  1. The other area where I believe Carney is going to fail Canada in the future is in the area of international relations. He is not a "war-time" guy. I don't think what's going on in the world has even hit his radar, other than when he's asked by a reporter about the Iran/US thing and his answers are vague word salad. I don't think he has a clue. He's too preoccupied with building his Brookfield empire with Canadian tax dollars and the New World Order with China. I don't think he's making any plans for anything else. War pundits across the spectrum are saying we are very close to WWlll, especially if the US sends in ground troops to Iran. If that happens, China will see its opening to invade Taiwan. Carney told Canadians that we have a strategic oil reserve. We don't. It's all in the ground. And without the US, who Liberals have made into our mortal enemy, we don't have a way to refine it. It's useless as a strategic reserve. The entire world just learned the importance of having one. When the Iran conflict ends, every country on the planet that doesn't have a strategic oil reserve, will want one. And every country with one, will want to tighten it up. Canada could make $ billions $. But we can't. We're busy passing censorship laws. Carney should be focusing on energy right now. And anticipating what the world is going to need. Hell, it needs it now. He's not doing that. He's focused on Brookfield investments. He's focused on obtaining his majority government. He's focused on bringing down any opposition to his plans to become a billionaire when his stint as PM is over. He'll walk away scot-free from the flaming dumpster fire that Canada will be when he's done. His wife lives in the US. His kids live in the US. His investments are 91% in the US. But he praised Canadians at the Liberal convention for not buying US liquor. And got thunderous applause from the faithful zombies. Rules for thee, but not for he.
  2. I really wish Liberal cheerleaders could understand what this guy is saying. I don't think any of them here are capable of understanding the basics of economics and banking, no matter how well this guy breaks it down for them. They only know to poop their pants on command whenever Carney says the word TRUMP. (It's the Taff video.) Carney is not here for Canadians. He's a globalist banker who is using his skills to rob the country blind and he started setting it up in 2020 when he offered to "advise" Trudeau, the Id10t King.
  3. Aligning ourselves with China against the US will go down in history as either the smartest or stupidest thing Canada ever did. The stakes are massive, the bet on China will impact future generations of our children and grandchildren. Scott Tenneikke just said on CBC said that Canada is effectively at "war" with the US. Carney has chosen for Canadians. He has chosen China. You owe it to your children & grandchildren to think about this very critically. I don't know who the Canadian military guy with all the medals on his chest is in this video but at about 6:48, he says: "Strategic competition has gripped the world and this latest tumult could be considered a contest between freedom and authoritarianism. And we will be judged by history for how we acquit ourselves in these times. The rules-based order is the LEGACY that we have inherited. We have fought to preserve it. And that fight goes on with added urgency. China is employing every tool at its disposal, including force of diplomacy. It has a well-documented schedule in place....they are an alliance of adversaries determined to undermine & replace the rules-based order." And Carney agrees with China. At 9:15 in the video, you see part of Carney's Davos speech, in which he says outright - "The rules-based order is a bargain that no longer works. We can build something better by middle powers forming a New World Order with China, against US hegemony." Did you know you were voting for Canada to be in a cold war with the US and align with China, when you threw all your support behind this man?
  4. Those who turn up their nose at media like X really miss out on a lot. Nick Coletto, from Abacus Data, put out an X post/thread a few days ago, regarding polls and he basically - but politely - called out all the other polling groups for not doing it correctly and showing it should be done and why. Long story short, the polls are OVERestimating Liberal support and UNDERestimating Conservative support in the country. For a brief explanation of the problem with polling that Coletto was pointing out and why it matters, there's this: Coletto also has a substack - I know, I know....the Liberal cheerleaders view substacks as a poopy diaper - in which he talked about why boomer men, who generally are more conservative, suddenly switched over to the Liberals in 2025. Basically, selfishness. "F*ck everyone else. F*ck the country. I come first." Which is what the Liberal boomer men here have admitted in many comments. "I got mine when times were great. I don't care that everyone else is struggling and has no future." Here's the substack link: The Settled and the Restless: Why Baby Boomers Chose Safety Over Change
  5. Whatever. You're a fan of all things Liberal, so what you do or don't support changes with whatever whims they come up.
  6. The economy needs to support people, not the government. That's what the Conservatives believe. Mass immigration artificially (and intentionally, IMO) inflated GDP so Libs could lie & say everything was GREAT! They were trying to cover up their disastrous record of stifling, blocking and stalling everything for 10 years. Bringing in millions of low-skill workers at the behest of companies who can't seem to function business-wise without government funded slave labor was the worst for Canada. Have you not learned that yet?
  7. Federal Liberals at the Convention have agreed to ban social media accounts for Canadians under 16. The non-binding resolution reads: “Set a minimum age of sixteen for creating social media accounts, placing an obligation on Platforms to prevent under-age users from holding accounts“. Liberal Party grassroots passed a non-binding resolution supporting the restriction and placing the responsibility for enforcement on social media companies. Any policies approved at the convention are non-binding, meaning the federal cabinet is not required to turn them into law. However, a January Globe and Mail report, citing confidential sources, suggested the government has been quietly developing a similar policy targeting children under 14. Not mature enough for social media but mature enough to decide for themselves on vaccines, gender surgery and MAID.
  8. According to Carney's wife, Universities are now teaching Carney's Davos speech, people around the world flock to them everywhere they go and tell them how much they admire Canada's leadership (Leadership in......what? Economics? 🤣 Inflation? 🤣 Cost of living? 🤣 Pinkie promise trade MOU's? 🤣 Investment & business fleeing the country for the last decade? 🤣) and Canadians tell them how much better they are sleeping at night knowing Mark Carney is in charge.
  9. GAH. I'm watching more of this guy at the Liberal convention and he's terrifying. He told Immigration Minister Diab and Melanie Joly that "Whatever number you have in your head for immigration, you need to triple it. Right now." Diab: "I have a lot in my head." ** thunderous applause from the audience ** You voted 3 times for Trudeau and now, in your great wisdom, you voted Carney in and these are the people he's listening to and featuring at their Convention. WTF have you people done?
  10. Mark Carney: Large American online platforms include YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, X, LinkedIn and TikTok. Looks like you Liberal cheerleaders are going to get what you want. Only government funded, government curated news. Just like in communist countries like China. Will you still be calling your political party "Liberal"? I assume so, because Orwell. 🤣 Will we be switching to apps like in China - WeChat, Baidu (Google is banned there, this replaces Google), Douyin, Xiaohongshu? Apps tightly controlled by the government, with mandatory censorship and strict controls on what users can see? Carney's priority for the last year has been pushing censorship bills through Parliament. I don't think he's doing this for shits & giggles. And apparently we are establishing a New World Order with China and giving the US the middle finger. Given the rage I see here every day at any news that questions the Liberals at all, I can already see all the Libbies here going wild with excitement at the thought of there being zero pushhback to Liberal government.
  11. Questions for Liberal cheerleaders: Carney keep talking about establishing a New World Order with China. He's encouraging other countries to join. Carney's wife told the Liberal Convention that Canada is taking the lead in setting up this New World Order. It's clearly an important policy and the focus of his governance. I can't find any instance of him campaigning on this New World Order, although I suspect this is what he was talking about when he kept saying "rupture". So I'm wondering: 1. Do you know what the New World Order with China is? 2. If you know what it is, have you looked into it further or just heard the talking points from CBC? 3. If he had campaigned on establishing a New World Order with China, would you have voted for it? 4. Is Canada establishing a New World Order with China even something you are concerned about?
  12. I'm not trying to fool anyone, unlike the current Liberal regime. And when a country is as broke as we are, with a high spending, high taxing government - I listen to what they're saying. I think the loons here are people like you who think they're being fully informed by the CBC. 🤪
  13. Not my idea. It's a Liberal Party idea. Which is why you support it, I guess.
  14. Did you look anything up before posting this, or you just quickly googled which countries have an exit tax and posted it, implying that Canada is just like everyone else? I suspect that is what you did. Because I just had a look at Japan's exit tax. And I don't think it's making the point you want it to. Japan's exit tax for everyone is a flat rate of Y1000 - Y3000. This is what that is in CAD today: If an ultra-wealthy Japanese citizen wants to leave the country, then it's more. And you think this compares to the Liberal suggestion that everyone who wants to leave Canada has to pay a half a million dollars? Canadians are leaving the country in record numbers. More Canadians are fleeing the country than ever and one province just broke a record - Yahoo News Canada Honestly, your desperation to wave your pom-poms for everything the Liberals do is getting really pathetic. As long as they have a half million dollars.
  15. This is Winnie Liao. She hosted fundraisers for Justin Trudeau with CCP agents. Her daughter and her daughter’s gangster boyfriend are convicted killers. She was sanctioned by the law society in 2025. She paid a million dollars when her kid broke bail. And Carney’s invited her to events… twice. LINK: document.do
  16. In this clip from the Liberal convention yesterday, Carney tells Liberals, to great cheers & applause, that "Nostalgia for the past is not a strategy." We in Alberta completely agree! If your only argument for Alberta to stay in Canada is nostalgia for the past, Albertans have good news for you!
  17. SHOCKER OUT OF CANADA: I think the clerk working for the government of Canada’s new jab “impact” program may have accidentally let slip more than she intended with respect to the previous company that was governing jab injury claims. After saying “I can’t say what I found” in her review of the prior program, she proceeds tell Dan Hartman to RE-FILE his claim. That this time, she says, it’s going to be a “real doctor” who reviews his claim. A “real doctor”? Who exactly was reviewing claims previously? Recall, Dan’s son, Sean, passed away 33 days after taking his first Pfizer jab. He was 17. Dan filed his claim years ago. It was initially rejected. He filed an appeal three years ago, and has heard nothing since. Now the program has been taken over by the federal government because of things that this clerk “cannot say” were going on under the prior program administration. And he is being told to start his application from scratch. This is absurd and horrendous. Share and put in blast. (reposting because for some reason, yesterday this post received a “graphic warning” label, if you can believe)
  18. This is what I see from Liberal pom-pom wavers. The inability to see the pattern. Each instance of corruption, unethical behavior, scandal.....each one is excused and justified. It's easy to justify each incident in isolation. They cannot acknowledge the overall pattern. It's like a domestic abuse situation. Each time it happens, it's excused away - well, he was drinking.....well, he had a hard day at work.....well, he was under stress.....well.....well....well......on & on & on. Each instance is explained away. Until the pattern finally slaps you upside the head and you realize, "I gotta get outta here." The Death of Democracy in Canada ......the media has covered each as an isolated story — a bad recount here, a questionable floor crossing there, a foreign interference inquiry that found “troubling” events but assured Canadians the overall outcome was not affected. That is how a democracy dies. Through a slow and methodical dissolution of integrity, where each violation is absorbed, normalized, and filed away as an exception rather than recognized as part of a pattern. Taken in isolation, any one of them could be dismissed as an anomaly. Taken together, they form a case that the country’s democratic institutions have not merely failed. They have been repurposed. While the husk may still remain, the substance is gone. The husk of Canadian democracy has absorbed every violation documented in this piece: elections used as escape routes, votes that went uncounted, foreign interference met with partnership rather than prosecution, a Parliament that did not sit, a Prime Minister no one elected, and a majority no one voted for. Each one was treated as an isolated incident. Each one was normalized. And each one made the next one possible.
  19. Gorgeous. I recommend.
  20. What the Liberals are floating around as policy when they get their majority: This guy who just spoke at the Liberal convention is Patrick Pichette, a former senior executive at Google. He left Canada to pursue a lucrative career in the US. Here he is suggesting, to Liberal party applause, that Canadians who want to pursue opportunities in the US should be charged a $500,000 exit fee. Half a million dollars to leave your country. They've been in power for 11 years, doubled the debt, weakened the economy, suppressed wages and job opportunities by flooding the job market with foreign workers and their answer to this is......to trap young Canadians in the country. The government that mismanaged the economy for a decade now wants to limit your ability to find opportunity elsewhere. Instead of creating reasons to stay, they want to make it nearly impossible to leave. This is not economic policy. This is not nation building. This is CONTROL. You don't grow a country by locking people in it.
  21. So you admit that the Liberal Party does not work for all Canadians, only Liberal ridings. which is basically Ontario. Alberta independence. NOW.
  22. Via David Robinson: If you know NOTHING ELSE about Canadian Politics, know that this alone is why Alberta needs out. 34 out of 37 opted to go blue in the federal election. By all rights, a mega supermajority. 0% of them have any say, federally- and if they do, the needs of Quebec and Ontario come first. There is no fair deal we can make with the present framework - where 92% of the will of the province is consistently ignored, while people at the opposite end continue oppressive lawmaking, regulation, culture, and views towards Alberta.
  23. Interesting. it does seem that politics with the Liberals is like the TV show "Survivor" - Outwit, Outlast, Outplay. It doesn't have anything to do with governing effectively. And Liberal supporters seem to like it that way - look at all the ones here who can't explain a policy's pros & cons, don't even know what the policies are, have no clue about what Bills are being presented, don't give a crap about what's going on in the country......just really excited to wave that big puffy "We're #1" finger. I fear you are right about the Conservatives never having a chance against it and that they need to also play dirty. I hope our democracy doesn't devolve to that level, but that's definitely the way it's heading. Liberal platform seems to be nothing more than, "Say whatever we need to say to get elected, then stuff our pockets with money and ignore the country when we get in."
  24. Ahhh. This is one of those "Have you actually seen forced labor in China with your own eyes?" lines of questioning.
