Ahhh, there you are...back to your pedophile tactics. No, you never provided proof that any pure EV's are made in Canada ...because they are none LOL As for batteries...you forgot the rest of the sentence "Yes, VW, Stelantis and NorthVolt make batteries but for hybrid cars. Although Northvolt is in trouble and is shut down. Li Cycle,Lithion, E1 Moli, Umicore, GM and Ford have all shut down their battery manufacture. Some of them took government money and left LOL" Do you read what you post or does that junk just fall out of you? LOL Yes, you are wrong again but even pedophiles like you can get it right if they want.... -
Cut and paste form an AI generated response to the question if there are more agrifood workers than auto sector workers. You asked and I searched for the answer and gave it. Sorry if it hurt your sense of reality. Bottom line is the auto sector is Ontario...whereas farming and seafood exports affect many more provinces. As well, Ford, GM and Stellantis are closing plants, reducing shifts and moving from Ontario....that was before the China deal and even before Carney... they get relief money from Ontario and the feds, take it and bugger off anyway... why stick up for them, those workers are out of job.???
-
N ever once said they all grow canola. I said, and will repeat, agriculture and aquaculture. In Canada, the auto sector is self imploding with the American auto makers closing plants down and reducing shifts regardless how much money we give them to stay open. My quotes are from AI, I did not make them up but it is OK is for you keep thinking the way you do ...even if you don't get. it

Absolutely, your fantasy is hilarious. But hey, we all need dreamers LOL. Having difficulty with reality is always problematic for dreamers, especially when it smack them in the face Have a good day regardless Bye.

There was far more than canola in the agreement with china. In 2024, the entire agriculture and agri-food system employed approximately 2.3 million people, providing 1 in 9 jobs. In contrast, the Canadian automotive industry directly employed about 125,000–130,000 people, with a total, including supply chain and aftermarket services, of around 462,000 to 603,500 jobs. Breakdown of Key Sectors: Agri-Food & Aquaculture (Canada): Spans primary farming, food processing, transport, and retail, with 2.3 million jobs in 2023–2024. Automotive (Canada): Direct manufacturing employs roughly 125,000–176,900 people. Aquaculture (Global): Provides a massive, growing workforce that topped 22 million people by 2022. While the auto sector is a major economic driver, the food-related sectors employ a vastly larger segment of the workforce due to the foundational nature of food production and processing. You people are so hard over on 49K EV's from China. What not the Teslas which also come from China? We do not make them either?? " Tesla's Gigafactory in Shanghai produces Model 3s and Model Ys for both the Chinese market and export, serving as a major global supply hub, particularly for Europe and Asia, and for Canada" There was a lot more to the agreement than just Canol. In January 2026, Canada and China. reached a preliminary agreement-in-principle aimed at resetting their economic relationship and reducing trade barriers. Announced by Prime Minister Mark Carney following his visit to Beijing, the deal centers on a trade-off between electric vehicle (EV) imports and agricultural exports. Key Terms of the 2026 Agreement Electric Vehicles (EVs): Canada will allow up to 49,000 Chinese-made EVs to enter the country annually at a reduced tariff of 6.1% (reversing the 100% tariff implemented in 2024). By 2030, the agreement mandates that 50% of these imports must be "affordable EVs" priced under $35,000. Agriculture: In exchange, China agreed to lower or eliminate retaliatory tariffs on several key Canadian products starting March 1, 2026: Canola Seed: Tariffs will drop from roughly 84% to approximately 15%. Canola Meal, Peas, Lobster, and Crab: Anti-discrimination tariffs will be removed until at least the end of 2026. Steel and Aluminum: Canada will extend its tariff-remission program for certain Chinese steel and aluminum products through the end of 2026 to ensure domestic supply. Travel and Cooperation: China committed to introducing visa-free access for Canadians traveling to China. Both nations also signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) to cooperate on energy, narcotics trafficking, and food safety. Context and Strategic Shift This agreement marks a significant departure from previous policies. In 2024, Canada had aligned with the U.S. to impose 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect domestic industry. Prime Minister Carney described the new deal as "value-based realism," emphasizing the need to diversify trade partners as global tensions fluctuate. Reception Support: Agricultural producers, particularly in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, welcomed the deal as a critical restoration of market access valued at billions of dollars. Criticism: Ontario Premier Doug Ford and labor unions (such as Unifor) criticized the move, arguing it jeopardizes the Canadian auto sector and rewards "subsidized" Chinese competition. International Reaction: While U.S. President Donald Trump expressed initial support for the deal as a "good thing," other U.S. officials warned it might complicate the upcoming 2026 CUSMA (Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement) review.

It's OK LOSER...I accept your admission of defeat... no need to embarrass yourself further Whenever you are wrong...it seems far too difficult for you to admit it but hey, we all know you are wrong. LOL LOL LOL We do not make EV's in Canada, there are none in production ...suck up the reality LOSER Carney is admired all over the world as ba result of his speech in Davos...you are just upset PP is squealing like a lost little piggy HA HA HA Go and weep in the corner LOSER Done with you and the non existing Canadian EV's -
HA HA HA If there ain't any yet and fusion is still imagination...then yes, you lie LOL LOL LOL
-
I am sure there is exploring and there should be. My point was that one poster was making it out as if there was major activity and that is not correct. Oh and that fusion is green energy when " nuclear fusion can be considered a potential "green" or clean energy source because it produces no greenhouse gases, uses abundant fuel (hydrogen, lithium), creates minimal long-lived radioactive waste compared to fission, and is inherently safe. While it's a promising addition to future clean energy mixes alongside renewables, it faces significant technical hurdles, so it's not an immediate solution for current climate goals"
-
Actually, what confuses me is why you, for some reason, believe H3 is potentially an energy or green energy potential. And in particular when you say there is investment in its mining in Alberta and Saskatchewan. I do not know what question you posed. You seem to think there is huge investment in producing it when that is not true. " Helium-3 ( He3cap H e cubed 𝐻𝑒3 ) is not currently being mined in an operational capacity, but it is the target of active, serious development for future lunar harvesting" "Currently, the only source of Helium-3 on Earth is the decay of tritium from decommissioned nuclear weapons, which is in very short supply" " He3cap H e cubed 𝐻𝑒3. is not actively "mined" on Earth in the traditional sense of extracting it from natural geological deposits. Because it is extremely rare on Earth, it is instead produced as a byproduct of nuclear activities" I am sure by all the evidence folks have given you that it is a potential for fusion...when that even becomes feasible. I give you a lot of credit at time but with the H3 bandwagon you seem to have locked on something that is not happening.

Tsk Tsk Tsk...you cannot grasp that you are so far off you need road construction ahead of you LOSER LOL LOL LOL None of the models you named are presently being made... you lie and cannot get over your own lie. EV's are not Hybrids....as I have indicated. ""EVs, or Electric Vehicles, are vehicles powered by electric motors using rechargeable batteries, offering zero tailpipe emissions"" and Hybrids do not fit that definition. So as you say we "Can always count on you to Triple down on stupid" as a LOSER like you does regularly. -
Yeah sure...prove it LOL
-
What "excitement and investment" in H3??? Mining on the moon??? LOL
-
You do realize Google is not pro or con? It only responds to the question asked. You are aware AI does not choose sides? It also only looks at all data and provides a response. I cannot believe you are trying to blame Google or AI for responses that prove you wrong and you do not agree with Anyone can disagree with anyone else but to think and say Google and AI provide opposite views is ludicrous.

Look, your numerous and continuous anti immigration stance kinda pigeon holes you. Well, Carney is PM and speaks on behalf of Canada. It seems his speeches that he has been giving around the world are very well received.... with the exception of to Trump "President Donald Trump gives Mark Carney a firm warning to be gratful for America, saying Carney's speech yesterday at the World Economic Forum didn't sound too grateful. President Trump warned Carney saying: "Canada lives because of the United States. Remember that Mark the next time you make your statements." Trump is not held in high regard in the world riot now...as opposed to Carney that is getting kudos form many world leaders. Seems , without naming Trump, he is getting the message across. -

And...just proving that you were wrong...again LOL Keep up your fantasy...we do not make EV's in Canada. Yes...I linked but I also added "CANCELLED , PLANT CLOSED!!!!" Guess you could not read tghat far LOL LOL LOL "Yet again you take the time to prove me right. " LOSER LOL LOL LOL "General Motors (GM) ended production of its BrightDrop electric delivery vans at the CAMI Assembly plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, in October 2025" https://news.gm.ca/en/home.detail.html/Pages/news/ca/en/2025/oct/1021_gm-ends-production-of-brightdrop.html https://www.unifor.org/news/all-news/gm-brightdrop-cancellation-cami-latest-trump-policy-casualty Sorry LOSER...you FAIL again LOL LOL LOL -

Nope Hegemony refers to Hegemony refers to the political, economic, or cultural dominance of one group, state, or idea over others, often maintained through a combination of power, consent, and the establishment of norms, making its leadership seem natural or inevitable. It involves leadership through influence, authority, or coercion. Exactly what Trump has been doing -
I believe when I mentioned keeping your enimies closer, I was responding to you and your post about China. As I said, in the case with Trump, he has not stopped talking to Trump and as he is not talking back...he is doing the best he can. I think you should be aware that not all the US or Americans agree with Trump and his tactics and many of those that did are reconsidering. Unfortunately, he is the prez and seems to be able to do as his "morals" dictate (as he announced) .

Carney Articulates The New World Order In Davos
ExFlyer replied to Zeitgeist's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No need to spell out anything. The topic is Carney Articulates The New World Order In Davos. I, and it seems many in the world, listened to his speech and agreed with what he had to say. The discussion centres around what is happening today what to do today and how he articulated what the threats are today. I realize you have an obsession with anti liberal, with non whites in Canada, with immigration, with MAID, with drug use, with birth control, with abortion, with bible thumpers et al but, the world is changing and Canada is hopefully changing with it. I am not sure who you are calling "self righteous snobs ridiculing the traditions" but I am aware that traditions are a changing thing with every new generation making new traditions.
