  1. What's my point, you mean? Why? How many times will you be needing to hear it before it penetrates? Oh well...let's try one more. Carbon is not the same thing as Carbon Dioxide. One is actual pollution in the air. The other is not. Your insistence on calling carbon dioxide carbon is nothing more than a lame attempt at deception.
  2. And a radish is a vegetable. What's your point?
  3. My point is Carbon and Carbon dioxide are not the same thing. Just as Hydrogen and H2O, water are not the same thing. Why? Are you trying to prove my other point as to how some are numb in the skull? Here, I'll try again to show you the difference between Carbon and Carbon Dioxide. See the below: That's carbon. Now breath out. What you see there is Carbon Dioxide. See the difference?
  4. Oh and by all means keep displaying your superior intelligence. I come here to be entertained by you numbskulls.
  5. And you can't have water without hydrogen. Does that mean you can put out a fire with hydrogen? Feel free to try it.
  6. I can find links to all the scientists making the failed climate predictions below if you like. Just tell me which one you doubt.
  7. Again, is it that you think we're stupid or is it just you? You tell us Carbon and Carbon dioxide are the same thing then tell us why they're different. What about Hydrogen H and Water H20? Are they the same thing? You can fill a balloon with one and float it in the air. If you fill a balloon with the other you'll sink it.
  8. Did Climate change exist long before you decided get all chicken little about it? Of course it did. So what's with this bogus redefining of the term. So now extreme summer heat is climate change but extreme winter cold is just bad weather, is it? As far as graphs trending up they've actually stopped doing that in any way predicted by the computer models Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming is based on. BTW, speaking of bad science, did you notice the Artic Ice that was supposed to be gone years ago is not only still there, it increased this year.
  9. Here's the solution to that. Stop calling carbon dioxide carbon and it will help you with your indoctrination problem where you're being inculcated with BS terms to believe there is a problem when there's no real evidence there is. Carbon Dioxide is clear, clean and necessary for plants to exist. Saying Carbon when you mean Carbon Dioxide is meant to convince the gullibles CO2 is black and pollutey. Oh and while you're at it lose that goofy term "climate change". Climate changes. That has nothing to do with what you're being told to get all Swedish teenager over. What you're actually being frightened about is the more correctly termed "bad weather." Heat waves happen. They didn't start with Al Gore. Heat records were being set for the 100 year temperature record long before Al.
  10. FDR won nothing. He had good generals and American manufacturing might. Luck of the draw. There's even a theory that FDR's actions and inactions prolonged the war in Europe and created the necessity of the war in the South Pacific with Japan. The Americans won the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan at lightning speed. They lost the peace. That last part was dumb and admittedly the responsibility of the neocon, George Bush. He should have done what Trump did with ISIS. Kick their asses then get out of there as best he could.
  11. You should read the whole thing. You'll understand a bit better. Starting with the first paragraph. https://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2013/11/30/the-great-depression-was-ended-by-the-end-of-world-war-ii-not-the-start-of-it/?sh=20a8b6e057d3 The Forbes guy sees the deregulation as a kind of inevitable consequence of the war but FDR had nothing to do with it. You should check it out too Rebound. Then maybe you can "literally" have a tiny clue what you're talking about. The problem right now is you two have been so deeply indoctrinated into the false mythos that FDR was some kind of super hero you'll not allow yourselves to even consider all the evidence that the thing I call Prog has been lying to you to deify the screw-up that the Progressive FDR actually was.
  12. I over simplified to make the point. But you should know what I'm talking about. We've had this conversation before. Forbes offers one explanation: https://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2013/11/30/the-great-depression-was-ended-by-the-end-of-world-war-ii-not-the-start-of-it/?sh=20a8b6e057d3 There's a lot more to it.
  13. The point you originally made that I took issue with was this one: No he didn't. Eisenhower, Bradley, Patton, they knew how to fight and win a war. FDR was forced into the war by Pearl Harbor. The War forced America to deregulate like a Republican. FDR had to stand back and let Americans do what Americans can do when you get Government off their back. Then the generals did the rest. As Beave pointed out FDR was dead by VE day. Truman authorized the dropping of the Bomb that ended the war with Japan.
  14. So 'what am I selling?' Is that the question? Well nothing to do with the desperate bafflegab of smear n slur and hopeful misdirection you posted above. My point hasn't changed from the original. Something your spreading of BS like forum thread manure in all directions has yet to challenge. These points:
  15. I heard a fun story about Yalta one time. It tells of how Stalin was able to take advantage of Churchill and Roosevelt by out drinking them. It says he sucked them into drinking vodka for their toasts and such.
  16. Or another way to put that would be just 5 months after Yalta. So basically Yalta set the table and Potsdam argued over how to rearrange the cutlery.
  17. The disruption was intentional. So the obvious question is why. Why would he do that?
  18. Remember during the Tea Party days when that Union Rep type came down to one rally wearing a leather jacket with nazi insignias all over it but the organizers were ready for that sort of thing, so they followed him around until he left with a sign over his head, "Not one of us." That's what this David Akin thing reminds me of.
  19. I think Akin is pissed that Charest got disgraced as a fellow Liberal infiltrator.
  20. I think I used to watch him on Sun Media when it was still on TV. He's kind of a Michael Hardner conservative. You know...the kind of Conservative that isn't.
  21. Isn't David Akin the guy who, 12 years ago, reported Gordon Lightfoot had died? Lightfoot is still alive.
  22. Nevertheless Eisenhower led the American troops to victory in Europe. Not FDR. After that... Ever heard of the Yalta conference? I'm thinking no. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yalta_Conference The agreement was reached in February. Roosevelt died in April. Victory in Europe was declared in May. Truman walked into a more or less settled deal although he did give Russia chunks of the Japanese empire and veto power in the UN. So that much isn't on Franky.
  23. FDR wasn't a Liberal. He was a Progressive. His achievements are misreported and over amped by a Progressive media and elite political class that followed. He didn't "win the war". The Republican Eisenhower was top General. FDR did help give away eastern Europe to the Soviets causing problems we still face today. He also interred over a hundred thousand Japanese. He's served over the longest recession/depression in America's history. Followed only by fellow Progressive Barrack Obama's. Only the war finally brought America out of the great depression. Then Truman took over followed by the golden years under the Republican - Eisenhower again. And so on...
