Adam Schiff, the head of the House intelligence committee who helped lead the impeachment against Trump has responded to information revealed in newly unredacted emails about the freeze on military aid to Ukraine. Like House speaker Nancy Pelosi, Schiff reiterated the need for a fair Senate trial that takes into account these new documents. “If [the documents] are not produced, the Senate and the American people must ask, what else is the President hiding?” Schiff said in a statement. Sounds like a turtle just got flushed.

Commercialized media leads to more foreign investors and less Canadian content. If that kept up we wouldn't have shows like the Murdoch Mysteries. I think of CBC as the line in the sand.

No, they arent. But like I said, they show stuff made from the world over. So really there are three choices here: 1: status quo 2: show content from the rest of the world except for american 3: Canadian content only I'm conflicted by two and three. I'm sure option two would really piss trump off.

Like I said earlier, the CBC broadcasts international programs. Until the americans move to mars or implode they are sadly still part of that group.

Right. So if they cut commercials then that means more taxpayers money.

They need to make room for commercials. That's how tv stations stay in business, since no one who watches their shows pays them to watch their shows.
