The POSITIVES from a Trump presidency
herbie replied to reason10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Did I say someone should shoot at Trump? If so I'd prefer it was a US firing squad for treason and insurrection. Unmasked and on live TV so everyone could see him blubbering "witch hunt, it's not fair... wah" as they ready, aimed... -
Zero of which to thank Smith for. And the others you want to justify not looking at because someone else isn't fully invested in it? I do recognize Alberta isn't known for volcanic hot spots. BC is and we're dragging our asses on that as well. People are loudly blabbing about SMR. no one doing. People belittled storage and boom, Musk built a battery one for Australia. Add to that, what's to say Alberta can't partly or fully own a project in another province. A million solutions, and here you all go refusing any. That's my point. FFS you can even convert oil and gas into hydrogen, hide the carbon under the rug if you're too dumb to use it for something and then make thermo-electric,

The man-made climate change is a fraud.

Dinosaurs are terrified by minority govt dictators and teen age girls as much as they are by needles. And uneducated enough to be proud to flog that fact as often as they can, regardless of how stupid it makes the look. -

Oh really? Guess the black helicopters will have to mid air refuel to get the range to send a Homeland Security team. Or will they just send a drone and bomb Canada like they think they have the right to everywhere else. Maybe you can deny that unlike the rest of the World you haven't wondered why they haven't solved the 'Trump Question' with a 2nd Amendment solution themselves. You should refer to a thesaurus and discover could, would and should do not mean the same thing. -
Is Hate Speech Free Speech?

Well then if I accept your concept that the President of the USA is King Shit and responsible for the whole world, then I can see how wars between other countries and supporting sides with democratic ideals could be construed as warmongering. Lucky people like you lost the 1936 election. -
Yet Duh... the fool bases his entire post on relying just on solar and wind, at their level right now, with no storage in place, as if everything else is switched off -CLICK- and sun & solar are the only alternative energy solutions. When you have a foot dragging, absolute obstructionist like Smith in power who's sole policy is to bash Ottawa, Albertans can look forward to entire term of foot dragging and regressive proposals. Supported by the dimwits that can only see part of something, refuse to see or even admit there can be more to it, and simply object to anything they consider new or different. Any hydro projects, nuclear, geothermal, electrical storage planned or under construction? Why the f*ck not? Just keep listening to people who think you can only make electricity from coal., gas or oil.

Should Stores Checking Receipts be Made Unlawful?

Right, because only the police do racial profiling. It doesn't even exist among anyone else. [/s] ( Ignoring the Costco guy following the Native lady everywhere and demanding she open her purse after she took out a Kleenex ) -

If he celebrates the opening of the Gordie Howe Bridge, he'll be in sniper range from our side. Couldn't get more positive than that. -

I guess 8 billion humans have zero ecological effects, right? You're one of those like the lecturer in 1970 who told our class that the limitless bounty of the ocean can be harnessed to feed mankind forever Gee! Forgot to tell the cod and the salmon about that, eh? -
Ontario needs to invest in EVs as a realistic Option.
herbie replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Of course it can't if you refuse to even start. Consider going from first man into space to landing on the Moon in 8 years. Now elect politicians that say it can't be done and refusing to even begin; welcome to cantservative values. There just isn't enough time 2035 is like the day after tomorrow. We can't even start to.... -

Takes a pretty skewed moral compass to call Biden a warmonger. Especially without a war to monger.. -

We drive a Wrangler for it's looks? We like that shoebox 1930s styling, eh? All the aerodynamics of an upright sheet of plywood. Yeah... And a Patriot? You have my pity. At least it wasn't a Renetard. But what has Alberta's inept power planning got to do with the Climate? -

Gee, the hottest year on record and golfing in December was weeks ago. It's been normal for days so that proves Climate Change is a lie. Duh ! dumb...dumb... DUH ! dumb... dumb... The Wall is in your brain. -

Reduce not end. Just like your gas mileage and how the battery on your ICE vehicle won't start your ICE car at -40. So you plug it in, don't you? And if your EV will "only go 150" instead of 200 km and it's 25 km to work who gives a flying f*ck? My Jeep wouldn't even crank over a couple days ago at -35... I had to plug it in for a couple hours.... wah wah wahh... Jeeps are no good!..wahh -

Keep giving us every ridiculous excuse why EVs are bad. Can't jump start a horse either. Or a brick for that matter. -
Nobody supports Israel on the World Stage either. They support it's right to exist and live in peace. but no one supports it's refusal to even consider allowing a Palestinian one the same right to exist. Ooh, Trudeau BAD... About as relevant as picketing the Inuvik School Board to demand a Middle East ceasefire.

Oh I'm not crying, I'm shaking my head with pit for those constantly whining about moral decay and supporting a fraudulent, narcissistic rapist for President.
