CPC into the next election," "Poilievre remains a popular figure among the “definites”: 92 per cent have a favourable view and 75 per cent want him to stay on as leader. But those who are wavering in their support of the party have more doubts about his leadership as well. The “certainly consider” crowd are divided as to whether they want Poilievre to be the leader after January (40% stay, 38% leave), while the “maybes” want him to go (61% leave)." https://angusreid.org/cpc-leadership-review-poilievre/
  13. Crossing the floor is not new and certainly not a rare thing. "Switching parties between elections is a controversial practice. Still, more than 300 members of Parliament have changed parties while in office since 1867." "Library of Parliament data shows that over the last 25 years, 80 MPs have changed their party affiliation between elections" https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/article/switching-sides-a-brief-history-of-floor-crossing-in-canada/ So, the conservatives demonizing Ma should be an embarrassment to the morals of the entire party.
  14. I lived in the Lower Mainland for 20 years while growing up. I do not recall this much flooding. Then again, it was not near as populated and it was mostly farm land and the effects were not so harsh.

  17. Awww upset at the down arrows.... try not earning them LOL Poor sad sad little man. I'm your comrade again I see LOL "What does calling someone a comrade mean? Etymology. The term comrade generally means 'mate', 'colleague', or 'ally', and derives from the Spanish and Portuguese term camarada," So, thanks Etymology. The term comrade generally means 'mate', 'colleague', or 'ally', and derives from the Spanish and Portuguese term camarada, lit. 'chamber mate', from Latin camera, lit. 'chamber' or 'room'."
  18. Move on LOSER.... this thread has rin it's course and only you seem to need it for your ego feed. PP Le Pew scares no one except his MP's. He is like Trump with his circle. Carney may suck but...he is in charge and PP ain't I need no consoling, I know who is in charge and who is not
