  1. All this talk about supporting assisted suicide as long as the person consents and comparing it to abortion to show why they support abortion. Yet abortion would be assisted suicide without consent, and I'm pretty sure those in favor of the right to assisted suicide wouldn't extend that to apply to those who don't consent, but when it's unborn child, all of sudden it's all good to these half-baked thinkers. Some people around here need to seriously rethink their position with such idiotic justifications as their go to explanation for their position on the issue.
  2. If they are under the age of consent, then they can't give their consent, and therefore a life was ended without consent, even if the mother signs off on it. I find it odd that many pro-choice folks who claim to care so deeply about the right of the mother having the right to choose, don't give two shits about the consent of the person most effected by the decision to choose whether they live or die.
  3. Russia couldn't have been brought into the fold, then or now.
  4. Where would Canadians be without their American punching bag?
  5. Anyone who said that 50 years ago was right, and anyone who says that now is right. Having thousands of nukes aimed at America on fifteen minutes launch on warning hair trigger never went away just because the Cold War ended, and America didn't stop aiming thousands of nukes at Russia either.
  6. If it's all about consent of the owner, then why wouldn't the consent of the person whose life is ending matter?
  7. Totally false, late term abortions are far more common than serial killers. Just because you don't know any women who got late term abortions for dubious reasons doesn't mean there isn't any. Even if you were right and they are nearly non-existent and no woman would ever make such a decision for no good reason, then a law that banned late term abortions in such circumstances would never interfere with a woman's right to choose anyway.
  8. Their nuclear arsenal says otherwise.
  9. Market Forces FTW. Bring on American Freedom, Down with The Eskimo Communist Iron Curtain against American Freedom.
  10. Canada is not freer than America. The Eskimo Communists are those who cling to Confederation using the excuse that without it the natives can't fend for themselves, using the welfare of a minority group to prop up a silly shotgun marriage that hurts the very minority group they claim to want to help. The lack of choice leads to worse governance, because you can never vote out those in power, because the alternatives are no different, they all govern as the Liberal Party of Canada would.
  11. It's cultish group think, you can try and spin it as a positive if you want, that's what Eskimo Communists do. A certain amount of polarization is a good thing, and the Yanks have a healthy amount of polarization, Canada does not.
  12. The Republicans have it better under Trump, and the difference between Clinton and Gingrich is huge compared to the difference between Trudeau and Scheer. Americans actually have a choice, and Canadians recoil from having a choice.
  13. The Eskimo Communist Iron Curtain against American Freedom will fall, and that is very much a good thing. Dangerous to the Laurentian Elites, sure, but again, that's a good thing. Canada's narrow overton window is a bad thing, there needs to be an actual difference between parties, not just the same thing with different labels and colors.
  14. Flight to Quality is a helluva drug.
  15. Trump is a New York Liberal who hijacked the Republican Party. He's not far-right at all, Democrats and their media sycophants are just easily triggered and would react in a crazy manner if he claimed the sky was blue. He does not only appeal to his base, he won the 2016 election by winning over Obama voters in the Rust Belt, the far-right base only president thing is a myth created by haters.
  16. Well that's what people mean when they say it's a good week for Trump. Bad week for the Democrats, Great week for Trump. If the criteria you use has nothing to do with whether it hurts or helps Trump politically, then what you call a "good week" or a "bad week" is irrelevant.
  17. Good strategy, but questionable results at best in your case. Apparently you're not so great at sifting through the garbage, then again, most people aren't. Clearly you don't take negative stories about Trump with as much of a grain of salt as you should, considering the media's obvious bias against him, as you buy into obvious Anti-Trump propaganda all the time.
  18. If you don't think Trump had a good week, you simply aren't paying attention and you want to believe that every week of his presidency is bad for him.
  19. There are many distinctions between the two parties, if you think there isn't, you don't know anything about politics. In Canada all the political parties are the same, the same is not true in America.
  20. I don't even know what you are talking about, but it sounds really stupid.
  21. We do think ourselves, us coming to a different conclusion than you does not mean we aren't thinking for ourselves, you just wish that was the explanation. Accusing people you disagree with as being a fountain of hate just proves my point.
  22. Real Canadian identity has been erased, so Anti-Americanism fills that void, without it, Canada would have no identity. That's why Canadians act like this.
  23. You lump everyone who disagrees with you into a basket of deplorables, it's your go to argument tactic when you can't win an argument on the merits but want to convince yourself that you are right anyway.
