A step in the direction you seek. Canada is imposing sanctions against Iran in response to its gross and systematic human rights violations, as well as a result of Iran’s grave and ongoing breach of international peace and security. https://www.canada.ca/en/global-affairs/news/2022/10/backgrounder-additional-sanctions-against-iran.html Canada on Friday said it would ban the top leadership of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from entering the country and promised more targeted sanctions over the treatment of women in Iran and the downing of a civilian airliner in 2020. https://www.reuters.com/world/canada-ban-irans-irgc-leaders-entry-expand-sanctions-2022-10-07/

Drax (UK): "green" burning of Canada's old growth forests
ExFlyer replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Then stop trying to imply that it was seen coming into Vancouver. Your exaggerations, misconceptions, uninformed comments lies and premise is the only thing tainted. From flying over BC, you cannot differentiate which areas have been re-planted either. You keep on about the cod....East Coast. -
Evan Solomon Radio Show ends today - phew !
ExFlyer replied to JohnnyCanuck's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Evan Soloman put everyone on the hot seat. Be it on his radio show or on his TV show, Power Play. I did enjoy him making guests squirm. Now, to where he is going.... I am not sure what GZero Media is. Left? Right? Centrist? -

myata, Peachland is 400 kms North East of Vancouver. You have great eye sight if you can see it LOL And, if cut, it is re-planted. Stop with the east coast fishing analogy already, it is starting to stink. LOL -

Know what you are posting myata LOL. You photos is of an area in Peachland in the Okanagan Valley on the west side of Okanagan Lake. Almost 400 kms from Vancouver. A lot of it for housing and recreational development and wild fire prevention. https://infotel.ca/newsitem/replanting-with-deciduous-trees-might-help-protect-the-thompson-okanagan-from-wildfires/it86546 -

Give it up myata, you could not be anymore wrong, mislead and, uninformed. You picked a topic that you clearly have no understanding of. You do not know what you are talking about let alone defending. Everyone here has told you that you re clueless about the lumber/timber industry about logging so suck it up and appreciate that we have taught you something. FYI, I am from BC, the lower mainland. From Vancouver and the mountains and areas up the Fraser Valley look fantastic. Lived on Vancouver Island for 12 years. Flew all over BC in a helicopter for a dozen years. I know what un-logged areas look like and I know what re forested areas look like. I can assure you , the forests are living well. Arguing with me is fruitless, I actually know the truth.sad you cannot comprehend it. You too quickly drink the koolaid and swallow it before you learn anything -
A real deflection attempt. Even for you, it is nonsensical. Did the jailed protesters have kids?? Were the kids, if they had any, with them? Were they celebrating anything with their kids (if they have any)? Interesting.
-
Thing is, it was a social media post by the bungee jump operator. The press was not bad, it showed a dad out celebrating his sons birthday. it is the unnecessary and derogatory comments that is bad. I believe anyone, politicians included, deserve a bit of privacy, especially if they are out with their kids.
-
It is one thing to hate the politician but a completely other thing if you include his kids. He may have earned your distrust but his kids did not. Very disrespectful and just plain asinine.

I agree and it takes anyone with a social media account to interfere in a personal family moment to make issue of it.

I did, I read your post twice before I asked... now 3 times What in my post is "mostly" BS? It is nice your family owned a big farm but I am not sure what relevance that has to my post? -

The problem with myata is he/she starts somewhere, get denounced, gets educated by others and wanders off to somewhere else (often to diss a ceo) then disregards those that do have valid information and try to educate him/her. Then blames others for her /his lack of education and reality Oh, that is what you meant LOL -

What is BS? I said "Canada has nothing to trade or sell except it's resources. " You seem to be agreeing with what I said. -

Dig it up yourself. Reforesting is going on all the time and is very successful 2nd and 3rd growth timber is being cut and used to build the houses you are living in. The only one in "dreamspace" is you. In your case it truly is "imaginary dreamspace". It astounds me how one person can be so wrong about so many things and will not go to the trouble to better themselves by doing proper research. But hey, that is you over and over again LOL -

Firstly, there are no 1000 year old forests. The odd 1000 year old tree here and there but no forests. Secondly, all cutting is "renewed". Re-planting is mandatory, as others have told you. Thirdly, "99.9% destroyed? Where did you pluck that willnot from?? No math required, only a wee bit of research. Something new for you I understand, but it does help maintain credibility....which you lose so quickly and so frequently. -
If you have to translate what you said, then you said it wrong in the first place So yes, you did say something stupid - again
