No, if you can't afford your lifestyle, start with the woman in the mirror, stop blaming people for your failures. She was struggling when Harper was PM, she just wants a bailout.
-
Her mortgage is her problem, if she can't afford it SELL. You are not entitled to a house! Canadians need to get over their entitlement issues, I'm entitled. Even the petrol industry was largely financed by the government. The market doesn't make the call, the government does, governments construct markets. There is a reason you cannot drill where you want and refine oil in your backyard. Yes because the government invested in roads and invested in oil infrastructure, not because of some magical free market. Do you understand that true free markets don't have government's building roads and infrastructure to assist the petrol industry. No we need to phase out these dangerous fossil fuels, the tar ponds are destroying the environment. The Saudis can pump oil at 3 cents a barrel, they can crush the entire oil market single handily. No, fossil fuel must be phased out via carbon taxes. This is what we believe as a nation. Trudeau has a mandate to impose them and save the environment from dangerous polluters.

Well sometimes people have to pay for the decisions they make in life. I don't want anyone to be poor, but living in rural Ontario, having four kids, come on, was she really making piles of money when she had her first kid or second kid? If the husband left her, she gets child support. If the husband doesn't pay, he goes to jail, and the state pays her the money and milks the husband dry. And if the husband is doing that, this has to do with the white cultures lack of family values and lack of fathers in the home and lack of responsible behaviour. When the Catholics tried to warn Canadians about divorce, the Canadians laughed in their face. If he died, they should have had life insurance if his income was high. anyways harper's law should have caused her to get about $10,000 a year so she should be well off. You add that 10k a year + her 40k a year and tax deductions she should be doing ok. Maybe her kids need to go work. I would rather that she reduce her lifestyle, she is not entitled to own a house, she is not entitled to live beyond her means on MY dollar. True conservatives understand this. She isn't entitled to MY money, or to pollute MY AIR. She has to pay like everyone else. Well, abortions are legal in Canada, as is adoption. She didn't have to raise kids she cannot afford. Then they ought be selfless and give up their kids to someone more financially secure and responsible. You arenot entitled to kids and money.
-
We don't know her situation, but she must live within her means, maybe she needs to move to a cheaper community She is making 3330 a month, that is enough money to live off of, not lavishly, but you'd be living. There you go playing the race carts again. Canada doesn't even have inner cities. I live in Bridal path, work down on younge and king, do you even know what our inner city looks like? Most people living in the city aren't running around with 4,5,6 kids, most people I know are upper middle class to rich and don't have more than 2 kids unless they are in the rich group. Want to be poor have 4 kids and no skills.
-
we will never have complete information on her so we will all have to make presumptions. You are presuming she even bought a house. We don't know that. She could have inherited it, ran into hard times and mortgaged the equity. When the petro energy runs out, you are going to be if we don't start shifting our consumption patterns away from fossil fuels, we are all going to have smog and cancer like beijing and india. There is no energy free market, oil market is controlled by opec, an oil cartel. She is keeping that moeny at the expense of future generations, not fair.
-
She's only 54, I remember 30 years ago, in the 1990s, there were no child tax credits, I can't imagine when a person who wasn't rich having 4 kids would have been smart. Sorry wouldn't matter what the government did, didn't she benefit off all those child tax credits, she should be getting jsut 10 grand a year for having so many kids. You have 4 kids and are not rich, you deserve to be poor. This is not the days of Charlamagne, where two kids would die before 18.
-
This woman has no mortgage, got free dead left land, this woman had 4 kids, even though she knew she couldn't even afford 2. This woman works 15 hour days, but one has to ask doing what? Stop blaming government for everything and take some personal responsibility. Of course life is hard in bum butt nowhere. And its not Trudeau's fault, energy is a provincial area, and the carbon tax hasn't even been implemented. If we don't curve gross energy usage, there won't be a future for ourgrand children. A national carbon tax is a necessity, we can no longer permit people to pollute for free. If her provincial government is any good, she should get a rebate for not using lots of carbon, just like with the hst.
-
How can she be working 15 hours a day and not be making enough to cover a $700 mortgage? And why did she have four kids if she wasn't making enough money to pay her mortgage, why didn't she stop after child number 1 or 2? People who cannot afford to live should not have more kids they cannot even afford.

We ain't scared of Trump, we don't need him, we will just redirect our trade to China, USA is sinking ship. Once the Republicans in congress start trade wars, create massive inflation, huge tax cuts, run up the deficit, eliminate healthcare and social security, build up a massive army, cut minimum wages, USA is going to look like a 4th world country. Don't you see their tea party style politics is failing in Kansas and the entire state is on life support? In a decade Kansas will be bluer than the ocean.

no it isn't some religions don't have a god.

Russia is not an ally against ISIS, they are an ally of Syria and have been for a long time. They are not anti ISIS. And you think Russia doesn't beat and kill gays, commit genocide, are you forgetting why so many russian jews are in Canada?
-
How are we being hostile to Russia, Russia is the country that has invaded two countries illegally in the last decade and is colonizing them. Russia is a natural enemy because they have a competing ideology of communism, hate, violence, thuggery, and anti-democratic values and behaviours. Russia is a kleptocratic state that imprisons billionaires and steals their wealth.

What is the point you are trying to make, a previous commentator claimed Ontario had the most debt in the world at the sub-national level. It is demonstrably false. Did you just ignore all the previous words in the comment where I stated that Quebec and NL have higher per capita levels of debt? Ontario is the largest province in Canada, it is mainly a manufacturing economy. Its long term performance is tied to the national government in charge because it is dependent on a low dollar to usd (50-60 cents range) in order to be competitive. It is also probably true that Alberta who exports oil but imports a great deal of equipment would probably prefer a high cad dollar, which are the policies that Harper pursued, and which forced the economy of Ontario and central canada into huge amounts of debt. Further, Ontario wouldn't even have any debt if they were allowed to keep the all the money they made instead of having to pay out hundreds of billions above its debt levels to support Quebec, Alberta, the maritimes and all the other provinces who have ridden the coat tails of Ontario historically. And before you say "but Ontariooooo is a habe not", yeah the only have not province who pays 3 billion more into the equilization program than it receives. It is not possible for Ontario to be a true have not in the manner that the other provinces have been, because it is so large, there is no way the other provinces would be willing to cover the cost. The GTA has a greater GDP than all of Alberta, it is simply not possible and to still be fair to any degree. -

The headline is inaccurate, it never even explained how it is the most indebted, on a per capita basis, quebec and NL are more indebted. On a total basis California Debt is over $400 billion, which appears more than $100 billion over Ontario's. http://www.sfchronicle.com/politics/article/California-s-400-billion-debt-worries-analysts-6812264.php Ontario's debt is $300 billion (canadian so you knock off around 33% for exchange rate), which is like 200 million american) http://globalnews.ca/news/2845864/reality-check-is-ontarios-debt-really-that-bad/ 60-50 cents is the sweet spot, we did very well in Ontario when Chritien was in power and lowered the dollar, same for paul martin. Low dollar decreases cost so much that it wipes out the disadvantages of that. -
I'd be surprised if there was a single muslim out there, lol. Its not just Peel, it is meeting the needs of the people who live there, we live in a diverse country, one size will not fit all, if there are enough people who want prayers, let them have it. No sweat off my back. We live in a country where one man can put his penis into another man's rectum and two men can kiss each other and cross dress in public but if you want to pray in public that should be debated? GTFO with your political correctness!

Ontario is not the most indebted area in the world. We had rolling brown outs and poision water under the Harris eves government and poor medical services. He sold off public assets and the taxes were still very high. Carbon pricing in my view is dumb, it needs to come from the national level if it is going to be done and there needs to be tariffs on foreign products to balance out for them not having our environmental standards. We do have high electricity rates. However had we not had to pay into equalization to give the other provinces a reasonable standard of living or equal standards of living then we would have a huge reserve of cash we'd be sitting on so much so that we'd probably have a provincial wide fund and we'd probably not even have to pay much taxes. Ontario was ruined by the federal governments equalization policies. Electricity pricing is pretty bad, but if we want clean air, we have to pay for it, and incompetent government made bad contracts. A high dollar has historically harmed Ontario manufacturers because it makes the exports uncompetitive in price, a low dollar expands exports, even the swiss, germans and japanese and chinese get this, they devalue their dollar whenever it gets too high. The only benefit of the eu to germany is the weak economies allow germans to export in a way that would be impossible if they had their own dollar, they will prop up greece for ever. How many years throughout the 60s to the 1990s with low oil prices was Alberta a have not province, for how many decades /years? This is the first time Ontario has ever been a have not province, any other time it got close the feds would re-jiggle the formula to ensure it would not qualify. And Alberta is now a have not province as well, so your criticism of ONtario is illogical. Inner cities of Alberta? Are you American, because Alberta doesn't have "inner cities" you could hardly call Calgary or Edmonton cities. Alberta's "Cities" are not exactly leftist, they get their economy depends on right wing politics. The wild rose party would not be competitive if that were true. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/sites/default/files/cost-of-government-debt-in-canada-2016.pdf Even the right wing loons and fraser institute say your lying. The most indebted provinces per person are quebec then NL. The low dollar will offset other cost. If we get the dollar down from 75 cents to 50 cents, then you reduce cost across the board by 33%. Hydro is expensive and taxes are moderately high and carbon pricing is not that bad, but if we can get the dollar down, then we can draw in and keep manufacturing jobs here. Trudeau needs to ramp up spending and devalue the dollar down to 50 cents so Ontario economy can rise with Quebec. -

No, it doesn't. Because they got tired of being financially disciplined so all our money goes to support the provinces who consistently under produce. Ontario still sends more to the federal government than they get back, because of its size, it is just not realistic for it to be a have not province in the way alberta was for decades. The federal support is weak given that ontario paid all the taxes for the last 60 years that was used to develop the nation. Then we need to stop buying imported good, and high dollar supports thaat. Why did the tories go to the left? Because their right win policies failed! Ontario has a history of largely good government until harris and wynne and eves government destroyed it on purpose. Lowering the dollar will lure them back to build plants on the cheap here. -
No, real bs, it takes 40 years to get through the content because of the large volume, by the time Plato, Socrates and the Greeks started showing up in Egypt starting with Thales, Nile Valley philosophy had been practiced and been in development for over 4000 continuous years. We take quiet long to learn a relatively much shorter amount of material. You also have to bear in mind the content covers multiple areas from medicine, philosophy, architecture, engineering, geometry, calculus, algebra,, logic, religion, astronomy. How in your mind did they conflate the two? Are you forgetting that Socrates was sentenced to death for teaching "false gods" by fellow athenians and that the ancient greeks were highly superstitious? Are you forgetting these are people who believed in a religion that was often conflated into their history and works? Which philosophers though. I agree some are important, but alot of the white male philosophers like kant, niche, etc they are teaching are only being taught for being white. That is political correctness gone run a muck, they are entirely irrelevant, especially for a school with focus on africa, asia and middle east.
-
Meh, I lean towards accomodation, peel has a huge muslim population, Canada is a multicultural mosaic, people have this right.
-
Clearly you have a reading comprehension issue. Plato focused on one part of the system of Ma'at (the reason based) that he studied because he did not complete his studies so he focused on what he knew and was taught. I've never actually minimized the role of the Greeks, it is you with your racist lens of the world which has caused you to be unable to acknowledge that Plato who studied in Africa views were informed by and influenced by and come from Africa. Your opinion certainly does not justify removing the foundation of Greek philosophy and Western civilization, African philosophers and African Ma'at and Kemetic Systems and african rational thought that passed from the Egyptians to the Greeks.

This comment is so bizarrely ignorant I must assume you are a foreigner. Ontario has massive debt because Ontario had buoyed the entire economy under equalization so that the provinces in the west and east (minus bc) could survive and have equal levels of services. Frankly it is ONtario who needs to separate because they pay so much tax and receive so little from the federal government historically speaking. Our dollar falling is a good thing, because it means we can export more goods, frankly I hope the dollar goes down to 60 cents. You do not produce natural resources, you dig them out the ground and Alberta cannot even do that right because the conservatives screwed it up so bad the Albertans went nuts and voted in an NDP government and they are now heavily in debt. Ontario needs to throw on a carbon tax on all incoming products so that they can compete. The smaller provinces are entirely dependent on the larger provinces to finance their health, education etc systems. Ontario is the only province in the long run with any history of being well run and not being entirely dependent on federal government. -
No it is not an idea that was inspired by, it is written based off of the system. The Republic is a borrowed story. No it would be like if X teacher did y painting, and picasso studied under that student for more than a decade and painted y2 painting that looked very similar to y painting the foundations for his painting were his teacher's painting and that system. In many regards the example isn't ideal because there are many ideas where Socrates just outright used without even changing kemetic mystery system sciences. It would be more akin to picasso just copying hundreds of paintings from his teacher. For instance the ‘Know Thyself,’ line was wrongly attributed to Socrates, and they claimed he invented this wise maxim when it was later revealed he borrowed this concept from Africa and it was all over every Egyptian temple. http://history.howstuffworks.com/history-vs-myth/greek-philosophers-african-tribes1.htm

The foundation interpretations come from African philosophy though. That is who developed the interpretations. I did not say their contributions don't matter, they do, but the credit they are being given is undue because they did not invent the foundation they are being given credit for, although they did play a substantial role in it.

Yup, whites own that completely.
