Ukraine independence was supposed to be guaranteed by the Budapest Memorandum signed by Ukraine, Russia, the US and UK. It's obvious that the only guarantees that stand up are those backed by force.

Oh, I do and they do.

Too Shocking for Nightly News

Where is a good guy with a gun when you really need one? -
If an appeal is granted. Appeals are granted on whether the original trial involved legal errors, not whether a particular witness " fell flat".
-
The jury will decide who fell flat and who didn't. They include a retired wealth manager, an investment banker and a civil litigator. It will be hard to bullshit them and other jurors will likely look to them for guidance when it comes to the legal technicalities of finance and business.

Yet your posts on all the Ukraine threads say otherwise.

Yes cheer, your sympathies are a matter of record. You should try being truthful yourself.

Yet you cheer for the guy who started this war.

Why so many MPs based on our population?
Aristides replied to exPS's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This argument applies just as much to Australia, most of the country is sparsely populated with the bulk of the population in the south eastern part of the country. I don't think there is any doubt we are top heavy when it comes to government. We have more senators than the US with over eight times our population. -
Putin denied he was going to invade. Giving Ukraine weapons beforehand would have just been used as a provocation to invade. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/11/12/russia-kremlin-ukraine-nato-threats-521031 Trump negotiated the deal with the Taliban to leave Afghanistan. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-51692546 Your 20/20 revisionist hindsight is impressive.

So you are arguing that politics doesn’t affect political decisions? The usual actors are accusing Biden of being a war monger just because he supports Ukraine’s fight for its own sovereignty. It wasn’t Biden who held up the aid bill to provide Ukraine with more support. Why do you think Biden could have stopped the invasion?
