We all have to buy our own food. They get paid to voluntarily do a job. No one is forcing them. -
Because I don’t want children born into poverty just because someone can’t afford birth control. Then don’t take an aspirin when you get a headache and definitely don’t put a mechanical valve in your heart to fix a genetic defect. Those things ain’t natural. Yes, everyone who wants to should have children. We agree.

Not necessarily. The court could deem the invoking of the Act illegal while upholding the actions to break up the invasion. But, maybe the people who had their accounts frozen might have a case…. They might get their grift money returned from the crowd funding sources too. It will depend entirely on the ruling, which isn’t likely to rule against the government in this anyway. So the grifters and invaders shouldn’t get their hopes up too high.

More Liberal lies about the carbon taxes...
TreeBeard replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
So how was it done for natural climate change? What’s the difference between how the two were derived? So, if it can’t be simulated, how do we know that the climate changes naturally and it’s not just weather? Maybe the climate never changes, and it is Satan up to no good through science again. Why is Satan lying through the same scientists about human changed climate, but then these SAME SCIENTISTS are telling us the truth about natural climate change? That doesn’t make much sense. -

That’s what’s the scientists are telling you…. So you believe the same climate scientists when they say that climate changes, but you don’t believe them when these same scientists say climate change is being caused by humans. But why couldn’t these scientists be spreading Satan’s lies just like the evolutionists? -
Why wouldn’t they? It happens in courts everyday where a judge rules against the government. I do like the CCLA’s website where they lay everything out, including timelines, documents and evidence. Whoever is doing their website is doing a very good job. it’s a great resource to understand why the CCLA does what it does. https://ccla.org/major-cases-and-reports/emergencies-act/

How do you know that’s not a lie by Satan? Couldn’t climate science be the same devilish lie like evolution is? -

No, the ideA didn’t come from an interpretation of the bible. They stole the idea from Conservatives. https://energynow.ca/2016/12/brief-history-canadian-carbon-tax/ Canada’s carbon-tax history began in March 2007, when Alberta became North America’s first jurisdiction to legislate greenhouse gas reductions from large industrial emitters via a carbon levy. The following month, B.C. joined forces with five U.S. states in the Western Climate Initiative—a market-based group aiming to tackle climate change. Ontario and Quebec have since signed on too. In May 2008, Conservative federal environment minister John Baird called carbon trading a “key part” of the government’s emissions plan targeting oil and gas producers and coal-fired power plants. In July of that year, B.C. became the first province to implement a carbon tax—with proceeds going back to taxpayers. -
Premier Danielle Smith: Train wreck
TreeBeard replied to Queenmandy85's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
When has a Canadian Premier ever provided amnesty to anyone facing criminal charges? Smith is either utterly stupid, or just lying that she had the powers of an American governor. -
Vatican repudiates doctrine of discovery

It was a group from 50 years ago in the USA mainly…. Context matters. So why are you using this term to describe activists now? -

First, I think red power is a racist term and is probably not a good idea to use that term if your goal is civil discourse. Second, If it was good enough for Britain back then to just claim Canada even though there were people already here, why get upset, or take offence, to an indigenous person saying that now, probably when they are saying it now to make a point, and not actually wanting to literally take your house? -

It is in self defence. At least, that’s what the rightwing keeps saying when someone is shot. So maybe we can be happy that this proud boy was able to walk away mostly unscathed? -

I don’t know if this was the case here, but given the threats and antics of this violent anti-lgbtq group, it was probably self defence. -

You’re saying that the Secwepemc (Shuswap) people didn’t exist?
