The Soviet Union had everyone working for the state and it decided how people would be compensated. That is exactly what you are proposing. To build infrastructure you need hundreds of millions worth of machinery and the industries to make it as well as compensating people for the loss of their property and business. Build me a ten million dollar boring machine and I will mow your lawn for ten years. Ridiculous.

Oh look, a new antisemite in the house. They are all crawling out of the woodwork these days. -
You are describing a system where there is no incentive to work harder, show initiative or create. We have seen how well that worked out in the former Soviet Union. What do you mean there is no capital needed, building an industry isn't just labour, it also requires infrastructure.

How will you compensate someone on the other side of Canada with your labour? How will you compensate someone who lives 100 km from you. Who will provide the capital needed to build industries? Paying for what we import is done with money. Where do we get that money?

You are using some kind of device to post here, probably made in Asia. How do you compensate the person who made it with your voluntary labour? Without a system of money, our society can't function.

Going through my old vinyl and found a Minglewood Band album from 1979. He still sounds good.

I'm a fiscal conservative. I even voted for Kim Campbell. I've always been right of centre but this new populist conservatism is something which makes me quite uncomfortable and I find it increasingly difficult to identify with any party. But call me a liar, I'm getting used to it from the Trump cult. It's often the only response they have.

How Electric Cars Save The Planet

They won't last forever, eventually their capacity will drop until they are no longer suitable for road use but many old EV batteries have been repurposed to provide back up power systems for homes etc. -

Never seen a rebate so I won't miss anything. The carbon tax on my gas bill is now 150% of the cost of the gas. -

Your question was answered, they are warranted for 8 years or 160,000 km. Every year is just something R10 pulled out of his ass and you lapped it up. Data has shown a Tesla S battery loses about 5% capacity in the first 80,000 km. How much it will cost to charge one will depend on your electricity rates if you charge at home or whatever public chargers charge. Maybe ask some owners in your area. -

That's what I said, your view of the world doesn't extend past what you see out of your window and your keyboard. It doesn't matter what you think, it's happening anyway. Because you know so much more than the people who design and build the things. -
Volunteering does make one feel good, but it doesn't pay the bills.

How Electric Cars Save The Planet

Well, if the cost of hydrogen turns out to be the equivalent of $10 a litre, it won't fly. Not because of ideological reasons, people just won't be able to afford it. So your plan is communism. That is already a failed ideology. -

Got to agree with Moe on this one.
