You are correct. Capitalism is reacting to global events exactly how it is expected to. The problem is, like Communism, without checks and balances Capitalism becomes destructive. No economic or political system can exist to the benefit of all people, without checks and balances. Raw Capitalism is as destructive and raw Communism. Now if we could just get the politicians to re-learn that simple truth and re-visit cooperation and compromise...we wouldn't have nearly half as many of these types of issue.

When Crimea had its referendum to become independent from the very newly formed Ukraine, so did the Donbas region. The Ukrainians couldn't do anything about Crimea for a number of reasons, but they made use of the Neo-Nazi Azov battalion and sent them to war against the people of the Donbas. Over the next decade or so, the Donbas saw horrific slaughters and gross acts of destruction and murder at the hands of these Azovs...bank rolled and supported by...the Ukrainian government. The western nations sat idly by and said nothing...did nothing. This little war is none of our business and when simpletons boil this down to a single issue, they are as guilty as Russia, Ukraine and the western nations. The Vietnam war was just a part of the overall Cold War with the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union eventually failed. Thus America won the Vietnam war. Complete and utter BULLSHIT! The USA LOST that war and ran away with its tail between its legs...from the rooftops in helicopters.! Anne Applebaum and The Atlantic are reliable news sources. Errr...NO! The "Petro-Dollar" is being challenged. Should it become useless and oil traded with any currency, the financial table will be levelled, but the USA will suffer huge losses. One of my kids is into the crypto markets. I still think if the fiat currency goes...so will the crypto but...many disagree with me. Over the last decade, and these last 3 years in particular, we've seen the utter failure of the vaunted institutions we've all placed so much trust in. The news media is a joke. The governmental bodies are a joke. We've gutted the police and the legal system. Our education system is under attack and our own kids are paying the price. If you have the means...my advice it to purchase at least 20 acres of land, build a modest home and begin leaning to sustain yourselves. Should the worst case scenario happen...you'll survive it. Should it not...you'll be even more wealthy.

I don't harbour much love for "The Dirty Three" (Abrahamic religions). They've habitually used common sense moralities (E.G. Thou shalt not kill) and warped them and mingled into them grossly destructive lies. This has always forced me to question which Gawd was really behind these rather violent religions? I do not sense the Gawd of all creation behind this crap. The worshipping of a dead guy tacked to a crucifix is a very obvious tell-tale sign of that. (and the evil one giggles in delight). We don't need to excavate jack...eyeball. We know instinctively what is morally acceptable and what is not. We just need to stop trying to warp it to fit all situations. Bad is bad. That's it. If one commits murder, no matter the excuse, its bad. For most humans, killing another human takes a hell of a toll on a person's "soul". Its The Dirty Three that I believe need to be...excused form class. Sent home with a note. Expelled. Me must maintain the common morality of humans, which have been the domain of these religions. One of my sons has a depression issue. But as The Rona restrictions began loosening, I've noticed his smile return. However, what we've done to our kids minds is down right deplorable...and was there really any need for all of it? Not really huh? We all knew, a long time ago, that masking is as much as useless. We knew a long time ago that the shutdowns were a gross overkill of the real threat from The Rona. The "idiot-box" showed a rolling death counter. We've spent 3 years being bombarded by seething lies about The Rona and anyone under the age of 60. There are many...too many...people who will never take the Gawd forsaken masks off...even outdoors. We needlessly scared the hell outta the population and now...oops...imagine that...we have a depression problem. Idiots!

Its "pie in the sky" thinking. How many criminals have you ever met that would act in the manner you suggest? In my life, I've known a lot of criminals...was even one myself for a brief but lucrative time. The reason so many people turn to crime is because its "easy money". However the reason most eventually wind up in jail is because that "easy money" is also easily spent and the criminal believes its also "easily replaced". Only the really wise criminal can hope to make crime truly successful. But those are far and few between and those who were wise...now have their kids in law school or are running for government offices. These "wise criminals" prey on the week-minded and uneducated for their muscle and labour. They don't give a rat's ass if a handful of them get shot or busted. The lower rungs are completely expendable. They get their "easy money" and are very "easily replaced".

Removing the 2nd amendment is a non-starter in the USA. It just is. And when these slaughters happen, its a direct result of the 2nd amendment. People can get guns and the sick-os will use them in horrific ways. That is something the American public will either have to accept in order to hang onto the 2nd amendment, or address the amendment directly. HOWEVER... The vast majority of gun violence in the USA is NOT a result of these news-making slaughters, but the daily slaughter that goes UNREPORTED by anyone (excepting FOX NEWS). This endless daily slaughter is destroying cities and making a mockery of the law with the current coddling these criminals get from the Libbie mayors and DAs in these cities. If the USofA really wants to maintain the 2nd amendment as is, yet also want to reduce gun violence, they will have to undo this war on cops and the legal system. Turn the cops loose to do their jobs, and make Gawd Damn sure offenders go to jail for a long long time. There is a war going on in Chicago, in NYC, Baltimore, LA, and all sorts of other cities. The gangs have no fear of the law anymore. They brazenly open fire in residential neighbourhoods. The police and the entire legal system must respond by joining the war and crushing it mercilessly. The crazed slaughters will continue, but with some good police work and good convictions, with an end to this paralyzing partisan bickering and a return to a safe neighbourhood, the USofA could drastically reduce "gun crime". But that would mean ignoring the loud and destructive voices of the "Progressives"...people who IMO, should be the ones the DOJ investigate for...terrorism.

Adjust the legal system so that multiple offenders and certain crimes carry a penalty so abhorrent that only the most intent criminals would even consider such an act. Actively promote the family unit. Make divorce difficult again and painful to attain. Turn welfare into a jobs creation program. Bring back the idea of winning and losing. Quit coddling our kids and stop giving them trophies for losing. Promote success. Encourage competition. Bring national pride back to the forefront. Canadian flags in every classroom. The Canadian anthem played at the beginning of every school day. Then...watch on for about 15 years as the black community begins to rise from the pit of despair our own liberal ideals created for them. Will...Honesty...and Time.
