I don't know that they have better capabilities. The Aussi and Brit ships put more of an emphasis on anti aircraft and missile defence where the Canadian ships have more anti shipping and land capability. Underwater capability seems about the same.

Just looked at the BBC, Guardian, Globe and Mail and National Post websites. The only mention of Trump in any of them is an article in the Post about a book that maintains the KGB had been grooming Trump 40 years ago. He is nothing more than an oddity now. The only recurring American political story is about Cruz heading for Mexico when the lights went out in Texas and having to eat crow over telling California it couldn't manage its electrical grid.

Trump has nothing but contempt for the institutions you so often brag about yet you still make excuses for him. The Trump cult is a wondrous thing. The world's interest in Trump is rapidly waning, his only power is over his followers. If it finds anything interesting it is the state of the Republican party

I don't think the new laws will do anything to reduce gang related gun violence and probably not much to reduce homicides in general. This is more politics than anything. Drunk driving has been a criminal offence all my life, do you think banning vehicles is practical or even possible?
