What law and or constitutional or charter rights were broken with that ruling? Feelings have no place or function or purpose in the laws of any country. Regardless of who is appointed, there are reams of legal proceedings that are are precedence. Your assumptions that they can just decide the way they feel that day is wrong.

I suspect your take is just because you have a bone to pick. About what specifically, I am not sure. I find your statement that "Often with no legal sense behind it." is just an opinion. I am quite sure that you cannot cite one thing the Supreme Court has determined that is not legal and has not been determined without legal precedence. The Supreme Court is not just the 9 sitting judges. There are hundreds of lawyers and clerks that come to the legal conclusions before any ruling or presentation. Yes, there are distentions but the dissensions are not on the general ruling but on specific language within the ruling.

Is our Canada a better place since 2015 . . . ?
ExFlyer replied to Nefarious Banana's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Over all, political partisanship aside, Canada is a much better place to day than before. Canada just gets better. People form all over the world want to come here. Of course, those that are politically dissatisfied want to leave. OK, leave...oh wait, you are still here? LOl I think that when any party is on top for a many years, they all become complacent and abuse their position. The leader becomes, in their minds, impervious and they rule as they want. This is not just todays liberals and Trudeau but Harper, Chretien, Mulroney and Trudeau Sr also became drunk with power and did what they wanted.. As much as American politics has become a sh*t show (ours seems to be following) the best part of there is they can only be in charge for 2 terms. I think 8 years is plenty and we should adopt that too. -
Lets throw the failed "agreed upon standards" blanket over Canada as a whole. All PM's have failed to meet them since the very first agreement. The Convoy had a issue in the beginning and it may have been valid but, whatever it became was so blurred, many, if not most Canadians did not agree as the polls indicated.. Lets be realistic here, PP has not done anything yet, he has only had a couple years(?) at the helm.. He is only an opposition member and can only complain. As I said in another post, my poll vs your poll (or any poll). If someone is going to use a poll for or as their argument, then be prepared to see other polls that may disagree. Polls are just personal opinions on a question at a specific time, right or wrong or indifferent. Never asked PP to release anything but, if a person want people to follow, they have to present some sort of path forward. Are you for PP simply because he is not Trudeau even if his ideas could be worse? Just being anti someone does not make the other better. Or is it just a partisan thing?

Time to get over old news dude LOL

Well, your poll vs my poll LOL. 46% "sympathize but that is not support. "46 per cent of Canadians say they “may not agree with everything” the trucker convoy says or does," https://www.cnn.com/2022/02/15/politics/fact-check-canadian-protests-polls-trudeau-support-oppose-truckers-mandates/index.html Sixty-four percent of respondents said they opposed the protesters’ demand to end all pandemic restrictions, 72% said the protesters have made their point and should “go home now,” while 22% said the protesters should “stay in Ottawa and other protest sites until their demands are met.” Being. a critic can be difficult. Criticizing anything and everything is easy. This forum is criticizing anything and everything and they are not even politicians LOL. Every mid election poll will show the opposition "gaining".

"Poilievre did not present a climate plan during the leadership race and has not signalled his intention of doing so in the near future now that he is leader, but has repeatedly been saying that technology, not taxes, is the way to reduce emissions" https://nationalpost.com/news/pierre-poilievre-plans-to-scrap-the-carbon-tax-but-will-he-unveil-a-climate-plan The "convoy thing" was a point. We all know what happened and a vocal few were very pro convoy but, the majority of Canadians (as polls a indicated) were not pro convoy and in fact against. Not in any way promoting Justin just agreeing that PP has not established himself as a leader. Being a critic is easy. Political facetiousness does not become you

Tsk tsk tsk. You have to do much better than that. There were none and are no lies... in your mind perhaps but not in anyone elses. You just like to accuse. You certainly have a perspective. Stick with it, it will further your reputation.

I don't lie, that is your domain. You have proven nothing. There was not a lie in the quotes you posted. Unethical?? Huh?? I could not care less what you or others call any political party. You posted proof of nothing dude LOL
-
Lie? About what? All I ask is for you to prove yourself and your baseless accusation and assumptions. If what you just posted is your defence, you lose LOL Seems you cannot prove anything, so much smoke, so little fire. Smouldering in your hearsay.LOL

Prove your baseless accusations.... go ahead, try. LOL
