  1. No I get it perfectly well, you want us to study philosophers just for their skin color, just because they are white. It is your problem with political correctness trying to censor people.
  2. Well I agree on both points. But what do you think that means of illegals with legal relatives, children, uncles, aunts, etc. Most the illegals are really just overstays on their visas from Mexico staying with family in the border states. That is probably the real reason the wall will be only semi-effective (might slow down some drug runners.) Getting fake documents in Mexico where half the government is under gang control is like getting ice cream at dairy queen.
  3. This will be good to see how he does it (or more likely fails). The American healthcare act took nearly 17 months to get done and the plan was already moving before Obama got elected. Trump has no real plan yet, but he claims he can cover everyone, cheaper, not universal care, and you can keep your doctor. Trump has not even spoken to the chairman of the senate healthcare committee about his plan and his plan can not even begin to be debated in the houses until its introduced into committee and debated in committe, amended multiple times in committee, pass committee then into both houses. Trump is not going to give people healthcare. They will repeal Obama care and back to square one. Trump will be a one term president if he isn't impeached or primaried.
  4. Nope, Trump ran on a campaign of the election was rigged, he was going to mass deport large segments of the population, ban an entire religion, and that if they lost the election to make the nation ungovernable and huge nation wide protest with pitch forks ought occur. There really is no tolerance for such foolishness. Where do you draw the line on such non-sense?
  5. probably more welfare money, I don't think they are real separatist, probably just a ploy to get more money and not work. Heck at this rate I might move to Montreal, sipping lattes and free money, why should I bust my hump in Ontario to pay taxes for French welfare queens?
  6. Equalization payments are by definition that. Some provinces do not have enough tax money to support a reasonable standard of living, others receive less than what they pay into the federal tax system, so the have nots can get it. They are getting money from people in other provinces, but not technically a check from the provinces per se. The other provinces are just getting shortchanged because Quebec economy underperforms.
  7. Of course, he realized Quebec was fruitless, and started chasing the GTA and won his majority there. I stil think they will need to carry at least SOME seats in Quebec to get a majority though, but not very many. And we also have to deal with the fact that the GTA is going to be alot bigger, alot more liberal, and alot more immigrant in 2 years than it was 8 years ago when Harper was winning it. The one thing I don't get is what point is Quebec trying to make to the rest of us as Benz claims. Its almost as if they think getting all of our equalization money from Ontario, Alberta, BC is somehow not enough. At this point, I really think they should just separate. Seriously, Quebec just causes the rest of Canada to pay $11 billion a year more in Taxes. And I could think of alot better things to do with that money than waste it on Quebec corruption.
  8. What message were you trying to send? You guys have your own province, you are a have not province and have been for a very long time, you have gotten alot of money from the other provinces to support your standard of living. I am not a Quebecer, I learn some French for 4 years in University, I can't say I really understand what message Quebec is trying to send, or who they are trying to send it to. Conservative candidates by definition get picked for their authoritarian mindsets like Harper, look who they want to elect in O'leary, he is not going to sit down and sayy lets give Quebec more money, he is going to cut your money off and say stand on your own two feet.
  9. yes. double yes, look on campus, most the students barely speak English in the major schools in much of Ontario and BC. HAVE you ever been to U of T st. george? It is like Chinatown East, I literally could walk into entire buildings like computer Engineering and not see a single white person under 45, and I am not even white. And I'd add that downtown Toronto is majority white by residents. You do realize us and uk spy on us through their businesses as well right? There was no hope to destroy China, they were breeding like rabbits and could just use their share numbers to fight the USA to a stalemate like they did in Korea and Vietnam. It became clear that isolating China long term would be impossible because at the way Chinese were breeding down the place, they'd be forced to move into their neighbours at some point in a huge refugee crisis. My grandfather basically put together the point 4 program, later expanded to point 5, and the general American view was that China was one humanitarian crisis from over running the soviet union. China has 1.3 billion people. They could pretty much just send 1 million Chinese across the border for 1 year straight everyday, and there is just no stopping that kind of numbers. And as bad as the soviet union was, it would be a lot worse with 300 million Chinese refugees with a hatred of America in their hearts for ruining their country if America tried to sabotage it too severely. My grandfather tells me the view was basically you had to drop 50 nuclear bombs on China back in the 50s, to well we can try to isolate them politically and economically, to they are just too large to isolate. How do you isolate 1/5th of the planet with a huge diaspora on all continents? The view then became if we could get Chinese to stop breeding so much, and pull them into the global order, well we might be able to avert a complete crisis. If we did to China what we did to North Korea, we'd just have another North Korea but too big to invade on our hands. Also China is home to many strategic resources like precious and rare earth metals. Isolating it would never work. They'd just create a parallel economy with our other enemies like Iran, cuba, saddam's iraq, syria, many of the anti-apartheid states. What rght minded Canadian would want to work for Communist Chinese mine owners? You ever work in a mine before? No, because US is white majority and target was white owned, they view it as racial. The cost would be more expensive products, more expensive inputs, destroyed entrepreneurship. There was a reason why middle class people rarely started factories decades ago, back then, the cost of the machines alone were in the low millions, China has got many of them down to the hundreds of thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars.
  10. Which world? USA and Reagan were firmly behind Apartheid South Africa and propped it up with 30,000 US special forces that they denied sending to go fight the frontline wars. Apartheid ended because 16 african countries with soviet union and cuban help, had helped to arm the ANC to overthrow the apartheid dictatorship. They lost in Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Namibia and got scared they were going to all get killed so they negotiated a surrender agreement, releasing Nelson Mendela and giving Namibia independence.
  11. Why don't we screen existing Canadians for Canadian values, deport back to europe those who don't accept multiculturalism.
  12. You cannot unite with a racist bigot who has dangerous policies, which Trump has been espousing. People have been waiting for Trump to change and become a uniter, but he seems to only know how to divide people. I see trouble ahead for USA. The dems should obstruct Trump everywhere possible, its pay back time. And trump is not legitimate, he won an election he admitted was rigged and putin rigged it. If he says its rigged, he is not legitimate, he is not legitimate.
  13. Trudeau has only been in office 2 years, he hasn't made any major moves, 2 years is a long time. Most voters perceive the economy to do better under liberal national governments, so if it becomes about the economy, conservatives will lose. Harper did not win on economic issues, he took a huge surplus from the liberals and turned it into a giant ballooning deficit. People really vote for conservatives for 1 of 2 reasons, sick of liberal corruption and liberal social policies gone amock like gays and trans etc. The only other card they have is tax cuts but there is not much more to cut federally. Trump won because people were voting for an attitude of vitriol and crudeness. The silent hateful majority came out and voted for him. Trump's childish insults and targetting minorities and ridiculous economic arguments are what got him elected. O'leary can't use that here, harper already tried it and it failed, so the question becomes how does O'Leary defeat a relatively popular incumbent who hasn't had much opportunity to even enact his policies. Voters are usually willing to give a candidate more time. O'leary's mean spirtidness will backfire, he'll have to change the electoral map in order to win. That was why he won the mid-west though, they lost their job to trade deals, so it was pay back time to the establishment. This is where O'leary has it tough, attacking trade deals won't make sense in Canada. He only has social liberalism, liberal taxation, and liberal corruption to attack. O'leary would have to campaign to give $5000 tax vouchers to the poor aka refundable tax credits or something like that to win.
  14. Why was chritien so popular in quebec? Because he is french? Conservatives will not win any serious number of seats in quebec, quebec is super socialist. O leary would have a better chance in other provinces. All what spending Trudeau has done? Nationalpost just ran an article showing Trudeau promised to spend but cut spending from what harper did.
  15. LOL, Trump will find threats will not work on the arabs, but oil prices are already low, and they'd be a lot lower if the AMERICAN oil companies were not colluding to keep prices high at the gas station, the Iranians are now selling oil they couldn't sell before and it has made a global market glut, throw on the global economic slow down, more oil discoveries in south america like trinidad and guyana and Russia drilling in the artic. If Trump really does take the jobs back from east asia, expect more fall in gas prices as all those yellow nations lose their jobs they won't be buying cars anymore.
  16. You said: " I said "Such as?" You respond by talking about Trudeau. trudeau is not in the Wynne government. What has the Wynne government done to create high energy prices in Ontario. Stay on focus here.
  17. We have among the highest growth in any region in the entire G7 and canada. Alberta is shrinking and dying. " Ontario’s economy grew 0.7 per cent in the third quarter of last year outpacing growth in the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Germany, and France, according to data released Friday. " " The province remains a growth leader in Canada and amongst G7 countries. But there is still more work to do " " With the Canadian dollar hovering at around 75 cents against the U.S. greenback – thanks to low oil prices that are walloping Alberta – Ontario exports are helping propel the economy. “Higher exports were the primary driver behind the third quarter gain, while continued growth in household spending also contributed to the overall increase in real GDP (gross domestic product), " https://www.thestar.com/news/queenspark/2017/01/13/ontario-economy-growing-at-26-per-cent.html We are a have not province who still manages to send more money to Ottawa and other provinces than we receive. Why should we be fiscally responsible when our money just gets spent off in Quebec, the maritimes and the west? Better to spend our own money, run large deficits and have the money here, then somewhere else.
  18. More non-sense, she probably pays a net negative tax rate, 4 kids, getting 10k from the government for them. lead by example. Those third world countries have far less regulation because the governments are too busy with paying the bills to even regulate things like that. And no, it is not a black market, it is unregulated. oil is not a free market, it is controled by a cartel called opec Your source is wrong then. Ontario has never been a net receiver of equalization because the federal government just clawed the money back by withholding funds that should have gone to the province. Ontario can never be a net receiver, for it is too large, and there is no where else who could even cover that. This is why despite being a havenot province, ontario still sends $15 billion more to the feds than they get back.
  19. To some degree, but governments are expected to spend in bad times to lift the economy.
  20. climate denier. no way pumping billions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere can not have a negative effect.
  21. Such as? Many individuals in the Trudeau government were also appointees of harper, does that mean trudeau is now harper? if he is going to make a carbon tax, and ontario already got one, where else should he go besides the person whose already done it? Well can agree on this.
  22. I don't know of any socialist on this forum. I am a mainline Republican right of center. I oppose abortion, gay marriage, I oppose assisted suicide, birth control and am in favor of the death penalty. I oppose subsidies to big agra, big oil, and most other industries, I oppose gmo, I oppose the gun registry, increased gun control, I oppose the expansion of the police state and expanded powers of federal or provincial governments, I oppose any funding to aboriginals for being red indians, I oppose marijuana legalization, I oppose any limits on donations to parties, I oppose spending limits in elections because money is speech, I oppose the acceptance of syrian refugees, I support a mass deportation squad to round up hispanics and send them back to mexico and support a muslim ban until we can figure out what the heck is going on. I oppose more taxes on the capital gains, and believe it should be lowered, and want lower business taxes as well. I support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and its time to get tough on Russia. Has it ever occured to you that people in Ontario WANT government to solve their problems? They believe in smart government working for them. Are they socialist, maybe, alot of our population in the 905 who basically decides every federal and provincial election are people from highly socialistic countries like Italy,China, India, former Ussr, etc. Unless you are earning over 60k a year, you actually aren't paying net taxes at all. The question I have for middle class people like you is this, if Harper was so great, and Trudeau has only been in power for hardly 2 years and hasn't passed any substantive laws to increase taxes, how can you be blaming him for all your woes. If you did that well under Harper, surely you should still have alot of Harper money saved up? Trudeau has not yet increased the taxes in a substantial manner, he has just proposed it, his policies has not changed since he took office, so if you are failing its the Harper policies hurting you, not Trudeau.
  23. Its not up to her to destroy the earth for future generations. Alot of people can't afford the tax on a new lambourghini, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be one.
  24. Good, then sell and stop whining. Then she will struggle, life is not easy, you are not entitled to any money or wealth. People earning under 60k a year are net tax receipeints, they don't even pay taxes when all the deductions are added up anyways. Carbon taxes are part of that necessities. We need to curb carbon emissions. We've never had a free market in Canada. If our market was free the dumping would be legal, there would be almost no regulations on imports or foreign ownership of strategic assets. And India is probably alot closer to free market than Canada, you go to India and see kids selling bear and gasoline in the streets. A decision was made to make a deal with fellow muslim states. There you go with the lying claim of highest debt, not true, California has double the total debt, NL and Quebec have higher debt per capita, and our debt is the result of financing the other provinces for over 60 years with $300 billion in equalization payments.
  25. Trudeau hasn't really put through any policies yet, if she is suffering and has been for years then its Harper/Wynne/Mcguinty + local politics fault, not the guy who just came on! She wants me to pay her tax load, no way, pay your own tax.
