  1. And the appeals will come. This has been going on for how long now?? "The beginnings of the softwood lumber dispute, commonly referred to as Lumber I, were in 1982, when the U.S. lumber industry petitioned the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) to impose a countervailing duty." And someone thinks it is over???? LOL
  2. Mellow out. If you want the shot, get it. If you don't, then don't. I am quite sure no one cares if you get covid, flu, RSV or anything else. What other people do is none of your business.
  3. Really? Poverty? How many rich athletes and rappers and entertainers etc are out there screwing and making babies and walking away. It is cultural.
  4. I agree. Trudeau convinced everyone that it was Google, Meta et al responsibility to vet and censor what it's users post. He was wrong and I applaud Google, Meta et al for standing up.
  5. Michael, I am not in any way telling you what is relevant or irrelevant. What I am saying, or telling if you insist, is that this topic is abuot single parenthood. The stats are stats, no personal or preferred or bias. Numbers are numbers. If you actually looked at the numbers, I did, nor did the stats say "dark skin is doing it" that is your perception. It only says 36 (or more) % single parents are blacks. And Michael, the title of the thread is "The basis for many of our societal problems is absent fathers" not slavery nor jewish insecurity.
  6. Michael, we are discussing single parenthood amongst certain sectors of society. You bringing up black slavery 158 years ago as an excuse (i am not sure why you brought it up), and Jewish sorrow claims of more than 2000 years (also not sure why you brought that up) is for sure deflection. Chuds (whatever your constant recent use of that term) have nothing to do with this discussion as well. I provided statistics....which you seem to disavow or ignore. Lastly Michael, this discussion is about single parenthood, not about truth and reconciliation.
  7. Jewish people will blame others forever. It has become more important than their religion. Stop deflecting Michael.
  8. 1865??? They have had 158 years since then to get their morals and $hit together but...clearly have not. Bad excuse Michael.
  9. I disagree, I think it is morals....rich or poor, morals do not have a skin colour.
  10. Give it up. Your pontification is wasted on me,
  11. Wrongheaded? Michael, because you do not accept the statistics I provided, it is wrongheaded? I did not make up the statistics. If you no longer wish to discuss this, you commenting and not expecting retort is confusing
  12. Ha Ha Ha What profanity???? Be specific. Your feelings being hurt are not profanity.
  13. Sorry, did not mean to disguise it. It was pure intent. Another religious rant by a religious fanatic. LOL
  14. Never said that Michael. Never concluded that either. You are playing word games again. I gave you links to validate my comments. Just because you don't enjoy such discussion does not mean it does not or could not or should not occur. As I said, I gave you links to validate my comments, no attempt at syllogism. Oh geezus...here you go again!!!!
  15. Not going to argue with you or play word games. My points were and are valid.
  16. 1. I was not "singling out", I was making observable comment. 2. We don't keep good statistics in Canada but about 40% of indigenous kids live with single parent. https://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2016/as-sa/98-200-x/2016020/98-200-x2016020-eng.cfm The US keeps better stats and up to 66% black kids live in single parent situations https://datacenter.aecf.org/data/tables/107-children-in-single-parent-families-by-race-and-ethnicity#detailed/1/any/false/2048,1729,37,871,870,573,869,36,868,867/10,11,9,12,1,185,13/432,431 Ha Ha Ha...me too then LOL
  17. 1.Your comment "Are you one of these eugenics people who wants to deny parents the right to procreate based on race and or income? " is more a comment than a question. If it is supposed to be a question, then it is backhanded. 2. 3. I am hardly "aghast", I was stating the obvious. Black (in the US) and indigenous (here in Canada) are the ones that foster the most single parent issues. D9d not once mention financial status, that is you trying to put the blame on money. Successful?? Now that is a comedic comment LOL Don't do darts.
  18. His question was valid. Your response is uncalled for. There are many wealthy non caucasian fathers that boinked and left the mothers. Fact is, the black and indigenous males are the majority of the problem (with permission of their women of course)
  19. I choose to understand but cannot read minds or intent. Clarity is not a aptitude you demonstrate
  20. As usual....your comment makes no sense.
  21. Well, I do think that governments, any government cannot do anything about society sexual activity. I do suggest governments cannot do anything.
  22. There is no way any political action will resolve this. The affected communities need to correct themselves, that is the only way. No amnount of influencers, no amount of community leaders, no amount of activists are going to change attitudes towards lifestyles. Am I negative about this? Yes. While we have these problems in Canada, the US is clearly the leaders in this societal problem and they have not been able to curtail or change it.
  23. Who said it was not happening?? The "scared straight" strategy has not worked so what makes you think it will work in schools? Single mothers are not making their daughters think about the consequences and no one is going to say or do anything about guys looking for and getting some booty. We already have social workers, community leaders et al and nothing changes. The whole thing seems ingrained in their culture. My point was no government of any party has done anything.
  24. I disagree. Social norms have not been adjusted in that in my lifetime (which is quite long LOL) the segment of society we are talking about has not improved, changed or gotten better. If anything, single parenthood in the black and indigenous community has gotten far worse. In the indigenous community, parenting by grandparents has been the norm for many many decades. Again, by saying "liberal minded compatriots" you are making this a political thing and but is not. Conservative governments, federal and provincial have also done nothing. Really, what can any government do about the sexual activity of any segment of society.
