  1. The problem with this thought is that you assume America needs NATO more than NATO needs America. While it would be disadvantageous to have less allies, this assumes there is even a common enemy that requires NATO. That’s just no longer the case. The Soviets were defeated, China is in demographic collapse and one of the most exposed country to international sanctions to even maintain a semblance of unity. America has no rival, only liability. That’s all of you NATO deadbeat, a liability.
  2. Mmhmmm. The Chinese isn’t interested in Canada you know that right? Canada and Mexico from the Chinese perspective was always a back door to get into America via NAFTA.
  3. This applies to Canada as well. Greatest presidential president in American history!
  4. Do not mistake compassion for goodness, it is not. Unbridled compassion is a tragic mistake.
  5. You’ll see. Venezuela, that’s just the opening ACT. The entire western hemisphere North and South America is now undisputedly America. There’s not a country on earth that can do anything about that either. Greenland remains Danish in name only. It’s already effectively under US control. So bemoan America all you want but this zone of American power will be the best place on planet Earth in the foreseeable future. Shielded by American might from the coming chaos.
  6. Okay 51ster. USA is reinventing itself. These are birthing pain. You get the good with the bad mmkay. But Canada , oh Canada, you get all of it.
  7. Quick history lesson for you Robo. the other nato countries are cannon fodder, specifically against the Soviet Union. Now that the Soviet Union is no longer around, they’re basically NATO deadbeats. Make no mistake, NATO was formed as a bulwark against the Warsaw Pact. Those days are long gone.
  8. Yes because we told you so. I don't know why you insist on elbow ups approach to US Canada relations. It has NEVER worked out well for Canada. You're America's side kick so just accept it. You're the Greenland to America, eventually the 51st state.
  9. No as long as they sell to who America wants it sold to. Otherwise tanks will roll into Alberta.
  10. Canada could use more freedom. America could roll some tanks into Alberta or blockade BC ports. Interdict Canadian tankers. Many options to choose from for sure.
  11. This is where you’re wrong. If Canada insist on sucking, there’s only one country to suck off. We all know who that would be.
  12. The US is boxing in China with Energy. American warship is now actively targeting the shadow fleet. Meaning China has to buys oil from US approved producers. Russia, Iran Venezuela are all under oil sanctions and cannot produce enough energy and ship it to China without US interdiction. This is even more true for Canada. So unless Carney got permission from the US administration it’s just political theater.
  13. More than half the US voted to shoot her in the face by your logic.
  14. Or a nato dead beat anguishing about getting annex
  15. You do realize the ACA was a ploy for big pharmaceutical to charge whatever they wanted and jack up prices right?
  16. And here we are robo. You had to put your foot in your own mouth. https://www.cnn.com/2026/01/14/business/venezuelan-oil-us-sell-trump
  17. Only if they kowtow to America and decides to play nice.
  18. And somehow quietly in the background a tribute was offered to their new president.
  19. The doormat people deserve ridicule in more ways than one. Most I think are the performative virtue signaling type, the psychopath where the personal cost is nothing and the unearned virtue is high. Second, it’s actually evil, to think that one group of people is guilty against another group when no personal transgressions has taken place and be subject to moral condemnation. That’s what the Nazi thought about the Jews. Taken to its logical conclusion, it’s easy to justify white genocide. The communist thought the same about the bourgeois and land owners, killing many and shipping them off to the gulags.
  20. Not to derail OP’s thread but organized religion was meant to safeguard against spiritual possession and false teaching, build a sense of community. However, with the case of any organization, it’s prone to corruption and abuse. The secularist is correct in their critique of organized religion but where they go too far is throwing the baby out with the bath water, throwing away faith. And to circle back, without a belief in God, what’s stopping me from committing evil, treating you with utter hatred and disgust to the point of genocide?
  21. You do realize mankind is imperfect and prone to sin yes? That’s no excuse to not try to live up to our greatest good. Something approximating the warmth of divinity.
  22. When you country has oil, it can always use more freedom
  23. If only someone wrote us a manuscript on how to conduct ourselves… a road map to the kingdom of God. Stop being lazy and go read your Bible. You’ve no idea the amount of blood and sacrifice it took to preserve this knowledge.
