  1. 😂 One of the worst PMs in my lifetime, but I don’t bring him up in every thread when he’s not but a memory. Legalizing pot was actually one of the few things he did that was worthwhile.
  2. He lives rent-free in your head.
  3. Wouldn’t it have contained a fleur-de-lis if this were the case?
  4. The “Pearson Penant”. Tell us again how the Libs chose a red flag when this was the PM’s favourite at the time. You nincompoops always ignore history to suit your ridiculous narrative.
  5. As I said above, that “side” is not my side either. You’re all a bunch of nincompoops.
  6. I think, like the statue vilifiers, you’re skipping a lot of nuance.
  7. Why do you hate Canada so much that you want to change our national symbols? Let me guess…. You want to tear down statues too.
  8. If there’s fraud, they should go to jail. Now do Trump.
  9. Who are you to say anyone should suffer? They want death with dignity, then they have that right.
  10. Insurance companies might not like it! Oh no! 😥 That is certainly a poor reason to not give people a right to die with dignity.
  11. Don’t care about dictionaries. Words have usages, not definitions forever set in time. No one promoting secularism is in favour of fascism.
  12. Tell me…. did they fight over religion, land, etc. throughout Great Britain for centuries?
  13. Secularism is not fascistic. You’re simply twisting the meaning of it to suit your narrative. “Secularism bad cuz Stalin was secular”. Might be the dumbest take I’ve ever read. Might be the second dumbest take of revisionism I’ve read! 😂 Saying the British Isles shared a common set of values over the centuries is asinine.
  14. This is so hilarious that this is a common conservative misconception. Bunker was mocked as a backward bigot who was being left behind as society got more progressive. That’s obvious to everyone who used to watch the show. https://youtu.be/khnHZ1wVdDc
  15. Don't secularists promote freedom of religion? As in worship anything you want. That’s what is promoted in Canada by force of law. That’s exactly the opposite of how the people you listed governed their nations.
  16. Europe was “together” for centuries?? This is so revisionist that it’s laughable.
  17. We let people off themselves anytime they want and we STILL have less people killing themselves than the USofA. You guys don’t have MAID cuz most of you would opt for it! Pretend like the statistics aren’t worse for America all you’d like. You’re killing yourselves at a much higher rate. Merry Xmas. 🎅 Hide the guns over the holidays.
  18. Comparative Suicide Rates (Per 100,000) United States: ~14.5 (2023 data) or 14.0 (2022 data). Canada: ~9.5 (2023 data) or 11.1 (recent average).
  19. I report the spam, but nothing is done about it.
  20. Sides? I’d be a Con voter if they ran a decent candidate in my riding and had good policy ideas. (Doesn’t mean I voted Lib though).
  21. You think we don’t need a military? You sound like a far-left radical.
  22. Your ignorance always amazes me. I don’t know why though, as it’s forever the case that you spew incorrect things on a constant basis. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1w8jq88xzlo Canada's counter-tariffs are targeting a variety of US produced or manufactured foods. Some of those items have since been subject to a temporary six-month exemption starting in April to provide "immediate relief" for Canadian businesses that rely on US products. Still, grocery shelves are seeing an impact. Canada's largest grocer, Loblaw, has even begun labelling items with a "T" that have risen in price due to tariffs. The grocer has added the label to nearly 7,500 items. Those include tomato ketchup and other tomato sauces imported from the US, and pantry staples like peanut butter and jam. Turkey, pasta and oranges, all of which have been counter-tariffed, have increased in cost. Michael von Massow, a professor of agriculture at Guelph University, said fruit juice prices have risen 7.5% from last year due to counter measures on American citrus. Canned soups saw an 8% increase in the same period due to steel and aluminium levies, said Prof von Massow. Canada gets most of its food packaging - like soup cans - from the US.
