No. Pay attention Rue: I am stating that Zionism is a cancer. Like Wahabism is a cancer. Like Nazism was a cancer. I don't want Jews, Arabs or Germans to disappear. I want the cancerous ideologies to disappear.
-
Try to pay attention and focus: No one said you need to apologize for being a Jew. It's Israel's actions against the Palestinians which you apologize for. When you unconditionally support Israel's violations of human rights, you are not apologizing for being Jewish, you are apologizing for illegal and immoral actions.
-
Obama should stop supporting human rights violators. I agree. But you also forgot one of the biggest violators of them all, Israel. Your commentaries have no weight when you keep apologizing for Israel and Zionism.

Any stupid, racist, selfish ideology should be wiped out. This doesn't mean that people who practice it should be killed. Once again you're playing the victim when you're not.

The Nazis also practiced... Nazism. Does that mean it is okay for a country to say, "hey! someone else did it in the past - why can't we?!" Zionism = Terrorism- 147 replies

I'm glad you're no longer saying "internationally" recognized terrorist group. It's okay to be against two criminal groups at the same time. Just because they are enemies, it doesn't mean that you can't condemn both of their actions. (Not to say that I believe it's a 50/50 situation)- 147 replies

You are either a supporter of a racist state, which violates international law and violates the rights of a group of people or you denounce it. More and more Jews are denouncing Israel because they know and accept what they're doing is wrong.- 147 replies

When and where did the world learn this? You expect people to read your long winded posts but are unable to read others, and instead, put words in their mouths. I have said all along that bringing in a military is not going to solve anything. I agree with most of what you say in regards to ground force, but I reject using any type of attack. I don't like Hamas but I can't sit here while you try to muddy the water and pulling a Bibi by claiming that Hamas is the same as ISIS. It is dishonest to suggest this. Hamas is a group who is engaged in defending Palestinians. Some of their tactics, especially in the past, were obviously terrorist attacks, but they are NOT ISIS. They are not the aggressor. If you take the meaning of terrorism, the IDF can easily be considered a terrorist organization. Zionism is a cancer. I have, on several occasions, have said that other cancerous ideologies like Wahabism/Salafism are also dangerous to the world. So you, once again, were yelling so loud and typing so much, that you ended up putting words in my mouth. You are playing the paranoid victim again. I have stayed consistent with what I believe in. U.S. should not be going into Iraq again. It will be counterproductive. Believe it or not, I agree with most of what you say about how to engage this group. Except for the part of sending commandos in. No need for that either. Here is an article which touches on what I believe and what you seem to agree with: As a strategy to disrupt the growth of Isis, I suggest focusing on four arenas: How to make Isis fall on its own sword Degrade and destroy? The west should try to disrupt the canny militants into self-destruction, because bombs will only backfire Counter the narrative in online Isis recruitment videos – including professionally made videos and amateur battle selfies – to avoid, as best as possible, the deliberate propaganda targeting of desperate and disaffected youth. This would rapidly prevent the recruitment of regional and western members. Set clear, temporary borders in the region, publicly. This would discourage Isis from taking certain territory where humanitarian crises might be created, or humanitarian efforts impeded. Establish an international moratorium on the payment of ransom for hostages, and work in the region to prevent Isis from stealing and taxing historical artifacts and valuable treasures as sources of income, and especially from taking over the oil reserves and refineries in Bayji, Iraq. This would disrupt and prevent Isis from maintaining stable and reliable sources of income. Let Isis succeed in setting up a failed “state” – in a contained area and over a long enough period of time to prove itself unpopular and unable to govern. This might begin to discredit the leadership and ideology of Isis for good.

"Containment". The never-ending war and its cheerleaders. The sensitive Rude, Rue. Mention Israel and the snap snap circle begins: "Don't you talk about ISRAEL!" The military industrial complex is the winner here. They want these open-ended wars. They have a hand in the policies in the U.S. and they have a hand in the policies in Israel the same way: Pummel Gaza every 2 years! Test out those new weapons! Sell them! Make money! Peaceful times? Sales plummet Since 2000, when the second intifada broke out, Israel has had some form of military operation lasting a few weeks every few years: Defensive Shield (in the West Bank) in 2002; the Second Lebanon War in 2006; Cast Lead in 2008-09; and Pillar of Defense in 2012. In almost every case, new military technology or weapons were used – which had a positive effect on overseas sales. The numbers show that, after the initial period of criticism against Israel after the various operations quiet down, sales pick up. And there has been continuous growth in defense exports in recent years. In 2002, such exports were worth $2 billion, grew to $3.4 billion in 2006, and were $6 billion in 2012. In 2013, the three largest defense contractors all showed increases in sales: Elbit had annual revenues of $3 billion; IAI $2.65 billion; and Rafael $2 billion. At 15%, Rafael’s sales showed the highest growth rate.

When have I ever refused to admit Canada's complicity? I originally called it Western intervention, but since the U.S. government was the driving force, who also introduced the fake evidence, I mentioned them without naming every country who was "complicit". Let her go BC2004. Free yourself.
-
Not sure, why there was a need to bring Canada into this... again. You sound like a scorned ex who still hasn't gotten over being dumped decades ago.
-
Why is ISIS thriving in Iraq and Syria and not in other Muslim countries? Because of instability. Instability caused due to Western intervention. The Iraq War toppled Saddam, destabilized the country, and led to a wave of sectarian bloodshed. It also made Iraq a safe haven and recruiting ground for Al Qaeda affiliates like ISIS, which was founded in 2004. U.S. intervention is the major reason why ISIS is thriving.
-
They will not dare go into a country with stable military forces. 40-50 thousands crazies with guns could have been a real threat half a century ago, but now, with airstrikes from planes, helicopters and drones, they will just be mowed down. -1=e^ipi's attempt at making this a black and white religious issue is superficial and shallow. When you say Islamist, who are you talking about? ISIS is different than the Islamists in Iran. Al Quaeda, another Islamist group has separated itself from ISIS. Majority of Muslim countries have condemned and have vowed to support an attack against ISIS. Why is it that you keep evoking Foxnews style, shallow arguments? Also, to suggest that oil is not part of the equation in this conflict is totally wrong. These Western wars have three major reasons why they happen: 1) Natural resources 2) Military spending 3) Geo-political When there is a war, the biggest industries who put a lot of money towards lobbying politicians, benefit. These would be the military industrial complex and energy companies. Former president, Cheney and his buddy, Bush Jr. profited from wars. They went in, secured the oil, and then "rebuilt" Iraq, thanks to Halliburton.
-
But there are lots of weapons sitting there unused and lots more weapons ready to be bought to replace them. The military industrial complex does not like your reasoning.
-
Yes. You tried to make a point and failed. The point here is that U.S. and other Western countries, but especially U.S., forcefully remove dictators or support the opposition groups to bring down the dictator (who they have probably supported in the past), then claim that they're bringing democracy, joy, happiness, security, la di da, etc., But then they make an already shitty place and even shittier and more unstable place. Look at: Iraq, Libya and Syria for their most recent work.
-
I wouldn't. Those are just a fraction of countries in the world. Here is what the counter-terrorism official at the UN says: London, April 14, – A senior UN official says the threat of terrorism will be diminished in the Middle East once the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is resolved. Jean Paul Laborde, adviser to the UN Under-Secretary General for Political Affairs, said on Thursday that terrorism has deteriorated since the September 11 attacks and will not diminish unless the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is resolved. He rejected the idea that the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas is a terrorist organization and called for talks and dialogue with this Palestinian entity. “Hamas is not a terrorist organization in the United Nations…we should talk to Hamas because once the Israeli-Palestinian issue is resolved, the threat of terrorism will diminish.” I agree with him. This is who the UN lists as terrorist organizations: al-nusra front al-qaeda boko-harem ISIS Kata'lib Hezbollah Fully agree. Especially in the past when they regularly engaged in suicide attacks that targeted civilians. So have many other groups and states, including Israel who uses "violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims". However, when it comes to defining internationally recognized terrorist group, it's wrong to pretend that a small percentage of countries in the world represent the international community.

Jews who value human rights and free speech will help overpower Zionism. From the letter of Jewish students and faculty etc at the University of Illinois to Chancellor Wise, objecting to the firing of Palestinian Professor Steven Salaita: "Your decision to fire Professor Salaita is in fact what threatens us as Jews. By pointing to anti-Semitism and anti-Judaism in an attempt to obscure politically and financially-motivated University actions, you minimize the Jewish voices of those who have resisted real and violent anti-Semitism. By conflating pointed and justified critique of the Israeli state with anti-Semitism, your administration is effectively disregarding a large and growing number of Jewish perspectives that oppose Israeli military occupation, settler expansion, and the assault on Palestine. We did not survive ethnic cleansing and carry on the legacy of our people to have our existence used to justify the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, or their unethical treatment when they speak out against the murder, violence, and displacement of their own people."- 147 replies

The UN has declared numerous groups terrorist organizations, including Al Queda and most recently, ISIS. So they are capable if they see fit. They obviously don't agree that Hamas should be considered one. So to suggest that Hamas is an "internationally recognized a terrorist organization" is pure misinformation. Hamas is no angel group and has carried out terrible acts, however, their terrible acts come nowhere close to what the State of Israel has committed in the occupied territories and Lebanon.
-
That's not international. You have listed a tiny percentage of the 193 member nations in the UN. I for one, thought Hamas was declared a terrorist group by UN, but then I was corrected just like you guys were.

Kerry calls Netanyahu to protest Israeli appropriation of West Bank land The Israeli decision to declare 1,000 acres of land belonging to Palestinian villages in Gush Etzion as 'state lands' has drawn a deluge of international condemnation over the past few days. So what? Evidently the US, UK, and other European countries have expressed their "displeasure" with the Jewish apartheid state for stealing even more of Palestine - this means nothing to Netanyahu and his gang of armed robbers. AIPAC is already at work letting loose the US congress against the US president and his administration, while the AIPAC counterparts among the liberal Zionists are equally hard at work to keep alive the delusion of a "two state solution". Under which smoke screen even more of Palestine is stolen for them by their hardcore Zionists comrades in arms. This is the reason why I have always considered soft spoken liberal Zionists even more dangerous to peace and justice in Palestine than the right wing Zionists. The only solution left is the only solution that the triumphalist Zionists have paradoxically enabled: the active transformation of the Palestinian national liberation movement into a civil rights movement within "Israel" in its largest colonial context, and thus the historic applicability of BDS on the South African model to Palestine. The predominance and even steeper ascendency of Israeli racism makes it indistinguishable from white supremacists ruling South Africa. Today Israelis are not just stealing more of Palestine, they are also the paradoxical agents of "smuggling" more Palestinians as disenfranchised citizens into "Israel". The leader of this civil rights movement, its Mandela as it were, is already in Israeli jails, his name is Marwan Barghouti. I have always said, nothing could defeat Zionism, until Zionism defeated Zionism.

No. I reported you for once again trying to defame me by calling me a Jew hater when I simply mentioning Israel after your own post describing fascism: Fascism views political violence, war, and imperialism as a means to achieve national rejuvenation,[5][8][9][10] and it asserts that stronger nations have the right to expand their territory by displacing weaker nations.

Political Correctness Ignores Muslim rape gangs in UK
Hudson Jones replied to Argus's topic in The Rest of the World
You should keep your feelings about me to yourself. Because you are frequently wrong. I have no problem speaking out against anyone who commits any shitty act. I don't care what their religious background is; whether they're Muslim, Catholic, Jewish, etc. etc. I am mature enough to know that the acts of a group of people with a certain religious background does not represent that religion.
