  1. I would have thought that if he wants to be the alternative, an original slogan would have been chosen. Common Sense worked for Harris but defeating a horrific NDP government he could have said nothing to win LOL. Of course, Harris did not last his second term of Common Sense. I think if PP uses "We Are Not the Liberals" as a moniker, he would win too LOL
  2. This is the problem with Canadian politics. Leaders can stay on top as long as they want. We need term limits. 2 times and out. New blood is needed.
  3. Yes he reacted but in the second term, he was thought to be over reacting. He quit half way through the second term. 60% of voters said it was time for a change. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/harris-era-ends-suddenly/article25693296/ Then came the decades of McGuinty/Wynne and the Liberals
  4. All I said is that the "Common Sense" moniker is being re-used. Yes, Ontario had problems but so does Canada now. But, he won as a result of extremely poor leadership from the NDP (remember Bob Rae (and now liberal statesman) and his Rae Days) As you say, Harris did what he did but under violent opposition from everyone. He closed hospitals and cut programs all under "Common Sense Revolution" and to bring spending within budget. Is that what you want to see from Canadians as a nation, not just a provincial matter?
  5. He said.... She said. Misinformation, Disinformation and Propaganda. Bullets, Bombs and Rockets are not the only weapons in a war. No proof from either side.
  6. Who me? Hardly. I am not suffering. I do not have a book giving me instructions on how to live my life. I am a free person, not a brainwashed bible thumping robot. LOL
  7. I get you but, you have so overused Chud and Chudding, it is meaningless. I hope you don't think Chud has more than vague meaning. Back to topic, the NDP has become such a non offending group of people they are in fact, offending. They do not want to say anything that may pis$ off someone or some group that they just pis$ off everyone.
  8. Michael, your using Chud and Chudding is becoming pretty worn out. Like blackbird and his constant bible thumping. Time to let it go
  9. I am very proud of my service with search and rescue. I did most of my squadron flying on the old CH113/113A Labrador and when the opportunity came to be a member of the procurement team for the new SAR helicopter, I jumped at it. The Cormorant is so far more advanced and capable than the old Labrador, it was a huge step forward. The work it can do is so much more it is a great asset. The Cormorant is presently undergoing upgrades to make to even more capable. We are fortunate in Canada to have dedicated SAR squadrons and personel.
  10. So, what do you say about the Quran? Or Torah? Or Magra? Or any other book from any other religion?
  11. You think any government, left or right, is going to deny the climate issue (or global warming) and allow things to go back to what they were? I do not think there is a misunderstanding, people are aware of the issue. Terminology may differ but the problem is the same and known. I think carbon fees and climate action (or global warming if that term makes you feel better about it) will at the minimum continue but, in reality, will expand even more.
  12. Who is this reporter and who or what media does he work for. He is terrible. If he can be ,manipulated so easily and be so unprepared, he should be fired LOL I do not like the "common sense" moniker that seems to be the theme of PP's moving forward. It was a Mike Harris theme that hurt Ontario. Having said that, PP seems to be talking a page out of Obama's "how to be an orator" book and doing it fairly well at it.
  13. So? Just responding to a comment that what is "happening atm is the continuing struggle between civilization and barbarism." in the middle east and informing that sort of thing is happening at this time elsewhere in the world.
  14. There ya go. Just as I said. Don't like it, well, don't respond. You setting the record straight alright, straight as the road through the rockies LOL
  15. WestConMan is a bitter little person that cannot understand that his opinion is the only opinion LOL He resorts to lies and makes shit up to deflect his ignorance.
  16. What a cop out LOL When ya can't back up or put forth a real argument you make shit up LOL
  17. Just saying. that a declaration was made. The other guy made a comment and I only said Israel was the one that formally declared war. An incursion elsewhere in the world seems to be called conflicts. You may be very right....there has been "tension" since 1948 in that region (not even saying the previous 2000 years)
  18. Everything I said is true. You never set anything straight. You made rectal pluck comments that I debunked LOL You clearly don't like it but hey, the reality hammer hit ya hard LOL
  19. Just point out that Israel is the ones declaring war...for whatever reason. Using civilian and and children as shields is a well worn out conflict and war tactic from eons ago. Again, only responding to your "assumptions" and comments. Again, to reiterate, I am not choosing sides and will not say one side is better or worse or more or less to blame for what is going on. Trying to convince me by repeated posts otherwise is fruitless.
  20. You know that I'm accurately portraying the retaliation by Israel. You know that I'm accurately portraying the attitudes of the Hamas/Pakistan supporters. You know that I'm accurately portraying the attitudes of the Israeli supporters. What's bigoted about that? Does the truth hurt your feelings? Maybe focus on the actual truth and not just what you want to believe. The only ones, in this instance, that declared war is Israel. I responded to you answer when I asked "Are you attempting to rate the conflicts going on in the world this year?? One is worse than the other? " You said Yes. I gave you a list if conflicts this year where civilians were dying . So, based on that, I call you bigoted.
  21. I find your responding to be childish. I think our discussion has come to an end. You go and be you. Good bye.
  22. Ahh, so some human beings are worth more than others?? The other conflicts involve no citizens? The other conflicts are not full of barbarism, religious bigotry and cowardice? I think you are being a bit bigoted and doing profiling.
  23. Why is my opinion and my take on things so important to you?? I am concerned about your obsession with me and my thoughts. I suggest youblock me so I will not strain your brain
  24. I do not lecture anyone...if that is your opinion, so be it. LOL If you don't like it....so be it too. I do not care. You are not making any points here, you are just being you LOL
  25. Are you attempting to rate the conflicts going on in the world this year?? One is worse than the other? Hamas was the worst? Russia/Ukraine? Rohingya conflict. Myanmar civil war (2021–present) Africa comes second in the number of armed conflicts per region with more than 35 non-international armed conflicts (NIACs) taking place in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic (CAR), the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan. Asia is the theatre of 19 non-international armed conflicts (NIACs) involving 19 armed groups. These are happening in Afghanistan, India, Myanmar, Pakistan and The Philippines. Four out of seven conflicts: Russia is currently occupying Crimea (Ukraine), Transdniestria (Moldova), as well as South Ossetia and Abkhazia (Georgia), while Armenia is occupying parts of Nagorno Karabakh
