  1. I never said that, it was posted by one of the Americans on this forum.
  2. You have as many states that prohibit registries as you do that make registering some firearms mandatory.
  3. I have one of These with a cut down sporting stock which I inherited from my father. A million of them were made for the British during WW1 because they thought they might run short of Lee Enfield's but they didn't so the Remington's were never used at the front. The British ones were also .303 caliber so they could use the same ammunition as the Enfield. I don't know which this one is but always meant to find out. I had it stored in the attic with the bolt removed and when we moved I couldn't find the bolt. I think it might have been in a drawer of a night stand I gave to goodwill. Now I have a boltless rife to get rid of.
  4. I Canada that would probably get you charged with careless or improper storage of a firearm. https://www.criminallawyervancouver.com/blog/careless-improper-storage-firearms-canada/
  5. I never said all guns come from the US, just the majority of illegal guns and showed you why. I've also provided links to US sources that describe what a problem the flow of guns from the US is for both Canada and Mexico. Everyone in Canada knows it including law enforcement. Go back to your Florida bunker child, you know nothing about my country.
  6. So that deserves the death penalty in Amurica. So sad.
  7. I posted government links that lay out what it takes to own and sell a gun in Canada. It's impossible to have any kind of discourse with someone who is intent on remaining ignorant and whose only response is a personal insult. You are a child.
  8. Of course there are criminals in Canada and they get most of their guns illegally from the US. If all Americans obeyed the law they wouldn't be selling guns to criminals so they can be smuggled across the border. Why aren't you capable of making a post without personal insults, it isn't like they do anything but make yourself come across as a child.
  9. What a bullshit headline, Biden has done nothing of the sort. Do you have a problem with the DoJ working with local law enforcement to investigate threats against people?
  10. It compares vehicle deaths with gun homicides, can’t you read? How may people are murdered with cars?
  11. Yes, due to history and the disparities in population density there are big differences in ridings. In remote parts of the country, ridings can cover thousands of sq km but have relatively few people. Because provinces entered confederation over a period of decades, they have more ridings than their populations warrant. A good example is Prince Edward Island which is our smallest province. It has about the same population as the BC city I live in but has 4 seats in parliament to my city's one seat. When it entered Confederation PEI had triple the population of BC, now it has 1/30th the population. This disparity is greatest in Canada's two most western provinces, BC and Alberta because they have experienced the greatest proportional growth since they entered Confederation. The number of seats they have been allocated has increased but not kept up with the growth in population. .
  12. We have had Trudeau mania, twice.
  13. It happens to be true. Most colonial possessions of other empires had to fight for their independence.
  14. Quite happy reading an article then making a whole bunch of shit up in order to turn it into a conspiracy. There is no way any government is going to force Albertans not to use their vehicles in winter.
  15. She was but she hasn't won a general election as leader. We'll find out if she is really elected on May 29.
  16. There weren't 38,000 vehicular homicides, try apples and apples. There were 45,000 firearms related deaths in 2020 https://injuryfacts.nsc.org/home-and-community/safety-topics/guns/
  17. Actually she hasn't won an election as leader.
  18. It would make people use a ring road to get to another neighbourhood instead of going direct to their destination. I know nothing about their road system and traffic problems but on the surface it looks like people would be driving farther to get to the same place.
  19. I don't have my head down a hole or wherever yours is stuck. https://www.newsweek.com/russia-ukraine-war-invasion-criminal-offense-duma-1684810 https://www.npr.org/2022/03/05/1084729579/russian-law-bans-journalists-from-calling-ukraine-conflict-a-war-or-an-invasion
  20. Seems too many of your cops aren't capable of arresting an unarmed person without killing them.
  21. Do a little homework so you don't keep making such ignorant posts. Restricted weapons (Handguns etc) are registered to an owner who must have the appropriate PAL to own one. https://ottawafirearmsafety.ca/pal-application/ https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/firearms/buying-and-selling-transferring-firearms
  22. Of course the other side says something else. State controlled media in a country where you can get 10 years for calling this a war.
  23. Britain and France also have nuclear deterrents. The problem is Russia's aggression in Europe. This is the first invasion of a sovereign state since Germany and the Soviet Union invaded Poland in 1939 starting WW2.
  24. Apartment blocks and hospitals are now infrastructure and military targets?
