  1. This is the only time I am going to address the fantasy you are trying to spread. I don't have time for your make belief world. You've shared a lot of links from a lot of questionable web sites. Nowhere you have proven the false information you tried to spread that Iran has bought Clinton. I mean, just look at this information you have given as your "SMOKING GUN", by showing how an Iranian-American lobby group (which we'll pretend is connected to the Iranian regime) has donated to politics: Compared that to the MILLIONS given to both Democrats and Republicans at different levels and it shows the pure fantasy you're trying to spread. Here is Hillary's Israeli Firster bankroller, Saban's contribution in just one year: Saban and his wife, Cheryl, are Hillary Clinton’s top financial backers, having given $2,046,600 to support her political campaigns and at least $10 million more to the Clinton Foundation, on whose board Cheryl Saban sits. Really? Check out the conspiracy theories here, from Saban himself: An extensive New Yorker profile of Saban recalls how Saban publicly described his “three ways to be influential in American politics” in 2009. One was political donations. Another was establishing think tanks (he founded the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution in 2002). And the third was controlling media outlets. Pro-Israel? YOU BETCHA! Controlling Politics? OOOOOH YEAH! The New York Times reported in 2009 that Saban was apparently part of a scheme before the 2006 Democratic takeover of Congress in which Saban would threaten then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi that he would withhold donations if Pelosi didn’t make then-Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., chair of the House Intelligence Committee. (In return, according to the Times report, which was based on telephone calls intercepted by the National Security Agency, Harman would lobby the Bush administration for leniency for two pro-Israel lobbyists under investigation for espionage. Harman denied ever speaking to the Justice Department about the case, but did not address whether she contacted any White House officials.) What does this billionaire who controls Hillary Clinton think, as according to himself? “I’m a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel.” On top of that, and Sheldon Adelson, the Republican bankroller, you also have the countless Pro-Israel lobby groups. Here is a chart showing Pro-Israel donation to both the democrats and republicans, which gives you a pretty good idea of the influence they can buy. 2. He is a TV personality who hit the jackpot with one of his ventures after selling to Mattel. It was called one of the most disastrous acquisitions in history. I used to enjoy him on Dragon's Den, but then he became too repetitive. Then I saw him talking business and politics on CBC and I have only wanted to avoid seeing him since then. Here he is debating a 14 year. He ends up looking pretty pathetic. He won't be able to take the CPC anywhere.
  3. Wow. Pure fantasy. Where do you get your bizarre information from? Really. Share some citation. Clinton has the one-issue Israeli billionaire, Saban, bankrolling her campaign. This is why she came out to be the most hawkish of all politicians at AIPAC.
  4. The liar is gone. No need to cover for him anymore. Tories left $9.5 billion in approved funds untouched to avoid deficit during election year
  5. Speaking out against the religious authorities, who continue to lose power, is a very good sign. Sending out the morality police is a desperate action by the powers who continue to lose grip over the society. This is a good sign: Rouhani clashes with Iranian police over undercover hijab agents Iran's president criticized the use of thousands of undercover morality police in Tehran to report on young women who are not wearing a full Islamic hijab or those who play loud music in their cars. Some 7,000 men and women officers began reporting such violations in Tehran, Iran's capital, on Monday. The head of police said the officers were not authorized to arrest anyone; they can only send reports of violations by text messages to police headquarters. Asked about the undercover morality police, President Hassan Rouhani said such decisions should not be made by the government and he would keep his promise to preserve citizens' freedom. "Our first duty is to respect people's dignity and personality. God has bestowed dignity to all human beings and this dignity precedes religion," Rouhani was quoted as saying by the news agency ISNA on Wednesday. Iranian police are part of the armed forces and supervised by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but the government has a say in their policies through the Interior Ministry.
  6. Why are you so selective in everything you try to present? You mean other religions did NOT take over land and convert by force? If reading is too much for you, here are some visuals that will help you understand: Click Here Our map gives us a brief history of the world's most well-known religions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism.
  7. Take it easy there with your selective outrage. I never said they don't imprison, torture and execute (not sure about the word "mass" and rapes (are you channeling Trump?), like they round people up and rape them). Those things are all part of violating free speech. All that aside, I think you'd have some credibility with your outrage of Iran's behaviour if you weren't always trying to excuse and justify Israel`s violations of human rights, which, in many aspects has been far worse than Iran. Before you go onto one of your selective rants again, it's a good idea to digest the following:
  8. Anyone who thinks Iran is an angel, is either not informed or is in denial. Iran has continuously violated the rights of its own people by suppressing free speech and sexual freedom. Whereas Israel has continuously violated the rights of the people it has been occupying for decades. Looking at the facts on the ground, it's easy to see that the violations committed by Israel against the Palestinians are far worse than anything the Iranian hardliners do to their own people. Israel has killed or injured hundreds of thousands of Palestinians. It has stolen their land and continues to demolish their homes while systematically annexing their land. The Palestinians lack freedom of movement. In some places more than others. Israel's violations are numerous and have been happening for a long time. There is a shift happening in Iran. The hardliners are losing their power. It's something that they have no control over. In Israel, the BDS movement is the reason Israel will have to change its course which will happen in the near future.
  9. Failure after failure. Is there a good example of them making a positive difference in a country? Perhaps it's time to change the foreign policy.
  10. His raw and genuine approach to music and performance is a major part of it.
  11. Who doesn't love to share music?
  12. Why do I need to explain the obvious to you, "Rue"? You can question Israel vs international law all you want, but it's clear to me and many others that Israel has violated international law repeatedly. People don't have the patience for excuses any more. Something needs to be done as our governments will not initiate this. The BDS movement is what we're witnessing here.
  13. There is no stopping the BDS movement and everything else that comes with it. We are witnessing something similar to what happened to Apartheid South Africa. UN approves blacklist of companies profiting from settlements Usually you would see the U.S., Canada, Australia or a European country voting against such a resolution. But no one voted against it. This is a huge step towards justice. Its most contested clause was that calling for the formation of the database. While European Union nations opposed the creation of the list, they did not vote against the resolution, electing merely to abstain. It passed with 32 nations voting in favor and 15 abstentions.
  14. Good point. That's a huge difference that should be pointed out. It's not "just a few billions", it's over 70 billion difference.
  15. Promises Kept: Pensions Canada Child Benefit Income Splitting Veterans offices and benefits First Nations funding Climate change Promises Broken: Balancing the budget by 2019 Small business tax cuts Stock options Promises Delayed: Veterans lifetime pensions Canadian Infrastructure Bank Source
  16. Oh and is this okay? Stephen Harper 2006 - 2014 - Debt: $541.9 billion - 12.6% increase
  17. Why is there so much crying and whining about a budget and spending that was promised during the campaign and now has been delivered?
  18. Good point. It would be political suicide. Look at the way Trump got on his knees at AIPAC. You cannot make the Sheldon Adelson's and the Haim Saban's angry. You must be an Israeli Firster if you want to be a U.S. politician.
  19. Happy New Year to all Persians/Iranians out there! Just a note that Harper also did the same. Click Here
  20. The Canadian government will continue as is, until the public becomes aware of Israel's atrocities. Here is an update on the arson attack that killed a whole family: Over the weekend arsonists set ablaze the home of a high-profile Palestinian witness scheduled to testify against Israeli settlers charged with firebombing the home of his relatives in the West Bank village of Duma last summer. In January after claims of heel-dragging that amounted to allegations of government officials providing political cover to suspects, Israeli state prosecutors charged Amiram Ben Uliel, 21, and a 17-year old unidentified suspect with three counts of murder, attempted murder and arson. As is customary in Israel the name of the minor was withheld by police. The trial against the accused began in February and is regarded by Palestinians as a litmus test for how Israel will deal with the growing trend of radical Israeli settlers. According to Israeli police Ben Uliel and the other defendant are members of a clandestine anti-government group that aspired to destabilize the state by using force against Palestinians, would-be hate crimes that are locally called “price tag attacks.” The town of Duma is in Area C, which is under the jurisdiction of Israeli police. Now, imagine if it was a settler who was attacked.
  21. Thanks for sharing that. Lots of Jews feel the same way. Here is some dialogue with the perspective that Zionism goes against Judaism from True Torah Jews: What is the solution to the problem of Zionism? We see the solution as being one democratic state with a non-Jewish majority. The Torah forbids a Jewish state, but a state with a non-Jewish majority would not be considered Jewish. Given the current numbers of Jews and Palestinian Arabs, the solution is already within reach.
  22. Who thinks that about ISIS? I don't think there is any confusion about who ISIS is and what ISIS does. It's not like they have a PR team trying to downplay their despicable behaviour. If anything, they feed off of the fear that they have generated on what they're capable of doing.
  23. So what? How many ballistic missiles does Israel have? How many nuclear warheads does Israel have? How often do Israelis, including Israeli kids write on missiles that usually end up killing innocent people?
  24. How did you get that my view is that Iran is a wonderful place and the rest of the things you made up? It doesn't look like that you actually read anything beyond the first few words and instead, you confirmed how your way of thinking and how you process debates is one-dimensional and superficial.
