  1. The PLO accepted the Israeli demand to recognize the State of Israel decades ago and Israel never reciprocated with recognition of the State of Palestine or its right to exist. Now, while still denying self-determination to Palestinians, Israel demands recognition "as a Jewish state" Recognizing it as a Jewish State, which is not required under international law, would mean the Palestinians would have to give up on the right of return of the Palestinians who were driven out of what is now the State of Israel 60 years ago. The only reason Netanyahu makes this demand is that he knows the Palestinians cannot accept it. The arrogance of the Zionists to demand that the Palestinians to accept it as a "Jewish State", when they have already formally accepted it as a State and while Israel has done all in its power to not recognize and not allow a Palestinian State to be formed is disgusting to witness.
  2. The above is an inconvenient truth to some. Thanks for reminding everyone that without the Jewish terrorist groups, Israel would not have been created. Many in the Jewish terrorist groups ended up joining the Israeli government and a couple even became prime ministers. This way, they were able to continue their policies through state terrorism.
  3. Hal9000 - If you are going to press reply and quote a post, your comment should be a reply to the post. The houses of junior and senior Hamas members are being bombed with and without children there and the IDF and their apologists say these are legitimate targets? Is there a Jewish home in Israel that does not shelter a commander who has helped plan or wage an offensive? Or a soldier who hasn’t shot at or will shoot at a Palestinian?
  4. By the way, here is the photo of Israelis sitting down, watching and cheering while Gazans are bombed Link
  5. The claim that Hamas is using civilians as "human shields" is based on the fact that Gazan militants live among the civilian population and keep much of their weaponry in the neighborhoods. But this is hypocrisy; every guerrilla army that fights on its own turf against an incomparably stronger enemy fights from among the civilian population. The pre-1948 Irgun and Lehi guerrillas would kill the British, then “melt back” into the Jewish neighborhoods. In Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan, there are civilian public buildings – including schools – with plaques at the entrance telling how they housed weapons caches and training camps for the Irgun, Lehi or Haganah. Up through Israel’s War of Independence, the kibbutzim were military outposts as much as they were civilian settlements.
  6. From what I have seen, rockets from Gaza are a response to Israel's actions. You can hold onto the false premise that Hamas sends rockets without provocation and for no reason but to kill innocent people, but one look at the timeline shows that these homemade rockets, which rarely ever kill anyone and fizz out before they even reach Israel, have been launched as a response to Israel bombing, killing, kidnapping and provoking.
  7. Just because they were democratically elected, it doesn't mean that they get a pass for killing people. What a strange argument.
  8. I'm sure it happens, but not to the extend that the Israeli PR tries to portray the situation to be. This was proven during Cast Lead where different fact finding missions by human rights groups and Goldstone proved that Israel indiscriminatory attacked civilians in the form of collective punishment. This is a war crime. You're hanging onto a repeated excuse for killing civilians. Not only has it been proven to be mostly false, but it's never an excuse to kill civilians. This is about Israel using this as an excuse to derail the unity government and to provoke Palestinians to respond. It's an old trick.
  9. Argus is either intentionally or unintentionally giving a false narrative of what is going on. He is trying to give the impression that it's Israel who is the victim of an aggressive foreign entity and that all it's doing is defensive. Israel will always give an excuse for not stopping the occupation, land theft and not allowing a Palestinians State to be formed. It used to be that Israel had to be recognized. Palestinians did that and accepted Israel along the 67 border, as it's required by international law. Then, suddenly, in the past few years, it is no longer good enough. Now they must recognize Israel as a "Jewish" state. That's just one of the slimy ways the Zionist marketing machine propagates and gives an excuse not to stop the settlements, the occupation and not to accept a Palestinian State to be formed. There is always a stupid excuse. The line in the sand is always changing. Netanyahu finally speaks his mind At his Friday press conference, the prime minister ruled out full Palestinian sovereignty, derided the US approach to Israeli security, and set out his Middle East overview with unprecedented candor. His remarks were not widely reported; they should be BY DAVID HOROVITZ
  10. I don't think Hamas will ever officially accept the state of Israel. But guess what, Israel exists, whether Hamas likes it or not. I'm curious Keepitsimple, how do you feel about the Israeli government never recognizing a Palestinian State? Not only is it in Likud's platform but Bibi has come out to say that he will never accept an independent Palestinian State.
  11. See how Israel "warns" Gazans it is going to bomb their homes and imagine the terror.
  12. The rockets were a retaliation to a retaliation to a retaliatio... Hamas didn't get up one morning and say, it's a good day to fire rockets! Your short term memory and inability to dig beyond the superficial information relayed to you, which you will accept and use without question damages your credibility. Israel should have learned by now that these one-sided disproportionate attacks have not and will not help their cause. They will continue to draw international public opinion against them.
  13. Let's be clear that accepting Israel as a state has been a requirement by international law but accepting Israel as a "Jewish" state has not been. Abbas' government has accepted Israel as a state as according to international law. The Arab League has also said that they will accept Israel within the same borders, if they agree to an agreement which is actually quite generous and gives Israel land beyond the green line. Obama, the UN and many other relevant states and organizations have praised this plan. Israel is dragging its feet once again and counting on perpetual war in order to continue to steal more Palestinian land. The Zionist regime now needs to be sidestepped as they are not honest and sincere negotiators.
  14. Or the civilians run into their own homes or go to a cafe to try to catch a world cup game and then get bombed by the Israel "Defense" Force jets and die. I'm sure you're getting sick of all these civilians getting blown into pieces by Israel. In the meantime, Israeli jets and drones have been carrying out the assault. Early Thursday, an airstrike leveled a house in the teeming Gaza city of Khan Younis. According to a neighbor, the Israeli military had telephoned the intended target, a Hamas rocket engineer named Yassir al-Haj, and warned him that his house was about to be destroyed. But Haj was not at home. He dialed his sleeping family but could not rouse them, according to the neighbor, and an Israeli missile killed seven family members. They were buried side by side Thursday afternoon. “Why kill everyone in the house for just one guy?” said the neighbor, Fahad al-Dali. Nine Palestinians were killed in an airstrike late Wednesday while watching the World Cup semifinal match at a cafe, according to relatives of the men. A bulldozer sifted through debris at the Fun Time Beach cafe Thursday morning in a search for the remains of a tenth person.
  15. No. Different situations and the treatment of the aboriginals by Canada is much different than the treatment of Palestinians by the Israelis. I ask again: What's the penalty of occupying land, annexing land and murdering those who are being occupied?
  16. Saudi and Israel are in bed together. Both of those would rather see bloodshed and fraction, as opposed to Iranian-friendly governments. ISIS is active in both Syria and now in Iraq and with the lack of support from U.S. and U.S.' refusal to talk to Iran to stop ISIS from growing stronger, it's very clear that U.S., which is heavily influenced by the Israeli lobby group doesn't mind the turmoil. It's been said that the U.S. would like to see Iraq turning into three states; Kurds, Sunnis and Shia's, with the oil still under the protection of the Americans. Russian military support for the Iraqi government ruins this plan.
  17. What's the penalty of occupying land, annexing land and murdering those who are being occupied?
  18. Which one of the 10 people who have been killed were as a result of PA and Hamas hiding in hospitals/ambulances/blah blah? None. You are regurgitating untrue statements that are used every time Israel kills innocent people.
  19. ISIS is a Saudi creation. It's so-called leader has now declared himself the leader of all Muslims. To me, the non-reaction by the U.S. looks to be a sign that the U.S. does not mind instability and fraction in Iraq. They prefer to allow the bloodshed to continue and to allow these extremists to expand. This is mostly to due with their relationship with Saudi and their undeclared ally, Israel. Israel would prefer to see bloodshed and instability as long as there are no Iranian-friendly governments in power. Even if those who are creating this instability and bloodshed are some of the most vile and inhumane, humans on this planet. This is why they want Assad and Maliki gone. They're too close to Iran.
  20. Your lack of original thoughts and mimicking of superficial, unrelated comments, released by the Israeli PR machine do not warrant a debate.
  21. I used to agree with what you are saying. Now, I'm not so sure. Would you have expected the Jews in Europe to show no response to the occupiers? Except for a few, Israeli governments have shown that do not care for negotiations. Israel has shown that it doesn't care for international law and human rights if it gets in the way of its expansionism and its treatment of the Palestinians. Just like the South African Apartheid government, Israel needs to be side-stepped. International pressure will continue to grow and support for the resistance against the occupier should be supported, as long as we're not seeing babies being blown up. Settlers, such as the ones in Hebron are the most aggressive and abusive zealots. They are illegally occupying land and should be seen as part of the destructive occupation that needs to be stopped.
  22. The so-called "targeted assassinations" end up killing students, babies and helpless people as mentioned earlier. 10 people, in which 8 have been children have been killed by the IDF and settler terrorists in the past two weeks. Israel only applies the rule of law onto its Jewish citizens. When it comes to Palestinian Israelis and the occupied Palestinians, there is no law. The law is either non-existent or the law is easily molded into not punishing the violations of human rights against the non-Jews.
  23. I'm not sure what you're talking about. You seem to be mistaking me for someone else. Watch the video from 3 minutes in.
  24. Here is an example of these settlers:
  25. Israel has killed 7 kids, arrested hundreds, destroyed properly and imposed a massive collective punishment as revenge for the kidnapping of these settlers. The Hebron settlers are amongst the most maniacal and extreme of all settlers in the occupied territories. A cursory look at their behaviour on youtube would probably explain why these settlers were killed in revenge. They are settlers, should not have been there. The cry of "civilian" rings hollow from the mouths of wolves. I can't join people who only condemn the killings of Israelis, while so many Palestinians have been killed before and after the kidnappings.
