The worst thing Hamas did besides murdering 1,200 Israeli citizens on Oct. 7th, was to take aprox 230 or 250 hostages and then start killing them. The Oct. 7th attack was an extremely inhumane thing to do and proved Hamas are nothing more than savages. What did they accomplish? For some strange reason, they got a lot of sympathy from the world's reprobate countries and populations. But that is worthless. They destroyed Gaza in the process. On Oct. 6th there was no war going on. Hamas made their choice.

In a small country like Israel with limited resources, it might not always be possible to arrange for every anarchist and terrorist to have all the niceties of lawyers, orderly court proceedings and bail because the country is in a state of emergency and perhaps is at times over run with anarchists and terrorists. That is what happens when a country is in an emergency situation. They have to do what is necessary to protect the authorities and citizens.

Why anybody would think it makes sense for the federal government to come in to a tiny island off the coast of B.C. and spend millions of dollars to cull the deer and do some other things to save the wild vegetation. If there are some things that need to be done, government should just let local B.C. hunters and groups go in and clean it up. There are lots of environmentalists too that should donate some of their time and do some volunteer work if that is what is required. A local committee could have been formed to oversee whatever they want done for no costs to the taxpayers of Canada. It is going to be difficult to get rid of Hamas because of the interference by states like Iran and their proxies. That is why it is going to be next to impossible to have peace in the region. I am not sure what Canada expects to accomplish with its policies of supporting UNRWA, a questionable organization which has been found to have terrorist participants. Canada's action in bringing in or saying they are going to bring in 5,000 Palestinian immigrants from Gaza is questionable.
