  1. You don't have a clue of what the government is doing. The federal government apparently spent 12.3 billion dollars on various forms of foreign aid in the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Statistical Report on International Assistance 2023-2024 That is a staggering amount of money. Meanwhile the government is sliding further and further into debt, approaching 100 billion dollars. We have all kinds of problems in Canada that the government should be taking care of first.
  2. You don't need the word socialism to understand what the Bible says about it. God condemns stealing in the Bible. The Bible therefore endorses the right to own property. Socialism rejects that right and believes if governments takes money away from you it must not be stealing. In a democracy, many believe if government legalizes socialism, it is not stealing. They call it democratic socialism. Perhaps taxation up to a certain point can be justified to provide basic services such as roads, police department, fire department, armed forces, and old age pensions. But if you believe there is no limit to what government can do, then you are supporting socialism or stealing from individuals.
  3. I think I posted the article that explains that. I guess you never read it. Socialism is basically stealing; that's why the Bible is against it. I possibly incorrectly capitalized the word. But I wasn't capitalizing it to make it look like it was in the Bible. You are making up a false accusation again. I just looked up capitalization of the word and found it is capitalized if is referring to a particular political party or its members. It is not capitalized when used in discussion about political ideologies. I learned something there. However, if it part of the title of an article it is correct to capitalize it. Title of articles are often capitalized. Nothing wrong with that. The bottom line it is a matter of individual preference if someone wants to capitalize a word to give it more prominence right? Sometimes people capitalize every character in a word to emphasize it. Is that a crime?
  4. The word social has a different meaning than the word Socialism. social - tending to form cooperative and interdependent relationships with others Infants can become social beings only through interaction with others.—Gerald R. Leslie and Sheila K. Korman : living and breeding in more or less organized communities especially for the purposes of cooperation and mutual benefit : not solitary socialism - : any of various egalitarian economic and political theories or movements advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. The word social refers to relationships between individuals. Socialism is not the same at all. It is a political ideology or system. The word Socialism may be capitalized because it is the name of a political system.. same with the word Capitalism or Communism. Nothing wrong with capitalizing the word. I never said the word Socialism is in the Bible and never pretended it was. You love to make things up don't you.
  5. I tried several searches for the word social in the King James Bible but could not find a list. All I get is references to verses that use the idea of social. But those have nothing to do with Socialism. "Key point: Exodus 20:15, Exodus 20:17, Ephesians 4:28, and 2 Thessalonians 3:10 are four of many passages destroying socialism and upholding the tenets of free enterprise."

  7. Another article says "Smyth: Canada sent 383 people to the UN climate conference, more than Australia, the U.K. and U.S. together" Our governments have been ripping off the taxpayers for years and continue to do so. Why don't the RCMP investigate this? Socialism apparently is just a rip off of taxpayers. Whatever politicians decide is in their interests to do, they do it and you and I pay for it. Once you give them a free reign over our money, there is no end to the spending. They will even spend Canadians into vast debt, like now, a 100 billion dollar debt coming up soon. But what do you care about all this spending of taxpayer money? You and herbie are blind, deceived supporters of Liberals. In your mind they can do no wrong, right?
  8. False. Nice try but you obviously don't understand the world and what we're talking about. 1. There are capitalist governments and there are Socialist governments in the world. Some governments are far more Socialist than others. 2. The subject is our government using taxpayer money to send to foreign countries instead of taking care of Canadians. That is a form of global Socialism. Seems that Carney is more interested in taking care of the rest of the world than the people of Canada whom he was elected to serve. That should come as no surprise because he has been a strong globalist for years. He held positions on the WEF, the UN, the Vatican, and various other international organizations. So that seems to be where his interests lie. Of course the Liberal party is that way too. They have a history of diving into global matters and have been whole-hearted supporters of the U.N. What can we expect when the Liberals are globalists as well as Socialists. The Liberal PMs, their ministers and entourage love to jet set around the world and wine and dine with the other globalists. What can we expect? Under Trudeau 276 delegates from Canada went to the Paris climate conference at taxpayer expense. More than any other G7 country. Remember that? We the taxpayers are being used constantly as suckers. We put them in those positions and give them a free reign on taxpayer money and they are using it to their advantage as much as possible. Nothing like living high off the hog at other's expense. But the rest of us must work in ordinary jobs and pay for all this luxury living by politicians.
  9. quote All Forms of Socialism Are Theft Central to the moral argument against socialism and quasi-socialism is the 8th commandment: You shall not steal (Exodus 20:15; Deuteronomy 5:19). This command teaches the concept of private property and forbids the taking of property from an innocent person. God added to this condemnation of socialism by prohibiting envy in the 10th commandment: You shall not covet (Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21). God is a capitalist, which we know because God endorses private property. This is inferred from the 8th commandment. The prohibition of theft assumes that people own things. Of course, everything in this world belongs to God. Yet He has delegated control and responsibility of things to individuals. We call this private property rights. Everyone understands this concept. No one likes others stealing their belongings, and they therefore do things to prevent theft, such as lock their door at night. It is also the case that every civilized society prohibits theft. People have property rights, and the government should protect such rights. Yet this all breaks down for many people when the government gets involved. It is wrong for Bob to take a quarter of your income. But if Bob and his friends lobby the government, politicians pass legislation, and the government gives one quarter of your money to Bob, then all is right. This is exactly how the typical Western welfare state works. The government enacts a variety of taxes (sales tax, income tax, FICA, tariffs, etc.) and then redistributes the money to a variety of classes (the poor, students, elderly, disabled, politically well-connected, etc.). But this is not called “theft” because, well, the government says so. This situation exposes one of the chief flaws of democracy, a system where two wolves and a lamb vote on what to eat for dinner. Thus, modern societies have made an exception to the 8th commandment—“You shall not steal, except by majority vote.” One person cannot take your stuff, but if enough people vote to take your stuff, then it is “legal.” And if it is legal, then it is morally acceptable. Christians are enabling this problem by limiting the 8th commandment to individuals instead of societies. However, the 8th commandment provides no such limitation. Groups are made up of individuals, and stealing is still stealing when done by a group. unquote The Bible Prohibits Socialism — Knowing Scripture Nothing wrong with individual charity. We have lots of charitable organizations that help the poor in other countries. How much have you donated to private charities? You like the government to give taxpayer's money to other countries but that is stealing from taxpayers to give to others. That is not charity. That is Socialism. You also accuse me for opposing Socialism. But you are a false accuser because Socialism is against the Bible.

  11. Where do you think foreign aid money comes from? Rob the taxpayers to spread around the world. We don't need politicians who make $400,000 a year plus robbing taxpayer's money to spread around the world. How about promoting personal charity instead of Communism? Jesus never advocated Communism. When was the last time you read the Bible? Why doesn't Carney ask the Pope to start giving billions of dollars to Nicaragua and all the other poor countries? Carney had a high position in the Vatican and has lots of connections. The Vatican is the richest corporation in the world and has billions, probably trillions of dollars in banks and real estate.
  12. That should be investigated by the RCMP and a public enquiry.
  13. Leviticus 19:28 KJV is very clear about opposing tattooing. Why do think it doesn't apply today?
  14. This is shocking but true. Canada is putting 8 million dollars into helping farmers in Nicaragua. Meanwhile Carney's 100% tariff on Chinese EVs is killing the Canola farming in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Many Canadians are also forced to go to food banks to get enough food for their families. People can't afford to buy a home because of the high cost of homes. Cities are full of street people living in tents or sleeping in doorways. Why is this happening? Well, the one reason would appear to be because Carney is a globalist and feels he is representing all countries, not just Canada and must give aid (our tax money) to various other countries in the world. He has been a major official on many international organizations such as the World Economic Forum and the Vatican. Therefore we as Canadians must pay for any of his global pet projects. Nicaragua is largely a Catholic country and so Canada must help them. Ask the Vatican. They will tell you. Canada provides cash for help small-scale farmers in Nicaragua – David Akin’s On The Hill
  15. I thought you opposed mixing religion with politics; yet that is exactly what Carney is doing with his two-state solution for Israel. You are ok with that no doubt, but oppose any Bible believer from having any say in politics. Carney who is a devout Catholic is persecuting Israel. The Catholic Church has been persecuting Jews all through history in Europe. That culminated in the Holocaust and death of six million Jews in Europe at the hands of Hitler and the Nazis who the Vatican signed a Concordat with. The Catholic Church doesn't believe Israel has a right to exist and Carney, being a devout Catholic, follows whatever Rome says on Israel and proclaims he recognizes two states. Carney thinks he is following God but that's not what God says in the Bible. There is no dividing Israel into two states even hinted at in the Bible. It is purely an invention of the Catholic Church to claim more authority and recognition for themselves as they have done for 1,500 years. The Pope would move his headquarters to Jerusalem if he had the chance. Don't believe it? Do some investigation and find out.
  16. Quit lying herbie. I don't hate Catholics. Read the last paragraph pasted from a website. It says the Catholic Church does not recognize the right of Israel to exist as a nation. Carnie, a devout Catholic, is pushing the two-state nonsense. That would make Israel very weak and unable to survive.
  17. PM Carney is a devout Catholic who held high positions in the Vatican and U.N. and the Catholic Church, which do not recognize Israel's right to exist as a nation. This clearly puts him in a conflict of interest in making policies on Israel, especially advancing a two-state policy in the strident way he has. quote Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney are shown in this composite image. Mark Carney says that Benjamin Netanyahu would be arrested if he travelled to Canada. The prime minister made the remark in an interview with British journalist Mishal Husain on her podcast released Friday. In the 37-minute episode, Carney touched on a wide range of topics. He talked about why he ran for office, what he learned from U.S. President Donald Trump and what his next steps were after recognizing Palestinian statehood. The end goal “is a free and viable Palestinian state living side by side, peace and security, with the state of Israel,” said Carney. The actions of the Netanyahu government, he said, “were explicitly designed to end any possibility of a state of Palestine in violation of the UN charter and going against Canadian government policy of whatever political stripe since 1947.” Since 1947, the policy of the Canadian government has been to support a two-state solution, said Carney in September, when he officially recognized Palestinian statehood. Jewish groups condemned the choice and said it would reward and embolden Hamas terrorists. But, according to Carney, the recognition doesn’t compromise Canada’s support “for the State of Israel, its people, and their security,” — which can only “be guaranteed through the achievement of a comprehensive two-state solution.” In the podcast, Carney said that although the U.S. disagreed with the recognition, the “common objective is the same.” “You’re going to have to keep up the pressure on the Israeli government,” in order to achieve a Palestinian state “living side by side with a secure Israel,” Husain said to Carney. “Justin Trudeau said that Canada would honour the International Criminal Court arrest warrants i.e. Benjamin Netanyahu would be arrested if he came to Canada.” She then asked: “Does that stand under your leadership?” “Yes,” Carney replied. “You’d be prepared to do that?” asked Husain. “Yes,” said the prime minister. “We’ve let terrorist organizations turn our country into an ATM, but the leader of the only Jewish state in the world isn’t welcome here. Make it make sense,” said Casey Babb, a senior fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. “What? Hamas thanked Carney when he derailed a peace proposal on the eve of a trade deal deadline with the USA. Now Hamas is publicly executing competing Palestinian factions. But (Mark Carney) tells Bloomberg he would arrest PM Netanyahu? Astonishing!” said Conservative MP Roman Baber in a post on X. The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in November 2024. It alleged that the Israeli prime minister was “responsible for the war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population” in Gaza, starting on Oct. 8, 2023. A day earlier, on Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists murdered 1,200 people in Israel and took 251 hostages, sparking a war in the Middle East. Israel has denied claims of genocide and starvation. A BBC report found that Hamas “systematically commandeered humanitarian aid entering the Strip,” giving it to people loyal to terrorists, The Times of Israel said . The ICC rejected Israel’s request to withdraw the arrest warrant. The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, a Canadian advocacy group, called on the government to “unequivocally reject this perversion of justice” after the warrant was issued. It said that it has “given solace” to terrorist groups “in their war of extermination against Israel” and made a “mockery of international law.” The Israel-Hamas war is far from over Hamas reasserts control on streets of Gaza, turning guns on its rivals. unquote Would Netanyahu be arrested if he travelled to Canada? 'Yes,' Carney says I can't help wondering if his commitment to globalism, the World Economic Forum has something to do with it. "Prime Minister Mark Carney, sworn in Friday, has a history with the World Economic Forum (WEF.) He is a member of its foundation board, the organization’s highest governing body, which oversees strategic direction. We may assume therefore, that he is in sympathy with the goals of the World Economic Forum." SNELL: Carney — the World Economic Forum's new man in Ottawa? His globalist links are massive. " According to his LinkedIn profile, Carney remains a finance adviser to the British government. He’s also on an advisory board for a finance firm named PIMCO. In addition, he is a board member at online payments firm Stripe, a board member for Bloomberg Philanthropies and Chair and Head of Transition Investing at Brookfield Asset Management, a major global commercial real estate firm. Last year, Carney was awarded just shy of $1 million USD in deferred shares by Brookfield, it’s nice work if you can get it. In addition to his business work, Carney is the United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance. He is also a board member of the World Economic Forum, a position he has held since 2010." Carney is Trudeau's new economic adviser, who will he serve? | Toronto Sun "Former Bank of Canada and Bank of England governor Mark Carney launched his bid for the leadership of the Liberal Party Jan. 16. His adherence to the Catholic faith is better known outside of Canada, even though he sits on the Vatican’s Steering Committee of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism. On Jan. 16, Mark Carney launched his campaign for the leadership of the Liberal Party. If successful, the former Governor of the Bank of Canada would become the 11th Catholic prime minister of Canada. His Catholic bona fides are rarely mentioned in Canada, but featured more prominently after his move to the U.K. In 2015, two years after taking up the helm as governor of the Bank of England, The Tablet listed Carney as the most influential Catholic in Britain. A 2021 Wall Street Journal article noted that Carney “goes to Catholic church at least once a week, meditates and is a fan of Benedictine monk Laurence Freeman, the director of the World Community of Christian Meditation.” Now back in Canada, his Catholicism plays a negligible role in the discussion of his eligibility for the nation’s premier political post. Given that every Canadian prime minister, apart from Kim Campbell and Stephen Harper, since 1968 has been Catholic, the lack of interest in his churchmanship is hardly surprising. What draws more attention is the prominent role Carney has taken on multiple international committees and policy-shaping initiatives since leaving the Bank of England in 2020. If ever there was a man who fit the profile of the Samuel P. Huntington-coined phrase “Davos Man,” it is Carney. (Davos Man is a term that describes a wealthy global “elite” who prioritizes their own interests over the common good and often describes people who attend the World Economic Forum, or WEF, in Davos). His Wikipedia page reads as a curriculum vitae of a globalizing elite. It is a profile for which he is both lauded and pilloried in equal measure." The Catholic or the Davos Man? | The Catholic Register Here's the thing. Carney is a devout Catholic and has held many globalist positions, including in the Vatican and the U.N. We know from the history of the past 70 years, the U.N. is no fan of Israel. The U.N. passed endless resolutions against Israel. The Catholic Church also does not recognize Israel's right to exist as a nation. That means Carney is making decisions affecting Israel while he is in a conflict of interest as a prominent Catholic and U.N./globalist. "The Catholic Church does not recognize Israel's right to exist as a nation. Instead, it views the Church as the spiritual continuation of the Jewish people, known as the "new Israel." This perspective is rooted in the Church's understanding of the covenant God made with Abraham, which is considered eternal and unchangeable. The Church maintains that the Jewish people have a special place in God's eternal plan, but it does not grant them a right to self-determination or the establishment of a nation-state. The Church's stance is based on its interpretation of biblical texts and theological teachings, which emphasize the Church's role as the continuation of the covenant with God. 18. Christians are motivated because they are sons of God and believe it is their duty. Nothing arrogant about that. What motivates you to act the way you do?
  19. No, humans have not acted humanely towards one another. Take a look at the rest of the world like Russia, China, and the middle east where there was no Judeo-Christian civilization. The slaughtered each other endlessly. They still don't respect human rights in many places, while the west has democracy and human rights. There is nothing arrogant about respecting your fellow man as Biblical Christians try to do. The west has been far better off that way. Try living in China, North Korea or Iran and see how you like it.
  20. That is a really ignorant comment. Our whole system of parliamentary democracy and laws respecting human rights evolved over time because our society is built on Judeo-Christian principles. You have not studied anything on how our western society came to be and have your head in the sand. So you believe Socialist-liberal ideology instead and progressivism which has being destroying our society in many ways. We now have school kids being taught in schools it is alright to change their gender and become a trans kid. Also, it is kept secret from the parents. Every person in society has their own beliefs, which they have a right to and every politician has their personal beliefs which determine how they vote in some cases. Liberalism is destroying our Judeo-Christian civilization with its belief in things like multiculturalism, same sex marriage, MAID, abortion, etc. etc. The family structure is being attacked and weakened in every way possible because liberals do not believe in it. Do we need to point these evil things out? You should be able to put 2 and 2 together and see it yourself. Belief in the Bible and our historic Judeo-Christian principles of justice instead of the liberal belief of soft-on-crime is the only thing that is preventing complete chaos in society. We are in a deep mess now with criminals getting off or very light sentences. Illicit drug deaths are out of control and there is rampant crime on the streets of many cities. Nobody is safe.
  21. The state does have the right if it so chooses to pass a law to bring in capital punishment. You are quoting U.S. statistics which is not similar to Canada's at all. I did a search but am unable to locate the actual statistics in Canada to show the number of wrongful convictions for murder charges. But one website lists ten prominent wrongful convictions since 1969. That is over a period of 56 years. How many people do you think have been murdered in Canada in the past 56 years? Probably in the thousands. So if the justice system is modified to reduce the number of mistakes, it may be possible to save a lot of lives with capital punishment as a deterrent. Otherwise we are approaching a thousand people a year being murdered with no capital punishment. Where is your concern for these people? These are the number of homicide victims in Canada from 2014 to 2023: 525 612 619 669 664 691 765 801 882 778 If the legal system was set up to be very precise in the trial of those accused of murder, there is no reason why it should not be accurate. Do you think it is reasonable to allow killers to kill seven or eight hundred people a year with no capital punishment. Capital punishment may reduce that figure considerably.
  22. Read Genesis 9:6 and Romans ch13.
  23. You don't understand what we're talking about do you. Of course there is no death penalty if the government has not legalized it. We all know that. That doesn't mean we can't advocate for it. Or do you think nobody should mention it?
  24. It happens occasionally, but the justice system could be written in law in a way to make that an extremely unlikely event. The point is by not doing this you are allowing someone like the mass murderer of six people, grandparents, parents, and the two young girls, to escape the punishment due. Now here he is applying for parole every few years and putting the relatives through a long period of stress, grief and a requirement to fight against his parole. You also never mentioned that having no capital punishment means there may be far more murders taking place than if there was that deterrent. Are you saying it is better to let a lot of murders of innocent people to happen to avoid the remote possibility a person being incorrectly executed? How is that reasonable? Six people were murdered in the example. One of the main purposes of capital punishment is to save lives. That is mentioned in the article on Genesis 9:6 I posted, yet you say it is a misinterpretation. Nonsense. It is absolutely correct. Capital punishment is a major deterrent. It could save many lives of innocent people. In what way did I misuse scripture? Genesis 9:6 is very clear. Capital punishment for murder. How would you know what a real Christian is when you reject the Bible.
