This country has had it. The Federal energy minister just announced it is up to the B.C. Premier, David Eby, to agree to a pipeline. This is completely false. The federal government is the one that is responsible for inter provincial pipelines. We have already been through this scenario with the TMX pipeline expansion. The BC NDP government opposed the expansion but the federal government took it over and got it built. The BC NDP fought against it in the court and lost. So what has changed since the TMX pipeline was built? What has changed is we have a different PM in Ottawa, who opposes pipelines and opposes the energy industry. He is a World Economic Forum globalist and held a high position on the U.N. climate change panel. Now he controls the federal government. That is what has changed. He appointed an energy minister who agrees with him and opposes any new pipeline and opposes making Canada an energy superpower.

Man is only a created being. God created man and questioning God and saying how He should do things just doesn't sound right. God is not a political leader whom we can criticize or demand anything. We must approach God on bended knee so to speak and with a contrite spirit. God owes man nothing. We are the sinners in need of forgiveness, mercy, and grace. I don't know who is predestined to receive eternal life. But the Bible seems to make it clear it is God who foreordains those who will be saved. In light of this it is wise to have a very humble attitude about God and realize our place in this universe which He created. We are as specks of dust. "215 ROM 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. EPH 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. 216 2TH 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2CO 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 217 ROM 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. EPH 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved). 2TI 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." The first question is which god? There are many false gods in the world and many false religions based on them. The true God is revealed in the Bible, in English, the King James Bible. Proverbs chapter one tells us "7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. " Proverbs 1:7 KJV "7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." Proverbs 3:7 KJV The Westminster Confession of Faith, chap. X. Of Effectual Calling says: I. All those whom God hath predestinated unto life, and those only, He is pleased, in His appointed time, effectually to call, 215 by His Word and Spirit, 216 out of that state of sin and death, in which they are by nature to grace and salvation, by Jesus Christ; 217 enlightening their minds spiritually and savingly to understand the things of God, 218 taking away their heart of stone, and giving unto them an heart of flesh; 219 renewing their wills, and, by His almighty power, determining them to that which is good, 220 and effectually drawing them to Jesus Christ: 221 yet so, as they come most freely, being made willing by His grace. 222 II. This effectual call is of God's free and special grace alone, not from anything at all foreseen in man, 223 who is altogether passive therein, until, being quickened and renewed by the Holy Spirit, 224 he is thereby enabled to answer this call, and to embrace the grace offered and conveyed in it. 225 III. Spirit, 226 Elect infants, dying in infancy, are regenerated, and saved by Christ, through the who works when, and where, and how He pleases: 227 so also are all other elect persons who are incapable of being outwardly called by the ministry of the Word. 22 unquote The Westminster Confession of Faith This confession and verses in the Bible such as in Romans ch9 appear to support the teaching in the Westminster Confession of Faith, that it is entirely God's prerogative who he calls. " 13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Romans 9:13-16 KJV

That is false to begin with. Not every scientist on earth believes in man-made climate change. There are a large percentage who say they believe in it, but likely almost all of them never did any studies themselves on it and are just going along with the general opinions. None of it has been proven. Here are a few scientists who disagree with the man-made climate change claims. quote 1. Richard Lindzen: The Atmospheric Physicist Proposed the controversial “iris hypothesis,” intimating that Earth has a natural cloud feedback mechanism to temper warming. Richard Lindzen’s Profile at MIT EAPS His critique of climate models focuses on their inability to encapsulate atmospheric processes comprehensively. Richard Lindzen’s Work on Climate Models Although highly esteemed in atmospheric sciences, his theories generally represent a fringe view among most climate scientists. Richard Lindzen’s Wikipedia Page 2. Bjørn Lomborg: The “Skeptical Environmentalist” He acknowledges human-induced climate change but contends its dangers are overblown. Bjørn Lomborg’s Website Advocates cost-benefit analyses prioritizing other pressing global challenges like economic development and healthcare over climate control. Bjørn Lomborg’s Work on Cost-Benefit Analysis Supports incremental environmental solutions over aggressive policies. Bjørn Lomborg’s Policy Recommendations 3. Judith Curry: The Uncertainty Specialist Curry has formerly held the chair position of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech. Judith Curry’s Profile at Georgia Tech Her work primarily focuses on uncertainties surrounding climate models and natural climate variability. Judith Curry’s Blog on Climate Uncertainty She suggests that mainstream climate scientists regularly underestimate the complexity and uncertainty intrinsic to future climate conditions forecasts. No, I don't believe it threatens our prosperity and survival. The real threat is from those who want to kill the fossil fuel industry. The whole world depends on fossil fuels for survival and will for the foreseeable future. There is no real alternative that could take the place of fossil fuels. It has not been proven that manmade emissions is causing significant climate change. That is a huge lie that much of the world has swallowed. It could cost the world great harm to cut off fossil fuels.

First you have to understand when God created Adam and Eve, he gave them freedom of choice but he also told them they could eat any fruit in the garden of Eden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the garden. When God created mankind, he could have just created robots which would obey his commands or he could give them free will. God chose to give mankind free will. Why was that? Maybe you can explain. Try to look at it from God's point of view. He gave them free will but with the hope they would honour God by obeying his simple instruction not to eat that particular fruit. His purpose in creating man would seem to be share his love. If you study the Scriptures you will learn God is love and he loves mankind. Certainly God didn't need mankind. He is omnipotent and omniscient and omnipresent. He is also a loving God and a merciful God. How much does he love man? Well, consider this. God sent his own unique Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to die on a cross to pay for man's sin against God. He suffered the most painful treatment and death on the cross. That must be incredible love in that he did that for an atonement for man's sinful character. He is doing something about it, but on his own timetable. Nobody is getting away with anything. There is judgment after death. And Jesus Christ is returning to earth at some point and will rule on earth for 1,000 years. After that, he will create a new heaven and new earth. Everything that is happening on earth is according to God's providence. We don't fully understand it but God has a plan. Sure God could have just created robots instead of free-thinking humans. But what would be the purpose for God of having a bunch of robots? So as I explained, man was given free will. But man broke the trust and relationship with God by his rebellion and this meant man had made his own fallen nature. God is perfection. Everything happens in God's timetable. Remember God is omnipotent and we are the mere created beings. God's timetable is a long one. But he hasn't disappeared. He dealt with man's fallen corrupt nature as I said. Everyone has the choice to get on board by studying the KJV Bible and believing what it says in the New Testament. God isn't finished with man. Life does not end at death. God created man with a soul and spirit. There is life after death and God's Son, Jesus is returning to earth at some point. Those who believe in God's Son, Jesus Christ, repent of their sins, and believe Jesus' death on the cross paid for their sins personally, receive eternal life now and will live forever in paradise with Him. That sounds like a loving God to me and an incredible offer, which I gladly took. I don't know how much time I have left here, but I know where I am going. I praise the Lord for his great salvation. Amen.

So you are talking in circles and not making sense. I already explained man does take reasonable measures to not pollute the environment and protect the country. Could improvements be made such as reducing the pollution of the ocean with plastics and other things of course. But you have to be reasonable. Whenever humans live and move there is going to be some effect on the environment. That is expected. We can't live without leaving some evidence of our being on earth. But it is foolish to think we should eliminate one industry which is essential for man's survival and prosperity on earth.
-
Mankind always has an impact on the environment but man does keep the impact to a minimum. All industries and the mere existence of man on earth has some impact. God created man and gave him dominion over the earth. The oil industry is a vital industry and required for mankind everyone for fuel and many other products. It can be managed for minimal impact on the environment just as any other industry and presence of man. Contrary to what environmentalists believe, man has a right to exist on earth and use its resources to provide a good life for everyone.

I'm surprised you don't know how it would benefit Canada. A pipeline to the north coast would allow Canada to sell much more oil to Asia and the rest of the world. It would therefore increase production and create thousands of jobs in the construction and operation process. This would bring in billions of dollars in royalties, corporate taxes, and private income taxes to Alberta and the federal government. It would create thousands of spin off jobs as well. Canada could become an energy superpower. It would also enable Canada to move away from dependency on the U.S. as our main customer, which pays a lower price for our oil. Perhaps a refinery in Prince Rupert or area could also provide more lower cost fuel products to B.C.
-
Doesn't matter what you want. Billions of people around the world depend on oil products for everything. If you don't like it, stop using it yourself and set an example of how it would be done without any oil products....LOL Maybe try living in a cave and eating off the land like the bears do. See how you like it.

The BC NDP has made a mess of the province in many ways. Thousands of condominiums in greater Vancouver are empty and unsold even though nobody can afford the rent or cost of homes in greater Vancouver area. " Many condominiums in Vancouver are empty due to several factors: High Construction Costs: The cost of building condos has significantly increased, making them unaffordable for a large portion of the local population. Market Oversupply: There is an oversupply of newly built condos, with about 2,500 units currently unsold, leading to low pre-sales and buyer hesitation. Economic Uncertainty: Broader economic issues and uncertainty about the housing market have contributed to a lack of interest from buyers. Government Policies: Recent government policies have increased the cost of building, making it difficult for developers to build new projects economically. These factors combined have created a challenging environment for condominiums in Vancouver, resulting in many units remaining empty. 5 Sources

Pipelines are federal jurisdiction. BC has no say in it. BC is full of left wing eco warriors and anti industry nuts. That's why the dummies voted for the NDP in BC. Now nobody can afford to buy a home in Vancouver or even afford the high rents. Many condominiums are sitting empty in Vancouver too. Why is that? Many in Vancouver and Van Island are NDP and things are getting very expensive thanks to them. The BC govt is deep in debt now. BC has become a basket case under the NDP.

The question is are you on your way to heaven or to hell? Can you explain that? Two points. 1. You are using a perverted version of the Bible to begin with. Read the article at this link: The New International PERVersion - NIV Then get a King James Bible (1611). 2. You don't seem to have any idea how to understand the Bible. You need help. Maybe go to a local Bible-believing church and ask if someone could help you. Don't assume you know how to understand the Bible on your own. Get help.

Capitalism has proven to be the best system in the world. All you have to do is look at which countries are the richest in the world, and they are all capitalist countries. Socialism has failed where it has been tried. When you take the money away from those who are the best at making money and give it to the rest of population, you kill incentive and destroy investment and innovation. You destroy development and progress.
