You falsely claim the Harper sold out our oil industry to China. It was not sold out. The 2020 report below says only 5.2% of the oil production in Canada is by Chinese state-owned companies. That is clearly not a sell out. Furthermore as I already stated, all oil companies must pay Alberta and Canada royalties and taxes. The majority of the oil industry in Canada is controlled by foreign companies, with the U.S. being the largest shareholder by far. It is necessary to have foreign companies develop the oil industry because that is where the companies exist that have the resources, investment, and ability to develop and run the oil industry. China has only a very small share of the total oil industry in Canada according to articles you can find on the internet. "While 10 of the 14 publicly traded oilsands companies have Canadian headquarters, only two of them—Athabasca Oil Corporation and Pengrowth Energy—are majority owned by Canadians. They account for just 1.5 percent of overall production, according to Berman. More than 52 percent of "oilsands production" is owned by American shareholders, which is more than twice the level of Canadian ownership, she added. Another 5.2 percent of production is owned by Chinese state-owned companies, according to the report." Report shows 70 percent of Canadian oilsands production is owned by foreign companies and shareholders | Georgia Straight Vancouver’s source for arts, culture, and events Note only 5.2% of oil production in Canada is owned by Chinese companies (state-owned).

No, that's not correct. China is a relatively small investor in Canadian oil sands, and the U.S. imports about 90% of Canadian oil. That means the U.S. is by far the largest importer of Canadian oil. China imports a small fraction of what U.S. imports from Canada. China is our second largest oil importer. So how can you claim we sold out our oil to the Chinese?????? They develop a small fraction of our oil and pay royalties and taxes to do it. Remember much of our resource industries are own or run by foreign companies. Most are porbably American. It doesn't matter which company has invested in the oil industry, they all must pay royalties on the oil products they extract and ship from the oil sands. That is billions of dollars for Canada. They also must hire many Canadians to work the industries. These people must pay income taxes just as the companies pay income taxes to the Canadian governments. You may be overblowing the effect of China having investment in the oil industry in Canada. Most of the oil industry is probably run by American owned companies. Foreign investment through these companies creates jobs and revenue for Canada. They can't escape paying royalties and taxes to Canada. The other point which you seemed to ignore is all the ways the Liberals have been liaisoning with China and allowing China to have growing influence in Canada. I gave a long list above to prove it. Rising Canada-China Energy Trade and the Continued Preponderance of the US in Canadian Oil Exports "China has become the second-largest importer of Canadian crude thanks to the TMX pipeline, but the US still dominates, receiving over 90% of Canadian oil exports - around 4 million bpd. TMX has thus also reshaped Canada’s energy ties with the US, boosting shipments to West Coast refineries relative to traditional Gulf Coast and Midwest markets. Since TMX’s May 2024 launch, both the volume and share of exports to the US West Coast have grown, pushing Canadian oil shipments to a record 4.3 million bpd in July 2024." TCI Energy Brief: One Year In, China is the Largest Purchaser of TMX Oil, Demonstrating the Viability of Canadian Energy Exports to the Asia-Pacific | The China Institute Well sell 90% of our oil to the U.S. But we sell a good part of the remaining 10% to China. We need to sell more internatlonally if we are going to become an energy superpower.

That was a bad decision, but it is just one sell out out of endless sell outs by Canada. I don't have the facts on how much the Conservative Party under Harper was selling out to China, other than that one decision which he seems to admit was a mistake. The federal government was interested in finding a company that would develop the oil sands. That is the reason for it, but Harper seems to have regretted it after. "Stephen Harper made it clear he wasn’t happy with the decision he made." Why did Harper invite the Chinese government to buy Canada’s tar sands? - resilience Remember Trudeau said he admired China's basic dictatorship! There are countless examples of the shocking involvement of the Liberals with China. quote "Just the Facts: Liberal party’s connections to China’s communist regime" Health Minister Patty Hadju recently said questioning China’s coronavirus propaganda is akin to promoting conspiracy theories. Prior to the last federal election, former Liberal MP and ambassador to China John McCallum advised Chinese officials not to hurt the Liberals’ chance of reelection. McCallum said the Conservatives would be harsher in holding China to account. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau even once said he admired China’s basic dictatorship. How much influence does the Communist Party of China have in Canada? Canada’s security officials have warned of growing Chinese influence for decades, but these warnings have been largely ignored by both current and former Liberal politicians. Here are some of the connections prominent Liberals have had with the communist regime: 1997 – The RCMP and CSIS published a joint report called Project Sidewinder, which examined the relationships between powerful players in China and Canada. Project Sidewinder recommended further investigations into Chinese influence in Canada, but the report was dismissed by the PMO under Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. 1998 – Project Sidewinder was reviewed and ultimately dismissed again by the Security Intelligence Review Committee, which at the time was led by MP Bob Rae. Rae would go on to become an interim Liberal leader. John Rae, brother of former Liberal leader Bob Rae and former Liberal campaign co–chair, is a senior manager of Power Corp. Power Corp has significant investments in China, including assets bought from the China International Trust Investment Corporation (CITIC), an investment firm owned by the Chinese government. André Desmarais, the deputy chair, president, and co–CEO of Power Corp was once appointed as a director of CITIC. Desmarais is the son–in–law of Jean Chrétien. Chrétien himself sat on the board of a Power Corp subsidiary before his election as Liberal leader. Project Sidewinder reported that the individuals the Chinese government hired to found CITIC had been accused of participating in organized crime in China and Hong Kong. Project Sidewinder also reported the CITIC illegally donated money to the U.S. Democratic Party and attempted to influence policy on behalf of China through policy in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. 1990s – Companies that Project Sidewinder identified as being influenced or controlled by China had heavily donated to the Liberal Party, including Merrill Lynch Canada and Husky Energy. During this time Husky Energy was owned by CITIC co–founder Li Ka–Shing. Chrétien once worked for Gordon Capital Inc., a company identified in Project Sidewinder as being influenced by China. Shortly after Chrétien left Gordon Capital Inc., the firm was purchased by Richard Li, the son of Li Ka–Shing. 2003 – The Liberals were accused of pressuring the RCMP into dropping an investigation into the alleged corruption of embassy officials in Hong Kong. The Liberals refused to start a public inquiry demanded by Canadian Alliance MPs. Former Liberal MP Geng Tan is reported to have worked for multiple organizations associated with the Chinese government. 2003 – Before Tan was elected to parliament, he was the president of a Chinese student association which was founded by the Chinese embassy. 2013 – Liberal leader Justin Trudeau said he admired China’s dictatorship. “There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China. Their basic dictatorship is actually allowing them to turn their economy around on a dime.” 2015 – Former BC Liberal MLA Richard Lee was arrested while in Shanghai, his phone was searched and he was denied access to consular services. Lee alleges that the Trudeau government ignored his repeated letters asking for help or assistance. 2015 – Former Ontario Liberal MPP and cabinet minister Michael Chan was accused of being influenced by the Chinese government. According to the Globe & Mail, Chan was once investigated by CSIS for his connections to the PRC. 2017 – As an MP, Tan was photographed meeting with officials from the United Front Work Department, a Chinese intelligence service that spies on foreign officials. 2019 – Former Ontario Liberal MPP and cabinet minister Michael Chan spoke at a pro–Beijing rally in Toronto, claiming that pro–democracy Hong Kong demonstrators were working on behalf of foreign agents. 2017 – Foreign Affairs Minister François–Philippe Champagne calls China a “beacon of stability, predictability, a rule–based system, a very inclusive society,” during an interview with a Chinese state–owned news outlet. 2019 – Trudeau–appointed Senator Yuen Pau Woo gave a speech at a Chinese alumni event in Vancouver that people should “pray every night” that the Chinese regime does not collapse like the Soviet Union did. 2019 – Former Liberal MP and ambassador to China John McCallum defends Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou. Meng is fighting extradition charges to the US. McCallum appeared to agree with the communist Chinese government’s narrative that Meng was arrested for political reasons. 2019 – Former Liberal MP and ambassador to China John McCallum advised Chinese officials not to hurt the Liberals’ chance of reelection. McCallum said the Conservatives would be harsher in holding China to account. 2020 – Trudeau–appointed Senator Yuen Pau Woo gave a speech at an event hosted by a group connected to the Chinese government. 2020 – Trudeau–appointed Chief Librarian and Archivist of Canada Leslie Weir accepted an all–expenses–paid trip to Beijing, sponsored by China, to attend a conference that celebrated “socialist culture.” 2020 – Chretien–appointed ambassador to China Howard Balloch praises former Chinese dictator Mao Zedong, saying he did “great things” during his murderous rule. Mao’s Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution directly led to the deaths of at least 45 million people. unquote Just the Facts: Liberal party’s connections to China’s communist regime | True North I doubt the Conservatives were involved with China to anything near the Liberals involvement, if at all. It seems to be in the Liberals DNA.

Yes, all of our governments in Canada have sold out to China. Pierre Trudeau was the leader of Canada and one of the first western countries to sign up and recognize Communist China in 1970 under Chairman Mao. We have been going down hill ever since and China's influence in and over Canada has been growing ever since.

Carney is the PM and therefore he is the only one who could remove all the anti-energy industry laws. Without him doing that, we will not become an energy superpower. So he is the roadblock unless he changes. He has so far supported the Trudeau era "kill the energy industry" laws. Do you really think he will get rid of the tanker ban on the BC north coast? Will he rescind the no more pipeline laws and remove the energy caps on the oil industry? Will he allow Canada to become an energy superpower in the world? Canada has the oil in the ground as the world's fourth largest source of oil. It could become an energy superpower and bring in billions of dollars to help pay for health care, meeting our NATO commitment, and reduce our huge national debt. But Carney is a World Economic Forum guy, a war on climate change kind of guy, and a U.N. globalist who believes in all that first. Canada's economy, energy industry success is not his priority. Carney is also the only one who can order the laws to be changed to keep dangerous offenders behind bars and stop the soft-on-crime criminal justice system. He talks about changing the laws, but how much will he, as a liberal, actually change to really stop all the crime?

The Canadian government and mainstream media are mainly silent about the systematic genocide of Christians in Nigeria, but have lots to say about what is going on in the war in Gaza. "Nigeria is the most dangerous place in the world to be a Christian. That’s not my opinion — it’s a fact backed by years of data. More Christians are murdered for their faith in Nigeria than in the rest of the world combined. Yet here in Canada, you hardly hear a word about it. If your news sources haven’t told you what’s going on in Nigeria, they’re failing you. Since 2009, when Boko Haram launched its insurgency, over 62,000 Christians have been murdered by Islamist groups. These aren’t isolated incidents or random flare-ups. They are targeted killings, organized and systematic. The perpetrators include Boko Haram, its ISIS-affiliated offshoot ISWAP, and radicalized Fulani herdsmen militias. Their actions go beyond violence. They burn churches, attack schools, abduct women and children, and drive families from land they’ve farmed for generations. More than 18,000 churches have been destroyed. This isn’t a conflict. This isn’t a clash of cultures. This is an attempt to wipe out Christianity in Nigeria. The numbers for this year alone are staggering. From January through August of 2025, more than 7,000 Christians have been killed — an average of about 30 every single day. Another 7,800 have been abducted. Benue State, in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, has been hit the hardest, with more than 1,100 deaths in that period. The massacres are often carried out with impunity. In June, 280 Christians were slaughtered in a single two-day attack in Yelwata. Imagine the outrage if 280 people were killed at once anywhere else in the world. Yet most media outlets barely gave it a mention, if at all. To date, the violence has displaced millions of people. Families have been forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Villages are emptied. Churches and schools are reduced to rubble. In some areas, the Christian presence has been erased entirely. Rights groups are warning that Nigeria is on the brink of obliterating entire Christian communities. So why the silence? Why are Canadians not hearing about this? We are quick to weigh in on conflicts in the Middle East, and rightly so. But when thousands of Christians are being killed in Nigeria, the silence is deafening. To quote Bill Marr, “To put it bluntly, if you don’t know what’s happening in Nigeria, you’re living in a media bubble.” The Nigerian government’s record makes matters worse. Critics, including American lawmakers and international human rights organizations, have pointed out again and again that Nigerian authorities rarely prosecute perpetrators. Security forces fail to protect communities under attack. In some cases, officials look the other way. That failure of basic governance has allowed violence to spread from the north into the central farming belt and southward. Nigeria currently ranks sixth on Open Doors’ World Watch List for Christian persecution, which measures where Christians face the worst hostility worldwide. Given the scale of killings, that ranking feels almost generous. Some dismiss this as a local conflict over land and resources, pointing to tensions between Fulani herders and Christian farmers. But that explanation ignores the jihadist ideology driving the militias. This is not just about grazing rights or farmland. It is about religion. Christians are being targeted as “infidels” in an explicit campaign to establish an Islamic caliphate in Nigeria. Boko Haram has said so openly. The Fulani militias that carry out mass raids blend this ideology with the resource conflict, making it even more lethal. Pretending otherwise is dishonest. This is closer to genocide than anything else. The goal is not coexistence, but elimination. Compare the numbers. More Christians have been killed in Nigeria since 2009 than the total number of people killed in Gaza in that same period. Yet the global outrage is nowhere to be found. Where are the marches? Where are the emergency debates at the United Nations? Why is the Canadian government silent? Here’s the uncomfortable truth: Canada is complicit if we continue to look away. We trade with Nigeria. We maintain diplomatic relations with a government that has proven either unable or unwilling to protect its citizens from extermination. Every barrel of oil purchased, every diplomatic courtesy extended, becomes harder to justify when weighed against the body count of Christians. Canada needs to take a stand. End trade with Nigeria until it demonstrates real action to protect its Christian population. Suspend diplomatic relations until we see prosecutions of those responsible. Use our position in international forums to push for sanctions and accountability. We can’t fix Nigeria’s problems, but we can stop pretending nothing is happening. Some will argue that disengagement won’t solve the problem. That’s true. But continuing business as usual sends a message that Canada doesn’t care about mass killings when the victims are Christians. At a minimum, Canada should be vocal in condemning these atrocities. Instead, we get silence. The numbers are undeniable. Over 100,000 Christians have been killed since 2009. Nearly 200,000 civilians in total. Millions displaced. Eighteen thousand churches burned. Those are facts, not exaggerations. This is happening right now in Africa’s most populous country, a country Canada trades with and recognizes as a partner. Silence in the face of that reality is cowardice. Canadians deserve to know the truth. They deserve to be told what’s happening to Christians in Nigeria. Because if we ignore it, if we turn the page and pretend it’s someone else’s problem, we are no better than the governments that look the other way while their people are slaughtered. What’s happening in Nigeria is alarming. The fact it hasn’t broken through to the top of our headlines is even more alarming. The Christian population in Nigeria is under siege, and if current trends continue, large parts of it will be erased in our lifetime. That is not speculation. That is the trajectory, unless something changes. Canada can’t claim to defend human rights while ignoring one of the worst human rights crises in the world today. We can’t claim to care about religious freedom while turning a blind eye to the systematic killing of Christians. If we want to stand for something, this is where we draw the line. Ending trade and suspending diplomatic relations with Nigeria may seem drastic. But when entire communities are being wiped out and millions are displaced, doing nothing is worse. The time for silence is over." KLEIN: Nigeria is erasing its Christians — and Canada is looking away

The Bible says this about how to treat the foreigners in your land: Exodus 22:21 “Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” – Exodus 22:21 Leviticus 19:33-34 “When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” – Leviticus 19:33-34 Deuteronomy 10:18-19 “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” – Deuteronomy 10:18-19 Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” – Matthew 25:35 Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” – Hebrews 13:2 In spite of how clear the Bible is about how to treat foreigners, many professing Christians take a very harsh view toward undocumented migrants and do not think they should receive any kind of help. This raises the question as to what kind of Christians are these people? Can one really be a Christian and act in cruelty toward the foreigner? It seems to be a serious contradiction.

" President Donald Trump and other high-ranking Republicans claim Democrats forced the government shutdown fight because they want to give free health care to immigrants in the U.S. illegally. Democrats are trying to extend tax credits that make health insurance premiums more affordable on marketplaces established by the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, and reverse Medicaid cuts in Trump’s big bill passed this summer. But immigrants who entered the country illegally are not eligible for either program. Here’s a closer look at the facts: CLAIM: Democrats shut down the government because they want to give free health care to immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally. THE FACTS: This is false. Democrats say they are pushing for the inclusion of key health care provisions in the next congressional spending package. In particular, they are seeking an extension of tax credits that millions of Americans use to buy insurance on the Affordable Care Act exchange and a reversal of Medicaid cuts made in the bill Trump signed into law in July. However, immigrants in the U.S. illegally are not eligible for any federal health care programs, including insurance provided through the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid. Hospitals do receive Medicaid reimbursements — which would be reduced under Trump’s bill — for emergency care that they are obligated to provide to people who meet other Medicaid eligibility requirements but do not have an eligible immigration status, according to KFF, a nonprofit health policy research, polling and news organization. This spending accounted for less than 1% of total Medicaid spending between fiscal years 2017 and 2023." Republicans make false claim about free health care to 'illegal immigrants' | AP News

This seems to be related to the debate in congress now. " White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt refused to say whether emergency rooms across the country should check immigration status before treating dying patients. While speaking to the press on Thursday, Leavitt would not say if the Trump administration supported the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA), which requires emergency rooms to treat anyone regardless of citizenship. The question came as Republicans argued that the government was shut down over health care for undocumented immigrants. "Should ERs check immigration status before treating a dying patient?" a reporter asked. "That's probably not a question for me to answer," Leavitt replied. "I think that's a question for healthcare professionals and legal access." "Tens of millions of illegal aliens from all over the world to come into our country," she continued. "And then they allowed those illegals from all over the world to get free benefits." "And there were higher wait times at hospitals under the Biden administration. We saw these illegals committing crimes all over our country, and they're getting things for free." As the reporter pressed, Leavitt declined to say that dying immigrants deserved lifesaving treatment. "I don't speak for emergency rooms across the country," she insisted. "I speak for the president of the United States. And that's what he believes on this policy." Karoline Leavitt declines to say if emergency rooms should treat dying immigrants

That is false. Israel possessed the land thousands of years ago and fought for it at different times in history. The Romans drove them out about 2,000 years ago and some lived there over the centuries. Then Muslims invaded and took control for a period of time until they were defeated. It is complex and you need to get educated. Many Jews returned to what is their land in the 20th century and declared their state of Israel in 1948. Are you another anti-Semite? Trump's madness has nothing to do with it. It doesn't negate the fact it belongs to Israel.

Never said organized religion is the solution. Organized religion is often a failure and there are many false organized religions in the world. The truth is you are a fallen, corrupt sinner like everyone else and in need of being redeemed. Ever thought about that? According to the Bible, there are two kinds of people in the world. Those who are unredeemed fallen sinners because everyone is born that way OR you are redeemed by faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in accordance with the Bible. That's the only choice everyone has. Unless you are redeemed, you will be lost for eternity. You should be thanking God that somebody told you that.

The truth is those nations that oppose the God of the Bible and his commands are in danger of judgment. How that judgment will come about is the question. Could it be the nation will fall just as many nations did in the past? But the Bible is definitely clear about individuals who do not repent and turn to the Lord and be born again. "10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. " Psalm 2: 10-12 KJV

Of course they could be built in B.C. As I explained it is a matter of will to do it. Politicians and bureaucrats just don't have the will and ability. Manpower and skilled people could be brought in from anywhere. They took the easy way out and just signed a contract with China to do it all. The present ferries are breaking down all the time and it will get much worse before the new ones arrive.
-
The government and BC Ferries could do anything if they really wanted. It is just a matter of leadership. The could even bring skilled ship building people in from other countries and have them build some ferries faster in B.C. if they really wanted to. They could hire some experienced builders from anywhere and bring them in and hire and train new people as well. It is a question of will. They don't care and won't bother. They have access to all the capital they need from BC and the federal government. I'm sure lots of companies would be attracted if the money were on the table. Investors go where the money is. But like everything the government touches, it is a failure. Government means bureaucracy and you know how that works. It is like a slow-moving train.
-
BC Ferries could have created thousands of good-paying jobs in BC, but they really screwed up by going to China. Should cancel the deal. Protect BC in Trump's trade war. The forest industry will be hit hard.

Do you really think your foul language is any kind of rational argument on a forum? Totally incoherent and disrespectful of other people's right to freedom of beliefs and freedom of speech. Nonsense. Politics and Biblical truth are locked together and you can't separate them. For example, this thread is about the Liberal government supporting dividing Israel into two, Palestine and Israel. This is against the Bible and against Israel. Therefore I gave the Biblical reasons why the Carney government is wrong. That evolved into a debate about the truth of the Bible, which it often does, because people like you don't accept the Bible. So that is the problem. You need to study the Bible and learn the truth. Things are not as you see them in the world. There is good and evil and there is a logical reason why that is so. Man did not evolve from a monkey or ape. Life is not an accident of the cosmos. The complex universe with the vast string of information in DNA in cells is not an accident of chemicals. It required a Creator we call God. If you can provide a better explanation, go for it.

The point is the prophecy about the virgin birth was made centuries before it happened. "1. The Virgin Birth One captivating prophecy centers on the Messiah’s miraculous birth. Long before it happened, the prophet declared, “Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son” (Isaiah 7:14). Centuries later, the Gospels record that Jesus was indeed born of a virgin. This fulfillment signals the beginning of a life filled with signs that only the hand of God could orchestrate." This prophecy was recorded in the Old Testament by the prophet Isaiah. Jesus born of a virgin is recorded in the gospel of Matthew and the gospel of Luke. This is just one of many miracles recorded by the Bible. Centuries before the birth of Christ, you have the history of Israel and miraculous events occurred in those days. Read the book of Exodus about the miracles that occurred to deliver Israel from slavery in Egypt. This included God parting the Red Sea so the Israelites could cross. The waters covered the Egyptians that followed them. God created the universe out of nothing. So these miracles he performed and recorded in the Bible are very small compared with creating the universe.

" Top 10 Bible Prophecies That Have Already Been Fulfilled 1. This fulfillment signals the beginning of a life filled with signs that only the hand of God could orchestrate. 2. Born in Bethlehem Another remarkable prediction pointed to a little Judean town: “But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah… from you will come forth for Me one to be ruler over Israel” (Micah 5:2). At first glance, Bethlehem hardly seemed like a place where a mighty King, let alone the Savior of the world, would arrive. Yet, Jesus was born there, fulfilling this promise word for word! 3. The Betrayal for Thirty Silver Coins Sometimes, the finest details underscore the truth of divine prophecy. Zechariah foretold, “So they paid me thirty pieces of silver” (Zechariah 11:12). In a turning point of the Gospel narratives, Judas Iscariot’s betrayal of Jesus for precisely thirty pieces of silver confirms how God’s Word leaves no loose ends. 4. The Triumphal Entry on a Donkey Picture the King of kings riding humbly into Jerusalem on a donkey’s colt—a scene announced in advance by the prophet Zechariah: “See, your King comes to you… gentle and riding on a donkey” (9:9). The New Testament account shows Jesus entering Jerusalem exactly this way, enthralling crowds who adored Him with shouts of praise. 5. The Suffering Servant Isaiah painted a vivid picture of the Messiah’s sacrificial mission: “He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities” (Isaiah 53:5). At the crucifixion, those words leaped to life as Jesus bore the sins of many, fulfilling a divine plan of redemption that was spoken centuries before. 6. The Outpouring of the Holy Spirit The prophet Joel made an astounding promise: “I will pour out My Spirit on all people” (Joel 2:28). After Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, the Holy Spirit was famously poured out on believers at Pentecost—a spiritual watershed that sparked the rapid spread of the good news throughout the world. 7. The Return from Babylon Sometimes God’s people found themselves far from home, but even then, His words held true. Jeremiah had predicted the return from exile: after seventy years, the people would come back (see Jeremiah 29:10). Scripture shows the captives were indeed freed to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple, testifying that divine promises are not empty words. 8. The Temple’s Destruction in AD 70 Jesus saw beyond His time on earth when He told His followers, “Not one stone will be left on another; every one will be thrown down” (Mark 13:2). In AD 70, the Roman army leveled Jerusalem’s Temple. This tragic event proved He was right, reminding us again that no prophecy in Scripture fails. 9. The Spread of the Gospel to All Nations What once seemed unthinkable—salvation reaching beyond Israel—was in fact prophesied: “I will make You a light for the nations, to bring My salvation to the ends of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6). From the day Jesus commissioned His disciples, the good news touched countless lives worldwide, fulfilling this grand design. 10. The Davidic Covenant on the Throne A final prophecy guaranteed that a descendant of David would establish an eternal kingdom. God had promised, “Your house and kingdom will endure forever before Me” (2 Samuel 7:16). When Jesus, known as the “Son of David,” took not an earthly throne but a spiritual one forged in heaven, that promise emerged clearly for all who believe. Each of these prophetic fulfillments offers a powerful reminder that when Scripture speaks, reality follows. The impact resonates throughout history—and continues to encourage hearts to this day. unquote Top 10 Bible Prophecies That Have Already Been Fulfilled

You forget the Bible does not claim to be a science book. The Bible is a supernatural book, a revelation from God to mankind. God created mankind and created science. Science is not a god and God is not subservient to man or man's science. So why would God need to prove anything about science? That wouldn't make sense. When something supernatural that God did is recorded in the Bible, it is just stated as a fact. Since God is omnipotent and omniscient and is the Creator, why would he need to get on his knees to prove anything to some skeptic on earth. God said "1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. {substance: or, ground, or, confidence} 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. " Hebrews 11:1-3 KJV Read that whole chapter of Hebrews ch.11. The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. God could have chosen to just create a bunch of robots, but he didn't do that.. He created mankind with the ability to think and choose. God wants people of faith, not people of unbelief who demand everything be proven to them. The Bible has enough information in it to give man faith if one reads it with an open mind.

You are correct in saying there are many people who made predictions over the years, but many of those predictions turned out to be false. There are many prophecies in the Bible that have already been fulfilled proving the credibility and authenticity of the prophecies. There are other prophecies in the Bible yet to be fulfilled in the future. And yes there have been made false religions in the world, but if you studied and understood the Bible you would see the difference between false religion and the truth of the Bible. "False religions, and the consequences of following them, are themes addressed in the Bible. Although the texts don't always directly describe false religions as we might define them today, they provide valuable insights about idolatry, heresies, and the importance of genuine faith. In this article, we will explore how several Bible passages paint a broader picture of false religions and the Biblical exhortations to avoid them. Idolatry and False Worship Galatians 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, lists idolatry among the works of the flesh. Idolatry in the Bible often refers to the worship of physical idols or gods other than the God of Israel. But more broadly, idolatry encompasses any kind of substitute for God, such as placing undue importance on wealth, power, or even ideology. In the modern context, idolatry can take various forms, including materialism, where individuals place possessions over spiritual well-being, or extreme nationalism, where a country or leader becomes a focal point of unquestioning devotion. The Bible warns that such practices lead to moral and spiritual degradation. Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Jesus emphasizes the emptiness of worship that is based on human traditions rather than God's commandments. This principle can be applied to religions or religious practices that prioritize rituals and external forms over genuine spiritual transformation and sincere devotion to God. Deception and False Prophets Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. This prophecy from Jesus warns about the perils of deception by false prophets and false Messiahs. The New Testament repeatedly cautions believers to be vigilant and discerning, aware that many will come in the name of Christ to lead people astray. False prophets may appear credible, even performing miracles, but their teachings will ultimately diverge from the truth of the Gospel. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. John instructs believers to test the spirits to determine whether they are from God. This process involves comparing teachings and prophecies against the core tenets of the Christian faith as revealed in the Bible. Discernment is crucial because false teachings can lead individuals away from true faith. Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Repeating a similar theme, Mark again records Jesus's warnings about deceptive signs and wonders aimed at leading even the most faithful astray. These warnings underscore the importance of grounding oneself in the truth of God's word. unquote False Religions in the Light of Biblical Teachings by Digital Bible

quote Facts that Prove the Bible’s Authenticity Now, like I said, this is where it gets interesting. Some people may accredit the following facts about the Bible to be “coincidence,” but anyone who knows the Lord and follows Him knows that there are no “coincidences” where God is concerned. In fact, the Bible states that God “works all things according to the counsel of His will” (Ephesians 1:11) and He “does everything for a purpose” (Proverbs 16:4). As you read the following facts, consider every “coincidence” that would have to fall into place so perfectly for the compilation of the Bible to be as complete as it is. (All of these facts can be found through an internet search.) The Bible was written by over 40 different men of various backgrounds. The backgrounds of these men include kings, prophets, fishermen, doctors, shepherds, farmers, and priests. All of these men wrote independently of one another. There was no collaboration. These men wrote on three different continents – Europe, Asia and Africa. The Bible was written in three different languages – Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. The Bible was written over a 1,500-year period. The message through every book of the Bible is consistent, and this message reveals God to humanity and informs them that they can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. (click here to learn about salvation) There are approximately 1,817 prophecies in the Bible and at least half of them have already been fulfilled as written. These Are Just Facts, They Don’t Prove Anything You may be asking the question: how do these facts prove the Bible’s authenticity, they’re just facts? Well, I suggest you ponder these questions: How can it be those 40 different men, on three different continents, writing in three different languages, over a 1,500 year period all write the same message without any collaboration? How could every book in the Bible point to the same message surrounding God’s plan of redemption for humanity and all point to one person, Jesus Christ? How can one book contain 1,817 prophecies and have half of them come to pass exactly as written? You see, if a Higher Power – in this case the Lord God Almighty – orchestrated and inspired all the writers of the Bible, then there can be no doubt that He exists. The facts alone prove that. The Bible cannot be pushed aside as a fictional book that was written by “coincidence.” Just the fulfilled prophecies alone prove the Bible’s Authenticity. Also, there are great benefits to reading the Bible everyday. God gave us His Word so that we would not have to guess about right or wrong or live our lives without instruction. God loves us so much that He made sure we had His words written down. AND… the Bible is God’s way of speaking directly to us. (click here to read about the Benefits of Reading the Bible Everyday) But Wait…there’s Also Tangible Evidence Yes, the facts mentioned above prove the Bible’s authenticity, but there is also tangible evidence. Over the years, archeology has confirmed that the people, sites, and battles written about in the Bible are real. As it states in Psalm 85:11 “Truth shall spring out of the earth” and that is exactly what has happened over the years. There are numerous relics that have been excavated that point right back to Biblical scripture. (click here to read more about archology proving the Bible’s authenticity) In addition, several Biblical manuscripts have been found over the years. For example, the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947, validating Biblical writings. The discovery includes fragments of at least 190 Biblical scrolls. Although most of the manuscripts have been fragments, there has been the discovery of a complete scroll of the Book of Isaiah. Archeologists have recovered almost every book of the Old Testament. Dead Sea Scrolls If You’ve Never Read the Bible, Start Today There are so many facts and evidence that proves the Bible’s authenticity. It is hard to believe that there are many people who deny that the Bible contains the very words of God. If you are one of those who have doubts, I pray that you would do some research and start reading the Bible. Believe me, you are missing out on so much by not reading it. If you do decide to read the Bible, you will find that God is loving and kind and wants everyone to see Him for who He truly is – He is our Creator, He is our Father.
