Former Israeli PM on Israel's credibility + Fascism
Hudson Jones replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
Not all Zionists have the same beliefs, of course. Some though, when you read what they say can be difficult to distinguish from ISIS leaders. Look at this dirty radical Zionist, who happens to be an IDF coloen-rabbi for example: In response to this question: IDF colonel-rabbi implies: Rape is permitted in war Answering a question from a concerned reader regarding the Torah’s position on rape during war, Colonel Eyal Qarim of the Military Rabbinate wrote nine years ago – out of uniform – that ‘prohibitions against immorality’ are removed during war. "Put Britain First" - Right Wing Extremism on the rise
Hudson Jones replied to Hudson Jones's topic in The Rest of the World
You don't have to be part of a specific organization. Whether ISIL was happy about Omar's attack or not makes no difference in what terrorism is. It also makes no difference that CIA and FBI have already said that there is no link between ISIL and Omar. Dylan Roof made a political statement by going after a group of innocent black people he didn't know. He's not the only person who hates them blacks. Here is the meaning of terrorism, just in case you want to use your ISIL line again to try to tell us they are different: ter·ror·ism noun the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. -
"Put Britain First" - Right Wing Extremism on the rise

To me, it seems like you're in denial. Why is Dylan Roof not called a terrorist, but the guy named Omar is? Videos are fun to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB5GI7MBcL8 -
With Right Wing Nationalism rhetoric on the rise in the West, we're seeing more and more violent behaviour. From the Norway right wing extremist who killed 77 people and injured dozens of others, to the increasing attacks on immigrants, what's the right way to approach this? Jo Cox, a Labour MP was stabbed and shot by a man yelling "Put Britain first". Link

You seem to have confidence in what you say, but I highly recommend that you educate yourself on the geography and history of the region before making these mostly inaccurate comments.

Zionism's influence over Western politics
Hudson Jones replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
I love how Muhammad Ali is able to shake up the discourse even after his passing. I also love how we're being shown an example of how Judaism does not equal to Zionism. The atrocities committed by Israel does not and should not represent Jews. Here is one of the leading rabbis in the U.S., discussing his support for Muslims, his condemnation of discrimination against them and his condemnation of Israel's human righs violations against the Palestinians. Video Link As much as the powers (and their conditioned followers) want it to be, Jews and Muslims do not have to be enemies. There are a select few who benefit from conflict and that's why they push for division. They want to divide and conquer. Former Israeli PM on Israel's credibility + Fascism
Hudson Jones replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
Following the terror attack in Tel Aviv, who said these things? "the occupation is a cause of Palestinian terror" and "Israel may be the only country in the world holding another nation under occupation without civil rights." and “There is no way to hold people in a situation of occupation and think that they will reach the conclusion that every thing is okay and they will continue to live like that,” A self hating Jew? A Hasidic Jew? Another lost young Jew in the U.S.? A "crazy Jew"? A leftist, bleeding heart Jew? No. It's the Tel Aviv mayor, Ron Huldai, speaking to Army Radio in Israel. Ron Huldai is not the savior of the Israeli Left. He is, regardless of political opportunism, simply speaking the truth in a country where the idea that 50 years of military dictatorship might just have something to do with Palestinian violence is now popularly viewed as something akin to treason. And for that he is to be commended. Link -
Why is Israel teaming up with Al Qaeda?
Hudson Jones replied to Hudson Jones's topic in The Rest of the World
The evidence is there, from multiple sources. The UN, for example, has observed and recorded ongoing coordination between Israel and Al Qaeda/Al Nusra. Quarterly UNDOF reports reveal an ongoing pattern of Israeli coordination with those armed groups. According to the December 2014 report, UNDOF observed two Israeli soldiers “opening the technical fence gate and letting two individuals pass from the [syrian] to the [israeli] side” on 27 October. Unlike most fighters seen entering the Israeli side, these individuals were not wounded and the purpose of their visit remains a mystery. UNDOF “sporadically observed armed members of the opposition interacting” with the Israeli military across the ceasefire line, the report states. The next UNDOF report, released in March, notes that UN forces witnessed Israeli soldiers delivering material aid to armed Syrian opposition groups. “During the evening of 20 January, in the area north of observation post 54, UNDOF observed two trucks crossing from the [syrian] side to the [israeli] side, where they were received by IDF [israeli military] personnel,” the report states. “The trucks were loaded with sacks before returning to the [syrian] side.” The coordination between Israel and armed opposition groups continued into May, according to the June UNDOF report. So why would supporting the terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda and ISIS be good for Israel? Because: 1) They are fighting Hezbollah/Iran 2) It would solidify their occupation of Golan Heights Oh and lol @ this is being about humanitarian reasons. Israel and its apologists have no moral compass. Israel will do whatever it can to achieve its selfish agenda. This includes working with terrorist groups, kill civilians, violate countless international law and of course, lie about it. -
Guess what?! The PLO and the Arab League accept the borders. It's the Israelis and their dream of Greater Israel that doesn't accept the borders. They never really have accepted the borders. Not even when Israel was officially born. They have stayed ambiguous about that, just like many other things. Their actions have certainly shown what they're really after. From the Nakba, to the illegal settlements in the Palestinian territories. You either accept the internationally recognized borders and work to negotiate based on that, or it will happen without your acceptance. If the BDS movement becomes any bigger, it won't matter anymore in regards to what Israel decides to accept. The movement is turning into a big juggernaut that will do to Israel, what the international boycott movement did to Apartheid South Africa.

Why is Israel teaming up with Al Qaeda?
Hudson Jones replied to Hudson Jones's topic in The Rest of the World
Why do Israeli apologists get so mad when someone points out the facts? I mean, here is the former chief of Mossad, admitting that Israel has assisted Al Qaeda fighters, and then the apologists come swarming in here, attacking me with their usual hot air. Typical. I may not see eye to eye on many issues with BC2004, but I admire his acceptance of facts and to a certain extent his unapologetic view of Israel's atrocities. -
Israel supports Al Qaeda, a terrorist organization, which was behind the 9/11 attack and several other attacks against the U.S. and other countries around the world. Treating their fighters is just one of the reports that is coming out in regards to their support. Other reports indicate that they are sharing information and intelligence with them. I wonder how Americans would feel if they knew that their ally is supporting Al Qaeda. Interview with the ex. Mossad chief

Zionism's influence over Western politics
Hudson Jones replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
So if a non-Jew criticizes Israel, they are anti-semites and if a Jew criticizes Israel, they are CRAZY JEWS. I'm here to discuss politics with people who are able to formulate engaging thoughts. I have no patience for low level intellect, bigotry and rude behaviour anymore. You're now on the block/ignore list.- 259 replies

You mean a one-state solution where the natives will be able to vote and have equal rights? Glad to see you're into that. Bring it on. -
Zionism's influence over Western politics
Hudson Jones replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
I should have said "many Jews". This is not based on speaking for anyone. Many Jews are speaking out on their own behalf. I am just relaying the uncomfortable message to deniers like you. This is based on the increasing voices of Jews, especially young Jews, who are speaking out against Israel's policies (known to Zionists as anti-semitism). This is another reason why Adelson, Saban and other Zionist billionaire/millionaires are throwing so much money into campuses, because they see the increasing number of Jewish critiques of Israel as a threat to the status and the hasbara machine. Like Ben Berman, Clark University: During my transition from high school to college, I became very disillusioned the more I learned about the past and current crimes of the State of Israel against the Palestinians and Bedouins. The narratives of the centuries-long history of anti-Semitism and of the larger conflicts between Israel and several other Middle Eastern states had long kept Israel’s own violations of basic human and Jewish values hidden from me. As I educated myself more about the Zionist project’s ongoing confiscation of Palestinian Arabs’ homes, land and resources, I concluded that even if many early Zionists never intended to commit such structural oppression, Jews today are obligated to stand against injustice — especially when it’s being committed by some of our own. Zionism's influence over Western politics
Hudson Jones replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
As much as the Jewish population in Israel continues to become more radical and nationalistic, Jews living outside of Israel are having a hard time relating to Israel and its human rights violations. I think this is more to do with how easy information is available. The shift and increase of Jews criticizing Israel happened around the time when the two Jewish academics wrote the book: The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt. Besides them, there are of course many other prominent Jews who speak out against Israel's brutal behaviour, like, Noam Chomsky, Richard Silverstein, Philip Weiss, Max Blumenthal, Naomi Klein and thousands of others. There are also groups, like Jewish Voice of Peace, which has been able to take large steps against Israel's aggression. Here is part of a very good article, which gives you some insight into the shift of how, mostly young Jews are questioning what they've been pushed to think and say: Why I am an Anti-Zionist Jew At 19, at the time of a university occupation against Operation Cast Lead, I found out for the first time that many people thought Zionism was wrong, that massacring the people living in Gaza could not be justified as self-defense. I was shocked, then angry, then upset. A combination of revisionist history and group mentality maintains a significant Zionist consensus among Diaspora Jews – we see Palestinians living in poverty, their families killed and their homes destroyed, and are told that this is because Hamas does not care for its own people...unlike Israel. Operation Protective Edge, in which over 1900 Palestinians and nearly 70 Israelis have now been killed, is just the most recent, inevitable consequence of a brutal, militaristically-advanced settler-colonial occupation encroaching on the lives and lands of a subjugated people – using a 30-foot wall, settlements, missiles, tanks and the withholding of basic human necessities to perpetrate continued domination. This form of militarism is not specific to Israel – the Islamic State, the treatment of Native Americans in the USA, and South African apartheid bear comparison - but that doesn't make it any more defensible. People arguing in favour of Israel often play on its relative democracy and tolerance, its status as a beacon of enlightenment in the savage east. But Israel today is obsessed with ethnic purity – its more totalitarian policies strategically enacted out of sight of Tel Aviv's bougie bars and beaches.- 259 replies

Same census that DOP is holding onto desperately says that there were 9252 Jews living in Iran in 2006, which is much lower than the other estimates from the Jewish MP and US State Department. The census is based on "self reporting". It all depends on where you look, but it's obvious that the population is much higher The 2011 Iranian census recorded 8,756 Jews, down from 9,252 in 2006. This is based on self-reporting so is probably an underestimate. See Page on unfpa.org. The US Department of State estimated the population at 20,000-25,000 in 2009. See Page on state.gov. The Tehran Jewish Committee estimates the population at 25,000-30,000. See Iranian Jews Whichever it is, the Iranian Jewish population is certainly one of the two largest Jewish populations in the Muslim world (the other being Turkey, with around 17,000 Jews). Iran has a diverse population. There are many ethnicities and people with various religious background. There are some who are discriminated against by the Mullahs based on their religions. Those are people whose religions were established after Islam. One being Bahai's. One of my good friends is a Persian Bahai whose family escaped from Iran in the 90's. That said, Persian Jews are treated like any other person in Iran. They can participate in politics and do anything any other Iranian could do, including purchasing property in any part of Iran. This is more than what Palestinians can do in Israel who are not allowed to purchase property anywhere in Israel. (Note another case of the Zionist apologists dripping with hypocrisy.)

I know what I am and you keep failing to produce any examples of who you think I am. So either show examples, or I will report you for defamation. we owe our children to preserve what we made for them, not to bury it in a mass of illiterate foreign goat herders who have no job skills, will never pay any taxes The above comment is bigoted. If you fail to see how stereotyping a group of people and calling them "mass of illiterate foreign goat herders with no job skills and will never pay taxes" is not bigoted, then both your parents and our school system have failed you (or you have failed them). Here is the link to your post, bigot:
-
We have many differences. For example: You call me an anti-semite and fail to produce any examples where an anti-semite comment has been made, while I call you a bigot and produce comments where you fully expose yourself as a bigot, like this: No, we owe our children to preserve what we made for them, not to bury it in a mass of illiterate foreign goat herders who have no job skills, will never pay any taxes Go ahead, defend that comment like a bigot would.
-
Uh, you didn't answer the question and went to your anti-semite card again. Stop being so hopelessly predictable. Besides Syria, let me know which one of the neighbours has killed, injured and displaced as many people as Israel has. It's time to stop pretending Israel is anything but a rogue state that brutalizes anyone who is not one of them.

300,000 more refugees coming to Canada.
Hudson Jones replied to taxme's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's being caused by how we're creating energy and our inability to move fast enough to let go of the bad ideas and adopting the good ideas. It sounds like that you've moved on from denying climate change is happening. That's good, I guess. -
I would say some day you might find empathy and not mind part of your taxes going those who are in need, but then, why should we pretend that's a possibility? You must get out, right? Is it weird for you to deal with non-white people? Do your palms sweat? Ever blurt out some of the bigoted comments you make on the forums towards them foreigners?

Besides Syria, which of the neighbours are treating people the way Israel is treating the Palestinians? Get real.

Hilarious. Here are some of them: * which war crime is your favorite hobby? #AskNetanyahu * #AskNetanyahu How can you have a Democracy and Apartheid coexist at the same moment? * Does it bother you that history will remember you as a racist, war criminal and mass murderer? #AskNetanyahu * Why did Israeli soldiers, in their own words, "shoot at random civilian targets, just for fun", during the 2014 Gaza war? #AskNetanyahu * Did the Mufti make you make this hashtag? #AskNetanyahu * Which part of your job is more satisfying? Blowing up kids in your concentration camp or torturing kids in your jails? #AskNetanyahu- 259 replies

Still does not excuse their brutal treatment of the Palestinians and their ongoing violations of international law and human rights. It's like trying to excuse Catholic priests who rape little boys because they partake in bingo charity events to raise money for the city. By the way... BY THE WAY: Deputy IDF chief: Israeli societal trends akin to pre-Holocaust Europe Yair Golan warns of growing callousness, indifference to others, says only national self-reflection will serve as ‘a true memorial’ to Nazi victims Another "Jew hater".
